Transformative Experience at Centered Recovery ProgramI personally attended the Centered Recovery Program nearly two years ago, and I can confidently say that the staff and directors played a significant role in helping me get to where I am today. When I first joined the program, I had taken a year off from college after my freshman year, and I am incredibly grateful to have been introduced to Centered during that time.Today, I m a junior at a different university and I ve never felt more at peace, confident, and content feelings that were very unfamiliar to me before my time at Centered. This program helped me transform my life and mindset, and I couldn t be more thankful for the experience.Centered Recovery Program comes with my highest recommendation. Its holistic and mindfulness-based approach goes far beyond the standard methods of recovery, offering tools and insights that stay with you long after the program ends. From day one, the staff made me feel safe, supported, and valued. Their genuine care for each person s journey is evident in everything they do. The group sessions were engaging and meaningful, and the personalized counseling ensured I felt truly seen and heard.I m almost two years out of the program, and I continue to uncover new insights and thrive in ways I never thought possible, all thanks to my newfound self-awareness this program helped me to see.If you re searching for a recovery program that prioritizes personal transformation and long-term success, I highly recommend Centered Recovery.

Accepted Insurance

Centered Recovery Programs – Holistic Outpatient Alcohol & Drug Rehab Center In Atlanta Georgia works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program
Designed for individuals who don't require round-the-clock care, a partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a form of outpatient care with a higher level of support. PHP treatment can be an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or a step-down option. With daily sessions lasting 6 to 8 hours, up to 5 days a week, a partial hospitalization program may offer medication management, relapse prevention techniques, and behavioral therapy interventions. PHP treatment can be fully or partially covered by insurance.
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
Sober living homes in Georgia offers an alternative to the abrupt change of moving from intensive treatment to an unstructured home environment. Men's and women's sober living homes replicate everyday life situations, but they do so in a sober environment while also reinforcing healthy habits. This reduces the chance of relapse. Individuals who could use extra support after rehab or don't have a stable home environment can benefit from this transitional option.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Medical detox is the process of ridding the body of addictive substances in a medically supervised setting. If you become chemically dependent on a substance like alcohol, opioids, or benzodiazepines (like Xanax or Ativan), quitting abruptly can cause uncomfortable or even dangerous side effects. Licensed medical professionals ensure the process goes as safely and comfortably as possible while monitoring you 24/7 and administering any required medications,
12-step icon12-Step
Participants in 12 step recovery programs focus on personal growth to address the emotional and psychological factors contributing to their addiction. 12 step recovery is rooted in spiritual development, but religious affiliation isn't required. Regular group meetings and individualized support with the help of self-selected sponsors promote participants' sobriety as they work through the 12 steps, gaining insight into their addiction, taking responsibility for their life choices, and releasing control over that which is uncontrollable.

Treatments

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

This place illegally withdrew money from my account after i got discharged from the program, several months later they call me asking about checks. i had no idea what they were talking about because my insurance always pay my bill they never send me checks unless i file a claim. I usually throw away mail that has my insurance name on it because i assume it s just another bill since i am pregnant i go to a lot of appointments and they send mail like every week and i just started throwing mail away. So they didn t get paid from my insurance and they took it out my account which is not legal because it should have been sent to collections. i would never recommend anyone here or do business here again.

Response from the owner1 month ago
Hi Tiara, Any time a client chooses to use insurance to cover the cost of a medical/health service, they must follow the policies set forth by their insurance plan. If there's a deductible due, we are required to charge patients that deductible. Although that deductible is due at the time the services are rendered, we are sometimes able to set up payment plans for clients who report financial hardship, which means that sometimes clients will be paying a deductible after they have left a program--this is not illegal for any business to do with a signed financial agreement in place, which we always have. It is, in fact, insurance fraud not to collect that deductible from the patient. Patients also agree to submit reimbursements from their insurance provider because they are filing a claim, through us, and that money does not belong to them, it is owed to the facility as payment for the services rendered. Not forwarding or paying the facility the reimbursement funds mailed to you is also insurance/financial fraud. We are sorry to hear that any client would purposely not pay their bill at Centered, because our team works hard every day to ensure our clients get the best possible care and support during difficult times, including individual therapy, group therapy, medical visits and oversight, lab tests, and more. We take great pride in our work and our ability to help people change their lives for the better, but we can't do it without those people willing to be honest and open to change. If you would like to speak to someone at Centered about a payment plan for past services rendered, please feel free to call us at 770-410-4894.

I cannot begin to express the amount of gratitude that I have for Centered Recovery. As a person who has struggled for a number of years with addiction, I have never felt more compassion and love from so many. The staff concerned themselves with my well being on a daily basis. They are my family now and I love them dearly. Many treatment centers appear to be concerned but generally are more about the money than anything else. This is not the case with Centered. I will be forever grateful for them. If you need help and want to be around people who really care about your recovery, then please contact Centered.

Centered Recovery is a well thought out, professionally run, and highly effective program. They help foster personal connections and growth in their group setting, while also helping each individual learn how to best manage their sobriety. The virtual IOP option makes the treatment more convenient, but does not lessen the effectiveness.Reed, Krista and their team have been an absolute God send to me and my family. I could not recommend this place any more. Ten stars!!

Centered Recovery has changed my life! After 35 days in a treatment center, my option for sobriety was 90 in 90. I chose another option and am so glad I did! Now, 3 months later, I view my life in a totally different way. Reed, Krista, Robert and the rest of the staff have given me a new way to experience life without the need for alcohol. They have opened up ways to experience my life with joy and awareness Things I haven t been able to for so many years. I cannot speak for you, but I know my life would not be as wonderful without being CENTERED!

When I was in my 30 day program I heard a lot of I.O.P. pitches, but when the centered representatives came and spoke I instantly knew that I would benefit from their approach. Their way of treating you as a normal human being helps you to understand and have compassion for yourself and others. Instead of having you practice in self pity they help you to improve your inner self image thereby to improve your life as a whole. Reed, Krista, and Robert have distinctive styles and together form a super dynamic guidance team that rivals Voltron himself, lol. Seriously though; they teach you not to linger in the past, hating yourself, or to believe your thoughts make you a bad person, as well as the art of not future tripping. Centered is the kind of program that can benefit all human beings whether they have social, mental, or substance/alcohol issues, or even none of the above. The only thing one needs to do to see awesome results is be open to being your best self. Thank you centered my life is changing for the better everyday and your program is a huge part of that. Keep up the awesome job.

I was in IOP at centered recovery about a year ago. At the time, I didn t feel others could feel how I did. I remember when I was discharged, being told to call if I ever needed help. I didn t think that was a genuine so I buried it away in my memory banks as an automated response. However, to my surprise.. I needed a little guidance, and I remembered that offer over a year ago. And I called. Someone I recognized picked up and we spoke for 25 minutes. I am very thankful for the individuals at Centered for having my back always.

Response from the owner2 months ago
Hi Sarah! We're so glad you remembered that offer, and took us up on it! We meant every word! We are always happy to help in any way we can. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything in the futre!
