Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Inpatient rehabs provide extra support for clients in early recovery and those at a high risk of relapse. They allow clients to focus on their sobriety safe from outside distractions, stressors, and addiction triggers. Clients reside at the treatment center for the length of their program, where they receive extensive addiction counseling, including individual, group, and family therapy. Many programs also offer robust life skills training and holistic therapies, such as meditation.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Clients enrolled in rehab aftercare programs have typically completed weeks or months of intensive treatment, often in inpatient detox and/or rehab centers, and may be receiving outpatient care. Drug rehab aftercare is designed to approach recovery as a life-long process. Clients and their case managers and care teams typically work together to formulate clients' continuing care plan, which may include peer coaching, career counseling, and 12 step program facilitation, among other services.
12-step icon12-Step
12 step programs invoke spiritual principles to promote participants' psychological and emotional growth and healing, though religious affiliation is not required. Their primary treatment modalities include intensive peer support and recovery-focused life skills training based on the 12 steps of recovery. Participants regularly engage in peer-led group meetings, which are free, anonymous, and available throughout the day and night in most communities. Sponsors provide one-on-one mentoring as participants cultivate self-awareness, forgiveness, acceptance, and accountability.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
A drug intervention in Oklahoma can be an effective tool for a loved one who's struggling with alcohol and drug addiction. Intervention services include trained interventionists to help families plan and carry out an intervention with their loved one. It is often helpful to involve a non-partial expert in this highly emotional process. The interventionist provides expert insight and can recommend the best course of treatment for the individual and family.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

To address the issues of addiction, each drug rehab in Oklahoma is tailored to meet the individual's needs. Treatment may occur in a residential or outpatient setting, and may last from a few days to several months.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Teen Program
Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.
adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
child-program thumbnail image
Child Program
The providers who specialize in the children's rehab space understand the specialized needs that this population faces. School-based and social services such as tutoring and family counseling are often central to treatment. Child programs may also address the needs of youth experiencing substance abuse in the home, including a parent's or sibling's addiction.
seniors-program thumbnail image
Seniors Program
Nearly one million adults age 65 and older live with a substance use disorder. Treatment providers who specialize in senior care understand the social, psychological, and physical effects of aging and how they relate to recovery. They can help clients address particular challenges and risks they may face as they get older such as overdosing and medication interactions and dependencies.
hiv-aids-program thumbnail image
HIV/AIDS Program
HIV/AIDS programs support disease prevention and management in high-risk individuals in recovery. Individuals who engage in intravenous drug use and other addictive behaviors are at a higher risk of becoming infected with HIV. Rehab centers that specialize in treating this population typically have a high number of nurses, physicians, and psychiatrists on staff who can make sure both their medical and mental health needs are met.
postpartum-program thumbnail image
Postpartum Program
The postpartum period is a sensitive time, especially for women in addiction recovery. Rehabs with specialized programs for new mothers will offer compassionate, personalized care to meet each client's needs as they transition from pregnancy to this season of life. Care teams may include obstetricians, pediatricians, and social workers working collaboratively to give women, children, and families a healthy future.

Clinical Services

If you participate in cognitive behavioral therapy in Oklahoma, you can expect to attend somewhere between five and 20 sessions. This short term method is an effective way to learn healthy coping strategies that help you change your thinking and behavior patterns.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Individual therapy in Oklahoma offers men and women customized care that's tailored to their specific needs for drug and alcohol addiction treatment. This can include interventions that promote self discovery, develop coping skills, or uncover the underlying causes of addictive behavior.

Motivational interviewing may be used on its own or in conjunction with other treatment approaches. It is designed as a mode of communication rather than an intervention. It involves asking questions, listening, and encouraging clients to come to their own conclusions and feel empowered to make changes in their lives.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

Couples therapy often focuses on a specific problem, such as addiction, intimacy, jealousy, or finances. Treatment is solution focused and change oriented. The couple works with the therapist to identify goals for therapy and actively participates in learning skills and behaviors to reach those goals.

Family therapy offers a safe space for family members to openly talk about their feelings and the challenges that addiction has triggered. This process helps to improve their understanding of the disease of addiction and supports the family's unified approach to the recovery journey.

Without proper life skills, it is difficult to build a path to a better future. Life skills training gives you the tools you need to gain control of daily life and face challenges head on. This makes life skills training a crucial part of recovery programs in Oklahoma.

These folks don't seem to...answer the phone.....ever...they act surprised that I showed up and knocked on they're door at 130. When it should have been unlocked since 12. Upon answering the door. The little dude Immediately looked like he didn't want to talk to me. Or do anything at all. So I'm pretty curious as to how they stay operational. Definitely suspect.

This place is money hungry. They have decided that after paying them 800$ for our assessments they were going to make my husband get classes on a 6% out of 100 6% and they want classes of course at thier facility that we have to pay every week for. And my assessment they made the decision NOT from my assessment itsself but from what DHS said to them before even meeting with us. So they will do anything to make you fail and have to take classes and pay them more money. If the judge will do it we will be getting this company taken off the DHS available company list.
