Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

During rehab in Texas, you'll deal with underlying issues that contribute to addiction. By addressing these challenges and learning healthy ways to cope with them, you'll develop strategies that help you live a drug-free lifestyle.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

Great physicians. Outside of this, there seems to be a lack of oversight from administration. Example: I met my CM once. She obtained my address but never bothered to update it in their system. Now I'm home wondering if my Medtronic is going to mail my pacemaker ID card to me or to whatever address they had on file.Everyone appears a little complacent as well. One on night shift, I was having severe chest pain. I was toldnit was anxiety and was basically knocked out. Turns out is was pericarditis. Fun, right? Additionally, when my significant called to address my ongoing pain (I couldn't talk, i was breathing so much), the RN came to my room and asked me to ask her to stop calling. My thoughts: Don't bully me. You're a professional. Again, this is a clear indicator of compassion fatigue. So... Great MDs. They did save my life, but I suffered for it.

I normally never leave reviews good or bad, but could not pass up the opportunity to thank Val for her sincerity and humanity. She s a bright light in a grey and dim hospital room and floor. Every interaction with a patient needs to follow Val s example of compassion and care. Please recognize how much just a few seconds of treating patients as people instead of products can improve the overall health of the person in their care.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They called me while I was still coming out of anesthesia from my c section, the first moments with my baby and family to ask for payment. Then, they discharged me with an infection because they refused to examine me. I returned the next day in crying pain with infected abscesses in my abdomen that could have ruptured at any time they were trying to convince me I was just complaining about regular pain. Had to have multiple procedures and stay another week away from my baby. And for my troubles they demanded $12,000 out of my pocket. I even wrote to the CEO and their board. With documentation and photos and detailed all the pain and trauma I incurred. Including the 8 weeks I needed a wound vac and home health. They also blew every vein in my arms and did not help at all with pumping or cleaning the pump parts while I was inpatient even though I was always hooked up to the IVs and wound vac. I asked them if they could help out at all lowering the bill, but they said too bad so sad, pay us. They make millions of dollars a year and cut my insurance a $100,000 break but refused to give me even a discount. And don t hope for medical malpractice suits to help, law firms can t afford to take them on unless they kill you, and they know that. These people are the reason I m not having more kids. Please don t go here and don t trust them when they say the pain is normal.

I checked in to the ICU and was moved to another location since I was getting better. My food was delivered and when it was here, there was no table to set the food on. Valerie in food service dept went out of her way to find me a push table so I could eat my dinner. Thank you Valerie!

Genelyne is the BOMB! She and her trainee, Jennifer, went above and beyond their calls of duties. She made sure I was cleaned and also changed bed linens. She even cleaned my glasses. Please make sure they get the praise and raise they both deserve. This is Miss Roe in room 367...very pleased with my care.

This review is for Valerie. This woman is the epitome of the Aloha Spirit!! She took time out of her day to talk to me about my health and if I was ok, she also spared a few mins to reminisce about our time on the islands. She deserves to be recognized for her kind, caring, loving spirit Thank you so much Val!! Aloha my sista
