i have been to several other treatment centers and also worked for a few as a tech and supervisor... when i came here i expected the same thing but was shocked to learn of things i have never heard of that actually helped me to stay sober. ACTUAL TOOLS I CAN PULL OUT AND USE WHEN TRIGGERED. i have been promised this several times but never have i ever actually been given actual coping skills. the lady who teaches DBT is a god send... her classes are powerful and she gives clients things to practice that for me have actually work. my therapist has pulled things out of me that i never thought i had the strength to share with another human which lead to an ultimate surrender and peace i have never known. the case managers are rock solid and make me feel seen heard and cared for. Banyon was the last house on the block for me.... I had burned everything down and expected to get clean and sober the same way i had tried 20 previous times but the staff and the group of men and women that were there with me literally saved my life. i HIGHLY recommend this treatment center. im writing this review with hopes that someone who has never been to treatment before will see this and let Banyon palm springs be there first and last... i Pray you dont have to do this as many times as i have had to do or burn everything down like i have. please give these people and honest shot cause they care and are the best i have ever seen in this field. If they can help me....a hope to die junkie/drunk... then they can help anybody (if you just follow and trust what they tell you)thank you Banyon.... you have given me the tools to be happy no matter what life throws my way

I ve been meaning to write a review in gratitude of this home away home since I left not even a month ago though it feels like much longer. First off; if you or someone you love is seeking help/care you will not find a better program anywhere in my opinion. If you have any reservations, doubts, fears; put them all aside and allow theses beautiful people to care for you. They supported me in my most vulnerable state and regardless of how trying it became and much I felt I was weighing upon them they handled it all with grace and respect. The most difficult part was leaving, and I think that says it all. Yesterday I had an appointment with DR. Robert CAPOZZOLI. He was very professional, friendly, caring and great at his job. He performed his Emg test and explained results so I could understand. This us my second time interacting with the Martinez medical hospital. Everyone's attitude and professionalism was great. Note: I do see patients who tend to be insulting to clinic personnel. I've had hand surgery with Dr Martha Singer. The surgical team is outstanding.

If you're looking for a stressful and dirty environment and a chance of being overdosed, you've found the right place.
According to one of MPI's very unprofessional nurses, management is no longer allowing unused vacation or sick time to be cashed out or rolled into another year. Employees must use or lose their time before year's end. Consequently, at any given point, half of the staff is out on vacation and replaced by what she termed "fly by night" incompetent staff. Because of the constant shifts in staff, there is extremely poor continuity of care. Connect with a counselor and two days later, he or she is replaced with a brittle and bossy fill-in.
I attended MPI for detox services only, but during my seven days there I encountered inept nurses with control issues who refused to share vitals with clients or medicate them on time. Several of the nurses there backstabbed each other and the counselors repeatedly in front of clients. It was unprofessional and toxic.
