Medical briefcase icon Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient rehabs are often ideally suited for clients exiting intensive inpatient care, those who are medically stable, and those not at an elevated relapse risk. They also offer flexibility for clients who may be unable to leave their work or family to receive inpatient care. Many outpatient treatment centers provide a full suite of services, including recovery education, medication assisted treatment (MAT), and individual, group, and family counseling. Ancillary services, including peer coaching and vocational training, are widely available.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

aftercare iconAftercare

Rehab aftercare programs ensure clients receive a complete continuum of care after completing high-level treatment in a detox center or inpatient rehab. Clients typically partner with their case manager and care team to outline their specific recovery needs and goals. Rehab aftercare services are often highly customized and designed to evolve as clients progress in their recovery. Standard services include outpatient treatment and peer coaching, career counseling, and 12 step program induction following outpatient care.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

At certain points in the recovery process, it's important to have support available 24/7. 24-hour clinical care offers a safe environment in which to recover from drug or alcohol addiction in peace, knowing medical detox and other treatment will happen with professionals on hand.

Heart icon Treatment

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

During drug rehab in Nebraska, you'll participate in therapies that address the many issues that contribute to addiction. Treatment includes physical, mental, emotional, and relational aspects. These methods provide the tools you need to achieve long-term recovery.

check iconDual Diagnosis

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

substance-abuse iconSubstance Abuse

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

family iconFamily Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

intervention iconGroup Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

life-skills iconLife Skills

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

house-medical iconTrauma Therapy

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

I had tried to get sober before and had just got out of prison. I promised myself I was going to stay clean and live a good life. Within 6 months of leaving prison the thoughts of using were strong. I started drinking and looking for ways to get drugs. I knew I needed help o ... Read More

I had a great experience and a not so great one but the not so great was only because I was in the wrong I was keeping secrets I lied to staff to protect another girl don't keep secrets do the right thing always and you'll succeed idk about the newer staff but the ones who have been there awhile and the ones who have moved on are all amazing women who would do anything for you if you just let them in. Love you all I wouldn't change a thing I've learned from you women thank you for being you. And the on behalf of my daughter who recently passed away she loved you guys and always talked about you

Terrible and unhelpful they vote you out as in the clients and this is not appropriate when it comes to women and their drama within the group it really effects the individuals ability to continue care when the clients don t actually vote for the right reasons and only sue to their little fits with each other. The ones doing right get the shit end of the deal and usually are disliked . The counselors break HIPPA continuously and talk about clients to other clients. The counselors are extremely incompetent especially Cheryl she is a drunk and lies a lot and is very terrible at her job.

I have very very weird thoughts about this facility. The counselor in this facility did wonders for my mom, and she helped her become a better person without a doubt. The other things in this facility don t make much sense. First, why do they take a percentage rate out of paychecks instead of a fixed amount? People can make and have to pay quadruple what others make. Second, why can t they take a phone call regarding a situation and not hang up on the person? My mom got discharged for a diluted sample , and I would take my moms word for days and weeks that it was nothing intentional. Very weird events lead up to her discharge of the facility.

I feel like i should definitely write a post, I hope more alumni will do the same. For me the experience i had at the bridge was amazing. It's not easy living with that many women! However when it comes to the staff i believe they really do care about the people that come in. I read some of the other reviews and was shocked to see that they had that kind of experience. I don't know their situation so i won't comment on that. When I went to the bridge i was ready to change and although i might have had a few setbacks i really felt supported and cared about while i was there. It's not going to be easy it's a treatment facility there's going to be some bumps in the road.

This is a wonderful drug and alcohol treatment center for women and children. The bridge has been around for a long time in Hastings and has been located in several areas currently they are housed in a older building that I believe used to be a nursing home. It needs a lot of updates and TLC that because the bridge is funding doesn't allow it it stands as is. The bridge has been a great success rate and wonderful caring staff during and after care.

Horrible treatment center. They re manipulative and pin the stupidest stuff on you. My mom got discharged for supposedly lying, despite the fact that my foster mom confirmed what she was saying as true. Highly recommend Saint Monica s in Lincoln Nebraska instead. Disappointed in this facility.

This place is BULLSHIT!! I got out of treatment and went here after my battle with valium and hydrocodone. They tapered me off both after a week in treatment, took my last medicine 30 days before I got out. I went in being accused of using for a whole 2 weeks stay there and kept me from my head meds for a week thinking that was the reason why I kept coming up positive for benzos. Come to find out benzos can stay in your system for more than 40 days. Having them call cps on me because I was irritable, clearly because they kept my head meds from me, I wasn't only being accused of benzos but concerns about my parenting. This right here is not a good place. I can honestly say i'm sill clean and going strong not letting a place like this ruin my life when they are supposed to care and help people. They just left me homeless. GET YOUR FACTS BEFORE TRYING TO RUIN SOMEBODYS LIVES, I MEAN REALLY!!!!! Its bad enough trying to raise my child, not only staying clean, but having to do it with half my body crushed by a huge truck that I was ejected from in an horrible accident that almost killed me. I want help and I get screwed for not doing anything wrong, but just trying to have a safe wonderful life sober.
