About Santa Rosa Treatment Program

In the bustling community of Santa Rosa, California, is the Santa Rosa Treatment Program. If you’re struggling with opioid use then you’ll find compassionate care here that’s rooted in evidence based clinical practices including medication assisted treatment, counseling, and support through community resources. They accept most insurance plans including Medi-Cal.

While some might consider this organization to be a methadone clinic, their services really go beyond just providing medication assisted treatment to help you with your opioid recovery. They have specialized care depending on your history with opioids.

They also have different resources and outreach services they provide to both you and the greater community as a whole. Being at the forefront of opioid recovery, the Santa Rosa Treatment Program has influenced the lives of countless recovering individuals and their families as they work toward a sober future.

They have a traditional medication assisted treatment (MAT) program using the FDA approved medication methadone. This program is best suited for individuals who have a long history of opioid use and are looking for a long term solution to their struggles.

If you’re someone who does not have a long history of opioid use but is ready to stop using, there is a 180 day detoxification program offered here. This program provides you with structured medication management and counseling to help your body wean off of its chemical dependency entirely. You’ll undergo an evaluation to determine which treatment track might be best for you.

Some of the other support they offer here that I value include their outreach services. The team here is committed to connecting with residents, families, and other community stakeholders to help educate them about opioid recovery.

Going beyond just providing care, the Santa Rosa Treatment Program is committed to making a difference in this well loved central California community.

The front desk woman are unprofessional and inappropriate . They are flirtatious with mail patients and cross boundaries . My husband has informed me of these woman talking badly about me when they haven't even met me. Also I have spoke with them on the phone and received nothing but rudeness and attitude. I would love to see them fired.

This methadone clinic appears to prioritize long-term client retention, often recommending high doses. I was prescribed 60mg, which caused drowsiness. When I declined a counselor's advice to increase my dose – a recommendation that exceeded their professional scope – I was subsequently banned. Furthermore, the 60mg daily dose posed a significant risk of overdose.

This place is amazing if you're willing to stay clean. I've been to another clinic In town when I first moved to Santa Rosa from Oakland. The people at the first clinic I went to were very condescending and less than helpful. When I switched over to SRTP I have been treated respectfully by 99% of the staff. Switching clinics to this one was one of the better decisions I've made since I moved to Santa Rosa. My counselor is amazing and really cares about what's going on with me and tries to help me find solutions for problems when they arise in my personal life. The dosing nurses are all very helpful and polite. They're also very encouraging and good at their jobs. The other thing that really struck me about this place was there was one day where a lady fell asleep in her car out in the parking lot. People didn't know if she was overdosing or something and the way that the staff reacted to the situation and how they rushed to help this person even though they didn't end up needing help in the end.... It was impressive and possibly could have been life-saving. This clinic really does care about people and they treat everybody with dignity. Thank you SRTP. You guys have helped me save my own life.

Santa Rosa Treatment Program works with several private insurance providers, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) support a client's sustained sobriety as they exit detox or step down from an inpatient program. IOPs are also designed for clients who are at an elevated risk of relapse. Intensive outpatient treatment typically requires clients to engage in a minimum of nine hours of therapy per week, but clients may receive up to 20 therapeutic hours weekly. IOP treatment modalities often combine psychotherapy, recovery-focused life skills training, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

For clients who are struggling with ambivalence toward change, motivational interviewing in California can help strengthen their commitment to change. Using a conversational method, the therapist helps you explore your motivations and empowers you to make the changes you desire.

Trauma therapy is a structured approach used by therapists to help you heal from a past traumatic event. Your therapist works with you to identify the traumatic memory and process the information so you experience emotional healing and a sense of safety and stability.

I am so happy to say this place works if you’re willing to get clean. I wouldn’t be where I am today if wasn’t for the wonderful staff and counselors. This place can save your life from the mistakes we make. I seriously cannot begin to describe how happy I am with this place and how grateful I am. If you are really thinking about making a change in your life and stay away from addiction, then this is the place. Forget about any stigma and fears you may have, sobriety shouldn’t be stigmatized and to not be feared.
