my youngest son who is 20 months old saw Dr. Semmes and her amazing team yesterday for his first well child appt at this office and wow we had such an amazing experience! we booked it a few months ago when we firstmoved back to MA and it was definitely worth the wait! My son has in recent months (after several ear infections) become very fearful of doctors and dentists however it ended up being a really positive, FUN experience for him, his dad & i. they had a child life specialist who provided our son with toys to play with during the visit and had amazing techniques to distract him while he received his immunizations (the nurse who administered the immunizations also had great techniques!!) They both were so sweet and understanding. great communication from everyone, clean office and friendlyfront desk staff! very grateful and relieved! i definitely plan on bringing my next baby here who i am having in feb thank you!

Great place to be sent to and to see specialist. And they have really good food! It's a big hospitial so you might get lost.

The staff were very patient, kind, and attentive. Many people did not see it that way while I was there but that was due to preconceived conclusions and impossible expectations among the patients who did not perceive they were actually in great care.When you treat people with respect, it ultimately comes back positive although it can take some time for the patients to reciprocate likewise.It is a safe place to recover and gather the appropriate information to restructure and prepare to hit the world with a healthier and productive mindset.

In our for-profit health care system, there's going to be a tangible difference when you visit a major hospital versus a community health center, and in the case of Dimock, those differences are mostly good ones. I had to find a new PCP after an income-related health insurance switch resulted in losing access to the Atrius Health network that I had been part of for years. (Thanks, America.) I joined Dimock on the suggestion of a friend and also based on their unique, progressive history. I've seen Dr. Tiffany Meier, and one early green flag was that she was very receptive to my questions and a lingering concern that required referral to a specialist within the larger Beth Israel Deaconess network. (I was able to get this set up quickly.) The facilities at Dimock are nice and clean, and I've found the people there to be friendly. The vibe really does feel more "of the community" and less "belly of the beast" like you often find at the major hospitals in Boston.The one downside, and it's a significant one, is communications. Each time I've had to call Dimock, I've been on hold for quite a bit of time. And based on the reviews, it seems I'm not alone here. This might be a reflection of limited resources, and if that's the case, then I would be inclined to overlook it. But the problem is that you pretty much *have* to call the Dimock Center for most things, as the online patient portal doesn't allow you to schedule an appointment or even send a message to your provider. This is mystifying to me and it's probably what I miss most about being part of the Atrius Health network. It's not a deal breaker, as the Dimock team and the clinic experience has otherwise been very good. But I really hope that this changes in the months ahead.

It was hard at first,felt lost when the days kept going by I started feeling better looking forward to meetings group chat the staff were amazing this past April,10 2021 it's been 2years since I left and I can finally say that I got my 4kids back, I never gave up on them,i took alot of positive things from there.. Really good for veterans to get good care. My PCP is great and if I need to see someone special, I'm sent to the one in West Roxbury.

I understand the 1 stars for customer service related issues. But my PCP and care team here are wonderful. So caring, understanding of my concerns and friendly. Made sure I was up to date on my vaccinations. Their goal is to serve the community and they do just that. Perhaps better train the receptionists better?

So I have been here for 2 years now UPS Downs good and bad across the board even with my struggles in failures scared that I was going to lose there support they never did give up they just helped more thank you and honestly the only people that are being disrespectful and on here are the ones that were disrespectful probably to this program

Phenomenal, all clinicians, and it's unique because several rotate in bringing their various expertise with them, and all clinicians that were there when I was were PHENOMENAL, professional, caring, full on engaged in their skills and very most absolutely very considerate towards everyone in the groups I was in.
