So, I was there for detox just this past Tuesday and I left on Friday thinking I was done kicking. I didn't feel any crazy symptoms at all so me being dumb decided to leave and go home. I wanted my own bed and my own belongings and my own tv. I was just tired of being there. But I did try and stay another day. So the last day I was there I still didn't feel any symptoms and just thought I got lucky. By the time I got home I started to withdrawal I wish I would have stayed at redgate to complete the program but I didn't. Don't make the same mistake I did. The staff are so great there! And they truly care. I honestly thought I wasn't going to withdrawal. Even if it's been days without opiates sometimes it can take awhile to start detoxing. It is very rare but it happens. So just because you feel okay don't leave.

Location

Accepted Insurance

BHS Redgate Memorial Recovery Center works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Clients receiving treatment at an outpatient rehab typically do not require hospitalization or intensive supervision and support. Outpatient addiction counseling and recovery education are often offered during the morning, evening, night, and weekend, allowing clients to tailor treatment to their own schedule. Partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs are the most time-intensive and are designed for clients who are at an increased relapse risk and/or who need more robust therapeutic support.
inpatient iconInpatient Rehab
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) support a client's sustained sobriety as they exit detox or step down from an inpatient program. IOPs are also designed for clients who are at an elevated risk of relapse. Intensive outpatient treatment typically requires clients to engage in a minimum of nine hours of therapy per week, but clients may receive up to 20 therapeutic hours weekly. IOP treatment modalities often combine psychotherapy, recovery-focused life skills training, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

I give them one star because the food was good, that's about it. Other than that, they don't have methadone for fentanyl addicts, they don't give you proper sleep medication if you are on Suboxone, and they only start with a lane 2mg of Suboxone, I went into precipitated withdrawal 5 times there before I decided to leave. I lasted 5 days. They really need to think about getting real doctors also, they had a nurse practitioner there for most of the time. If you are on fentanyl do not come here!

I only give it one star because of the food bring pretty good. Other than that, if you are on Fentenol, do NOT I repeat do NOT come here! They Will put you in precipitated withdrawal over and over again With lousy tiny doses of suboxone. The most suboxin they can give you at one time is only eight milligrams. And they kept my medication For my urinary tract infection and did not return it to me upon leaving. They don't have any real doctors. They only have nurse practitioners.

3/27/24I am trying to help someone that finally accepted having an addiction and recognized that needs help. What's wrong with doing that ?So I wnt to this place just to gain some knowledge about how it works, information, pamphlets, terms, etc.The doors are locked. Understandable there's a intercom system at the door this lady answered rude as hell. I have never seen such a terrible service She didnt provide anything that could help me to help others, she shouldn't be working with public.have no idea what is she doing there. She have e ruined my day for helping someone. If is this how they treat outside people imagine how treatments are inside

Would be much higher rating...except they're severely understaffed. Additionally, there's one nurse in particular who could can less about the client, only to who's she's talking to on her cell phone (her entire shift ). Kaitlyn

I've been to redgate detox three or four times and the actual rehab once. I didn't make it through the rehab because I got kicked out due to my own naughtiness so I can only say from the first couple weeks experience that it is very regulated, scheduled to the last waking minute. Maybe some people need that, personally for me that was enough to make me buck. However, I had a wonderful counselor her name is Mia, and the people and staff there were awesome. That time just wasn't my time. Now as far as the detox, I can truly say they have an excellent program in that area. Staff is always kind they are understanding of what you're going through (even when I was acting like a C**t with a capital C!)and they don't try to mess with you while you're sick making you go to meetings and things that just drive you up the wall and could potentially make it so that you leave. They allow you to sleep, eat, give you some meds to make your detox a tad more comfortable. They want u to come get some meat on the bones get some rest get your head straight and after 2 weeks if you feel that you want to go to rehab you have that option or you leave. Also the medications they provide for the detox seem to be one of the only places that I don't feel like crawling up a wall for lack of my DOC. So I would say as far as county paid rehabs, my experience with them at least, I would say definitely give them a chance. Give yourself a chance. It may be exactly what you need you never know.
