intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

Designed for individuals who don't require round-the-clock care, a partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a form of outpatient care with a higher level of support. PHP treatment can be an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or a step-down option. With daily sessions lasting 6 to 8 hours, up to 5 days a week, a partial hospitalization program may offer medication management, relapse prevention techniques, and behavioral therapy interventions. PHP treatment can be fully or partially covered by insurance.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

Sober living homes in Georgia offers an alternative to the abrupt change of moving from intensive treatment to an unstructured home environment. Men's and women's sober living homes replicate everyday life situations, but they do so in a sober environment while also reinforcing healthy habits. This reduces the chance of relapse. Individuals who could use extra support after rehab or don't have a stable home environment can benefit from this transitional option.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Medical detox is the process of ridding the body of addictive substances in a medically supervised setting. If you become chemically dependent on a substance like alcohol, opioids, or benzodiazepines (like Xanax or Ativan), quitting abruptly can cause uncomfortable or even dangerous side effects. Licensed medical professionals ensure the process goes as safely and comfortably as possible while monitoring you 24/7 and administering any required medications,

12-step icon12-Step

Participants in 12 step recovery programs focus on personal growth to address the emotional and psychological factors contributing to their addiction. 12 step recovery is rooted in spiritual development, but religious affiliation isn't required. Regular group meetings and individualized support with the help of self-selected sponsors promote participants' sobriety as they work through the 12 steps, gaining insight into their addiction, taking responsibility for their life choices, and releasing control over that which is uncontrollable.

Centered Recovery is a well thought out, professionally run, and highly effective program. They help foster personal connections and growth in their group setting, while also helping each individual learn how to best manage their sobriety. The virtual IOP option makes the treatment more convenient, but does not lessen the effectiveness.Reed, Krista and their team have been an absolute God send to me and my family. I could not recommend this place any more. Ten stars!!

Centered Recovery has changed my life! After 35 days in a treatment center, my option for sobriety was 90 in 90. I chose another option and am so glad I did! Now, 3 months later, I view my life in a totally different way. Reed, Krista, Robert and the rest of the staff have given me a new way to experience life without the need for alcohol. They have opened up ways to experience my life with joy and awareness Things I haven t been able to for so many years. I cannot speak for you, but I know my life would not be as wonderful without being CENTERED!

MR. Reed, @ Centered, has opened up amazing new avenues into the depths of my mind. Learning new things about myself i never thought possible. I encourage anyone wanting to learn more about themselves, as well as ways to deal with past or present trauma, to look into centered and look inwards into oneself and become a better you! When I was in my 30 day program I heard a lot of I.O.P. pitches, but when the centered representatives came and spoke I instantly knew that I would benefit from their approach. Their way of treating you as a normal human being helps you to understand and have compassion for yourself and others. Instead of having you practice in self pity they help you to improve your inner self image thereby to improve your life as a whole. Reed, Krista, and Robert have distinctive styles and together form a super dynamic guidance team that rivals Voltron himself, lol. Seriously though; they teach you not to linger in the past, hating yourself, or to believe your thoughts make you a bad person, as well as the art of not future tripping. Centered is the kind of program that can benefit all human beings whether they have social, mental, or substance/alcohol issues, or even none of the above. The only thing one needs to do to see awesome results is be open to being your best self. Thank you centered my life is changing for the better everyday and your program is a huge part of that. Keep up the awesome job.

I was in IOP at centered recovery about a year ago. At the time, I didn t feel others could feel how I did. I remember when I was discharged, being told to call if I ever needed help. I didn t think that was a genuine so I buried it away in my memory banks as an automated response. However, to my surprise.. I needed a little guidance, and I remembered that offer over a year ago. And I called. Someone I recognized picked up and we spoke for 25 minutes. I am very thankful for the individuals at Centered for having my back always.

Centered has changed the way I live life.I have discovered freedom through the mindfulness approach supported by Centered. The environment and staff cultivate warmth and acceptance for all.My journey to recovery had consisted of extensive experience with 12 step programs and traditional IOP s, but I continued to feel lost. When I met Reed and learned about Centered Recovery, I realized that this experience would be different. Even though I was not sure exactly how, I knew I wanted to change the way I was living. The approach at Centered not only changed my relationship with addiction, but also changed my relationship with life, itself.I highly recommend experiencing Centered for anyone who is looking to lead a healthy, peaceful, wonderful life.

I have been involved in a couple of different approaches to recovery - I can truly say that Centered's approach has easily been the best and most effective for me. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the ideas and teachings I have learned here have been life changing.Unlike other (e.g. 12 step) approaches to recovery that teach the individual to view themselves as an addict, the curriculum that Reed and team have put together focus on the underlying processes and mechanics that are at the root of all addictions. A surprisingly little amount of time is actually spent talking about addiction directly, because the program is more broad and provides clients with a holistic new way of being in the world. Recovery from addiction is a natural secondary effect from this learning, but clients can expect to see meaningful improvements in nearly every aspect of their lives on their path to a life of greater peace and ease. The curriculum draws from numerous sources and is not dogmatic or limited by orthodoxy. Meditation, mindfulness, and a better understanding of one's true "self" stand out as cornerstones of the approach at Centered.I recommend Centered, without caveat, to anyone struggling with addiction, behavioral challenges, or mental health issues.

Hello, Alex! Thank you for this amazing review and recommendation to others! You have perfectly encapsulated what we believe is so important about Centered--that without dogma, recovery is a natural byproduct of living in alignment with our "self" and the world. We will never stop talking about how simple it can truly be, and we love that you mentioned it in your review! We so appreciate you and your contributions to our Centered community and hope that you'll stay connected with us. Thanks again!
