About Recovery Concepts of-Carolina

Recovery Concepts is based in Easley, South Carolina. They have adult outpatient programs for drug and alcohol addictions. They’ll also provide medication assisted treatment and aftercare programs.

Their medication assisted treatment program combines meds such as Suboxone with mental health counseling. This medication lessens your withdrawal and cravings while you work on your recovery. The meds are given by staff members to reduce the chance of an overdose.

While you’re in the outpatient program, you’ll be given individual and group counseling. You can learn new life skills, understand the risks and impacts of addiction and work on a plan to prevent relapse. As you develop and practice new habits you’ll be able to live independently and without needing drugs.

Accepted Insurance

Recovery Concepts of-Carolina works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
12-step icon12-Step
Persons engaged in a 12 step program regularly attend group meetings in their communities, though online sessions are becoming increasingly popular. 12 step recovery is rooted in spiritual principles that enable participants to address the root causes of addiction and to foster self-awareness, compassion, acceptance, and accountability. Peer sponsors support participants as they work through the steps of recovery. Most programs are non-denominational, but specialized formats, including the faith-based Celebrate Recovery! format, are available.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Choosing a drug rehab in South Carolina helps you overcome drug dependency, learn how to manage cravings, and obtain the tools needed to prevent relapse. This is accomplished through individualized treatment that addresses a full spectrum of physical, social, and emotional needs.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

If you are a sufferer of the very real disease of addiction to opiates, heroin, fentanyl, etc... then please heed my dire plea for you to go to Recovery Concepts in Easley. They care about you. From the easy intake to the support team there,... these wonderful people will help define your addiction and behavior and will taylor your Treatment for you. I've been in treatment for over 15 years. Tried cold turkey and thought I beat it numerous times along with inpatient places, detoxes, etc... nothing worked. Dr. Craddock and Dr. Fass have revolutionized the maintenance treatments and continue to put the most beneficial adjustments in place for your success. Krysta (our resident) nurse fights for her patients! She does not give up and her attitude and work ethic is second to none! I love her as I do Dr C, Dr Fass, Courtney, Erica, Diane and the list goes on.If you are a family member of someone addicted to these pain meds or heroin or misusing medicine then please reach out to anyone at Recovery Concepts and your needs will be met.20 yrs ago I had no trust from my family, about to lose my wife, haven't worked in a year, burned every bridge there was then sold the wood that wasn't burnt.3 months into treatment- full time job, wife happy.3 yrs in treatment- family that was wary of treatment refers people to treatment. My family trust me again. I was able to be the man my mother wanted me to be before she passed away.Over 15 years in treatment- you would never know i had any issues.Don't think about it anymore! If your suffering the go now. If your loved one is then go now. Every day you hesitate is a day that could be spent not dying, committing crimes, etc...JH

This place was prescribing my mom Xanax bars and methadone. Which is a deadly mixture. I went up there to speak to someone about it and she asks me well I'm on 7 different types of medication do you wanna do the research on those? My mom passed away now. She ran out of Xanax that they were prescribing her because they stopped prescribing them, and it caused her to have a seizure, which caused her death. I feel like anybody can walk in the door here and say they are on something and they will prescribe them methadone. This place just wants your money and doesn't care about people!!!

I love my counselor Katy! I've been on Suboxone for 5 years now. It helps me, and it saved my life. I went through a lot of bad experiences with other places, judgemental and gossiping counselors. I've been going here for almost 2 years now, and Katy is godsent. I wouldn't want another counselors. I've had a few issues with the upper staff, I'll just leave their name anonymous. Other then that person, this place is great.

My fianc and me have been with RECOVERY CONCEPTS since November 23, 2020! We have had mostly a great experience since we have been here. We have tried all different clinics in the past from METRO, CROSSROADS, and I personally even went to a clinic in Duncan county. This clinic has been the BEST one out of all the clinic we have tried to go to in the past! The counselors (Art Jones and Katy Wright) have been so helpful with our recovery and if it weren't for them we probably would have went back to using and living in the streets homeless like we was when we started this clinic! This is the cheapest clinic we have found so far and the DIRECTOR of this clinic is awesome! The director Stephanie is firm but fair with you. This clinic ISNT for someone still trying to continue to use dope and still wanting to live the lifestyle you use to live trying to high or unsick! The Director and Counselors are always willing to help you as much as possible as long as you are serious about your recovery! All in all this clinic actually saved our lives and gave us something worth living for again!!
