Outpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Intensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). Alcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug Addiction

Clay is absolutely great leader/counselor/mentor! At first, I found it very hard to be open about my faults. During the time in recovery, I found out more about myself, took advice from other people, and put it all together with Clay s guidance. Doing this recovery treatment program I left empowered, ready to go with my life without addiction.

Clay helped me achieve sobriety and gave me skills to continue on the path of a better life. Clay is extremely knowledgeable and caring. You can tell he really cares about his profession and helping people with their addiction problems. In group he made sure everyone was participating and giving input. There was a wide range of ages in my group and we all seemed to mesh well and work through our common problems. I would could not recommend a better outpatient treatment program than AppleCore.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Clay is nothing but a joke I m pretty sure he compensated for these five star reviews. My daughter is a minor child and he put her in a group of adults which is against policy. My daughter said that every session they (the other group members) would just joke about being sober and just doing this only because they have to for court. He would frequently spend the whole session telling stories about his past, and not allowing other group members to do anything for their own recovery. My daughter was in that group for about seven sessions, and never one time was able to talk. Clay is the cheapest around that s for sure and what else is for sure is he only cares about getting your money. My daughter continued to use the entire time she was with Clay, and as soon as she switched to Someone knew she has been sober since.

I ve been to a number of treatment centers and apple core is by far the best experience I ve had. It has always been a struggle of mine opening up but clay has created a safe space where I felt comfortable and understood. He truly wants to see you succeed. Through his treatment I was able to take a deeper look at myself overcome obstacles in my life that without that support I don t think I could ve and I m forever grateful. If you are looking for an addiction treatment center I highly recommend coming here!

Apple Core saved my life. I was about to get an invitation from the judge to go to treatment so I decided to go get it started soon as I could . I was very desperate to make a change in my life. I was coming off a really bad car accident flipping my wife s car while under the influence. I was so relieved to have found a place close to home and it turned out to be the best decision I have ever made . Clay has a ton of knowledge in addiction and I was for the the first time able to be Honest about my addiction with someone . That part is where the healing started for me and I knew this would/was going to work . I completed the classes and started 12 step meetings as well with direction and help/rides to meetings from Clay. I continued to go to the group for at least a year or more just because I needed it and it was a safe place for me .. staying connected to recovery was and still is how stay clean and sober. I continue to meet with Clay a couple times a week in various ways and consider him a mentor in my recovery. I recommend AppleCore for anyone wanting to recover from substance abuse and get there life back .

As a physician for whom addiction recovery was a part of my almost half century career in medicine, I was honored and felt comfortable with being asked by Clay Johnson, the director and rehabilitation counselor at Apple Core, to sit in on one of his group sessions, to observe and and new to recovery, and possibly share my addiction medicine expertise. This proved to be both interesting and educational, as I saw once again both sides, addict and counselor, of recovery firsthand. There were approximately 12 alcoholics and drug addicts present in various stages of their path, some brand new to recovery and a few with more experience. The expertise demonstrated by Clay as group leader was neither surprising nor unusual, except insomuch as that he demonstrated a new perfect balance of obviously heartfelt compassion for his clients while providing clear and understandable guidance in the principles of recovery, including and especially the requirements for honesty and commitment to those principles; he included each struggling addict in the group process, and allowed participants to help themselves and each other by doing so. I would highly recommend anyone in the area with similar difficulties to contact Clay if they wish to start or return to a recovery path that leads away from the ravages of this common human ailment, and towards a better life, one that is free of drugs and alcohol.
