About A Dove’s Nest

The residential treatment program provides 24/7 care in a safe and secure environment where women can be supported by the faith-based Christian treatment program. Mothers and their children will receive clinical care, faith support for emotional healing, a deep understanding of the causes of addiction, mental health support, and life skills training that includes parenting and coping skills.

Upon completing the residential program, women may choose to receive ongoing care through a transitional living home. This home allows women to live for up to 2 years in a Christian-based atmosphere while they continue to learn life skills and work on areas such as education or employment.

A Dove’s Nest does not turn people away due to lack of funds. They may accept a wide range of insurance plans, such as Humana, Ambetter, Cigna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, and more. Because insurance plans vary, be sure to verify coverage information and out of network details with the insurer.

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

aftercare iconAftercare

Rehab aftercare programs offer a complete continuum of care for clients in the maintenance phase of recovery and are predicated on the idea that addiction disease is a chronic condition prone to relapse and warranting continuing care. Clients collaborate with their care team and case manager to access the specific rehab aftercare services they need to promote their sustained sobriety. Peer coaching, relapse prevention services, career counseling, and 12 step program induction are common in these programs.

12-step icon12-Step

12 step programs are based on a model of life-long recovery and are rooted in peer support and spiritual development. Regular attendance at 12 step meetings is the cornerstone of treatment, as is the selection of a peer sponsor to guide participants through the steps of recovery. These steps are based on non-denominational spiritual principles and are designed to foster self-awareness, forgiveness, acceptance, and accountability. Specialized programs are widely available, including programs for teens, seniors, and families.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

A sober living home in North Carolina offers structure and support to help individuals maintain sobriety. The home is free from substances and offers 12-step programs, individual responsibilities, and mutual support with others in recovery. This setting can provide a lifeline as individuals strengthen recovery skills and prepare to reenter mainstream society. Most residents remain in a men's or women's sober living home for six months or more.

Dove's Nest is an amazing part of my life. After losing my 17-year-old daughter to a car crash I completely lost myself and I can honestly say I was knocking on death's door by the time I was accepted there. I am a completely changed person now. I never thought I would see the day that I would be 9 months clean and I know for sure that I would not still be here today if I had not completed the program there. Too many people give up and leave from the nest before their miracle happens. It may not be for everyone but it certainly was an unforgettable life-changing experience for me and I am forever grateful. DOVE NATION!!!!!

terrible. The staff are straight up bullies there. The girls are totally sketchy lot of ppl stealing there and there is nothing anyone does about it. Seriously you can't even wash your clothes and not worry about them being stolen! You are not allowed to bring in any books or get any clothing mailed to you. You get the luxury of going to some thrift shop in their building. There is barley any support and you don't go anywhere! You are stuck like a caged rat for 4.5 months. It was a horrible experience for me but I guess that's how it is when you go to a free program. Seriously I was better off homeless, that place is ran like a prison! Just don't do it!!

My daughter was overwhelmed by the support and love when she arrived... At 3 months into her 4 month program she was pulled from a class and told her that she was released from the program. She was told that she didn't have a sponsor??? THIS PLACE NEEDS TO EXPLAIN WHAT IS EXPECTED OF THEIR CLIENTS. IF YOU AREN'T A PERSON OF COLOR.... DON'T GO HERE!
