About BAART Programs Antioch

BAART Programs is an outpatient drug rehab for adults in opioid recovery in Antioch, California. They offer medication assisted treatment (MAT), substance use counseling, and aftercare services.

Their research supported MAT program is designed to support the sustained sobriety of clients in opioid recovery through the longer term use of FDA approved medications to reduce cravings and decrease relapse risk.

Their outpatient treatment program includes individual, group, and family counseling and life skills training addressing topics such as relapse prevention. Evidence based approaches may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and other proven modalities.

To help clients maintain long term sobriety, BAART Programs offer wraparound services that may include case management services, ongoing support groups, help for pregnant women, employment and housing support, and referrals to community resources and social services.

BAART Programs may be able to offer grant funding to some participants. They also accept payment through insurance plans such as Medicare, Medicaid, VA Insurance, and private plans from companies like Cigna, Humana, BlueCross BlueShield, and more. Because insurance plans vary, be sure to contact your insurer for details about your coverage and out of network benefits.

Accepted Insurance

BAART Programs Antioch works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Opiate Addiction Treatment Centers specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

The staff here is the best! All of them are very friendly and caring. I personally couldn't ask for a better counselor, Travis is down to earth, straight forward and to the point, yet he is patient, open minded, and always willing to listen before giving his opinion and steering you in the right direction. This place has put normality back in my life and I'm not sure where I'd be without this place and the staff!

Our policy is to schedule plenty of time between patients in order to avoid long waits. We strive to deliver the best care possible to all our patients, but we occasionally fall behind schedule because of emergencies. We value your feedback and want to thank you for taking the time to share it. You can contact our clinic director at (925) 281-3500 if you have any further comments or suggestions.

With the right employees this place has the potential to be wonderful! This is my second go at this place and I feel as if this time is really going to work out well because I have a counselor who actually gives a damn this time. Ms Tammy is the best thing coming out of this place, she truly understands what we go through and that seeking treatment here is a choice that we aka the addict consciously made, and it isn t something that we are being forced to do. Ms Tammy treats us as human beings and I never get the feeling that she s being judgmental which has been the case with so many other counselors I ve had since attending. In all honesty if I had been assigned to anyone else I don t believe my treatment would be as successful as it s been, wherever Ms Tammy received her training from I suggest that every counselor working here should be required to do that same training. I would suggest to make her a trainer however I don t want to loose my counselor. I wouldn t have anyone that I could genuinely talk too, I m not sure if she ll see this or not but if you do god bless you for doing his work. You ve made a tremendous impact in my life that I am forever going to be grateful for, I don t know what I would do without you. I didn t realize until being assigned to you just how important the counseling aspect was to my treatment. Thank you for being you and for allowing me to be me without passing judgement

The nurses and staff are dedicated kind and nonjudgmental. They do a great service to the community in a thankless environment. They help many people to get out of addiction. We need this service in our community despite the negativity. At least there is harm reduction and hope for people with BAART programs.

The BAART Clinic in Antioch has honestly been a life saver to me. It's not just the program it's the people who work at this location. Never have they made me feel judged or unheard. From the doctor to the front desk and most of all the nurses that I see and light up my mood daily! Shout out Tina!!! She is full of positivity, makes me laugh everytime I see her awesome self! And all though I don't know everyone's name, I can say every person I met who works there is good people in my book. If you struggle with opiate addiction give BAART a chance.

The number one requirement you must have in order to work at the front desk is to be totally illiterate, unprofessional, depressed, and hard of hearing.Other than trying to be checked in 30 times before they ACTUALLY check you in the nurses are great . They are really the only ones that seem to care about you. And the counselors are a joke so if you are going to get sober you can not depend on this place for Sh but your dose.
