The facility is associated with Bay Cove Human Services and focuses on providing a safe, structured environment during the earliest and most crit | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was angry leaving my initial one star review because I felt lied to and deceived. I was told I’d be lucky to make it back to this place… meaning that I’d be dead and not be able to make it back. I was told I would be dead cause of how “horrible and defiant” I was. I did not like AA was not for me so I was going to die. Many people that worked here told me. My case worker gossiped about me to a whole group of my peers saying “one of you is going down a dark road” really? These are the people to trust? These are the people “getting me better.” Also they said the bill would not need to be paid and I kept getting harassed by AP office I believe in Florida? So I was furious.
So my initial review was one star and I left out words because I wrote a nasty review and had to erase them.
I wanted to come back and edit my one star review to a five star. Cause here I am, over 5 years later, still going strong as ever in my recovery, and I have a place that is mine, I have a good steady job, and I’m free of the chains of addiction. Whether I like it or not, my experience here is what lead me to where I am today. There was some amazing staff that was overworked and under paid so if by some grace of god they are still there, god bless. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt and say they were trying reverse psychology on me, the staff talking crap about me to other peers, the staff saying I’d be dead. But they were not that smart, they genuinely were telling me I was hopeless. I won’t name you but I know that you know who you are.
Now I sit here over 5 years later thinking that maybe if you did not spend so much time talking down and being hateful and judgmental to me, maybe all my brothers in program with me that are dead now, would still be alive if you paid them that energy. But it is what it is right? I don’t equate my success to NEATC, hell no. I put my success on my shoulders. I easily could have taken yall saying I’d be dead soon and actually gone and died. But I didn’t. I spit in all your faces and I proved all of you wrong. I did it for me. I did it for my brothers who died due to the lack of care they received wether insurance was poor or you just focused more on me being defiant than their complacent obedience to your AA. What works for some does not work for all. It’s your hate that drove the fight in me to succeed. I see my brothers in the program with me that never will get to share their smiles with the world, I can share the smile they taught me. I can share their message and I will not let them down.
That’s why I have 5 stars. This place did exactly what it needed to. Just like life, drove me insane, judged me, hate on me, gave me a place to live full of rats and mice, financial issues to battle, had to face death, had to hear pain like no other, and was not the smoothest ride. But through the pain and darkness of life there is always light, you can be that light. You can change. Amidst all the bad, there was a handful of AMAZING staff and people that gave me a real life experience I will never ever ever forget. Just like life this place is not perfect, we need to take the challenges and push on. I loved this place. And always will. This place did heal me. Not how I wanted but how I needed. Just like real life. I noticed my growth as I wanted to change my one star review. Even after all the trouble, I pushed through and fought and still see the light. I am still a light that will not be dimmed. And this place is a HUGE part of the reason I am who I am today. An amazing light in a dark dark world. This place put a challenge in front of me, life is not easy, you need to put in the work, and when life punches, you need to punch back harder.
Thank you NEATC and the amazing staff I can’t imagine would still be working here but if you are I love you. Forever I love you, and miss you, and wish you the best. I would love to come speak one day at an event, I don’t live close by anymore but I’d love to make something so please contact. Anyone wondering if they should come here, yes. Yes you should.

Life Changing Support and Community- Choosing this day facility was the best decision I ever made for my mental health. It provides a safe, structured, and welcoming space to heal while still living at home. The program operates with exceptionally high standards, largely due to the incredible leadership of the director, Adam. His dedication and active involvement set the tone for the entire facility, creating an atmosphere where patients truly feel supported. The staff here is completely unbelievable, and I am deeply thankful for every single one of them. A special shout-out goes to Kayla, whose art therapy sessions were super therapeutic. She helped me use creativity to process complex emotions in a way traditional conversation never could. And then there is Kieran, who was absolutely amazing. Kieran’s support made a profound impact on my journey, matching the empathy and professionalism found across the whole team.If you are looking for an outpatient program with a compassionate, expert team, I cannot recommend this facility highly enough. They truly give you the tools and community to reclaim your life.

I went into the program because I had to, but through the great speakers in the Detox something clicked. The CSS was harder, but that extra time was paramount in getting me used to being sober. Marijuana recovery is usually not talked about, but it’s very hard to get sober on the outside with constant insomnia unless you smoke a joint. I would’ve only been able to get sober under these pretenses. Was I bored, yes. But I read and made use of the time. The more I put into discussing my worries of losing my sobriety with Staff, the more they put into printing out health material about alcoholism and its effects on the body/worksheets to center one’s self. This program truly took me off the path to the bitter ends. I decided to not go to AA because I find it’s a trigger, but I go to Mass on Sunday. Thank you for the kindness I received.

Despite RCA’s shortcomings, they kickstarted my sobriety and were a great first step in my recovery. If you’re in good health and don’t need special accommodations, then this place is what you make of it. The admission process and acceptance to their facility was really quick, so my advice is to prepare as much as possible. Bring your own SEALED OTC medicine and SEALED hygiene and cosmetic products. You’ll meet with a doctor on the 2nd or 3rd day and can ask him to put these medicines in your patient med chart so that the nurses can disperse them to you. Try not to get hurt. You won’t get to go to a hospital unless you’re suicidal or OD’ing. My toe fracture can attest. But with that being said, I’m still grateful for the time I spent here and for the counselors that were once in our shoes and are now recovered, they are great. Medical team and their procedures and protocols could use a revamping.

Rockland Recovery has been an incredibly positive part of my recovery. That is why I chose to come back after leaving last time. The staff genuinely care about the people here, and that shows in everything from the clinical work to the groups and everyday interactions. The clinicians and group facilitators are knowledgeable, compassionate, and willing to meet people where they are. Ritchie Evans, Eddie Payne, Henry, and Mattie are all great.
The person I have connected with most is Ritchie. He is a solid dude with a great deal of lived experience, and he always offers something thoughtful and insightful. We share common bonds through addiction and combat service, so he understands parts of my experience that can be difficult to explain to someone who has not lived them.
One thing Ritchie said will forever change how I see recovery. He encouraged me not to think of people with addiction as simply being burdened with addiction, but as people who may have been chosen to serve a mission from God by using what we have survived to help others. That gave purpose to experiences I had previously viewed only as pain.
Rockland is fortunate to have Ritchie and the rest of this staff. This is a place filled with people who understand recovery, believe in the people they serve, and offer real hope.

I’m two and a half years clean thanks to this place. To keep it short, I left detox and went to another facility that was extremely strict about AA and pushed it in a way that didn’t work for me. When I expressed that, it became an issue, so I chose to leave.. leaving was difficulty the other facility made me walk miles and miles before allowing myself a cell phone and left my stranded in the middle of nowhere. I got the courage after leaving to find another facility and CHOOSE NOT TO GO BACK TO THE LIFESTYLE I ONCE HAD.
Finding Mayflower made all the difference. I appreciated that they allowed a more balanced, normal routine outside of meetings—you could relax, watch TV, do crafts, play basketball, and still focus on recovery. They also offered a different approach to sobriety that felt more supportive and personalized.
What really stood out was the medical staff—they were always there when I needed them and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. This was my first time getting sober, and I’ve stayed sober ever since because of this place.. great food as well. I’m so thankful for this place because without them I don’t know where I would be today. If one place isn’t a fit for you in recovery please find the next place and do not give up!

Woburn Wellness has played an instrumental role in my recovery journey, and I cannot speak highly enough about the care and support I received throughout my time there.
From my very first interaction, the entire team demonstrated genuine compassion and professionalism. Jeff and Juan in Admissions made what could have been an overwhelming process feel manageable, providing guidance and encouragement from the very beginning. Jasmine took the time to understand my individual circumstances and developed a treatment plan tailored specifically to my needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.
During my time in the PHP program, I had the privilege of working with Lara, an exceptional clinician whose knowledge, compassion, and dedication had a profound impact on my recovery. The program itself is engaging, interactive, and thoughtfully designed. Rather than simply presenting information, the staff fosters meaningful discussions and provides practical tools and coping strategies that can be applied in everyday life.
I am also grateful for the outstanding support provided by the entire team, including Zhenya, Noah, Kayla, Macy, Julia, Cecilia, Tony, Thespina, and Annemarie. Every staff member contributed to creating a welcoming, supportive, and recovery-focused environment.
A special thank you to Caroline for organizing the outstanding Super Saturdays. These events quickly became one of the highlights of my week. The combination of Reiki sessions provided by Lighthouse Holistic Healing and peaceful nature walks and hikes offered an invaluable opportunity to recharge both mentally and physically while reinforcing the importance of self-care in recovery.
What truly distinguishes Woburn Wellness is its commitment to treating each individual as a unique person with unique needs. The personalized care, knowledgeable staff, and genuine investment in each client’s success create an environment where lasting recovery is possible.
I wholeheartedly recommend Woburn Wellness to anyone seeking treatment for substance use or mental health challenges. Thanks to the unwavering support, guidance, and dedication of the entire team, I am proud to say that I am sober today. I will always be grateful for the role Woburn Wellness has played in helping me build a healthier and more fulfilling future.

The program provides a safe, judgment-free environment where healing and personal growth are the priority. The therapists, group facilitators, and entire team are incredibly dedicated and have made such a positive impact on my recovery journey.
A special shout-out to Macy, the Mental Health Program Director, and Jasmine, the Substance Use Program Director, whose compassion and dedication make Woburn Wellness a truly exceptional place for healing and recovery. Detox nursing were awesome. They always explained what medication was what and how it could/would affect me. Residential was as a great experience for me. Most techs actually have been through the program/recovery so they actually understand and care about you. The nursing up here was great as well. The nurse Linda loves all her clients like her own. Knowing he’s been through this for a lot of his life really made his stories speak out. I want to shout out Luna, Kourtney, Alisha, Christine, Crystal, Casey, Marcia, Josh, Jerry, and Ms. Dee for all the love and support as well as Cheryl, Lawrence, and Mirable my care team.

After struggling with addiction and trying six different rehab programs without success, Bedrock Recovery Center was the place that finally helped me get sober and change my life.
From day one, the staff genuinely cared about my recovery and treated me with compassion, respect, and understanding. A special thank you to Billy, Cam, and Mathematics, who all played a huge role in helping me stay focused, accountable, and hopeful during some of the toughest days of my life.
The program gave me the tools, support, and structure I needed to build a foundation for long-term sobriety. Today, I have a new outlook on life, stronger faith, and hope for the future because of Gods amazing grace, my willingness and determination and Bedrocks staff.
Yesterday I celebrated 90 days clean. My parents have their son back. My kids have their Dad back. It’s really a miracle if you knew everything I’ve been through.
If you’re struggling and looking for a place that truly cares about your recovery, I can’t recommend Bedrock Recovery Center enough. It gave me a chance at a new life when I had almost given up on myself. Thank you, Bedrock.

Quincy is the 53rd most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $60845. This is higher than the average cost of $56725 for addiction treatment in Massachusetts and higher than the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Quincy vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Quincy. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Quincy that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Quincy.
Blue Cross Blue Shield is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Quincy, with 6 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. UnitedHealth Group is the 2nd most popular with 6 treatment centers accepting it followed by Tufts Health in 3rd accepted by 4 drug rehabs.
Quincy has the 316th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Norfolk county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Quincy or Norfolk county as a whole.
In 2023, Quincy had the 273rd highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 122 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Quincy. All values are per 100,000 population.
