Yes I ll agree this treatment center has been a very very positive experience. Especially those who have moved on to another job. Am sure working here could be a challenging experience as well. Even though the few counselors I have had were worth coming to this center and am grateful for there stall. I hope going forward I ll experience the same. Thank you.

New Season Treatment Center – Hagerstown works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Clients who are leaving inpatient rehab often choose to transition into an intensive outpatient program (IOP) to receive high-level support as they reintegrate into their home, workplace, and community. Intensive outpatient rehab also benefits those at risk of relapse. Clients typically participate in nine to 20 hours of treatment weekly, with modalities ranging from psychotherapy to addiction and recovery education. Many programs also provide medication assisted treatment (MAT) and complementary care, such as nutrition counseling, and acupuncture.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Once a person has become addicted to a substance, drug rehab in Maryland is often necessary to overcome that addiction. These programs provide the tools individuals need to manage the physical, mental, and emotional issues involved and begin a successful recovery journey.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
postpartum-program thumbnail image
Postpartum Program
The postpartum period is a sensitive time, especially for women in addiction recovery. Rehabs with specialized programs for new mothers will offer compassionate, personalized care to meet each client's needs as they transition from pregnancy to this season of life. Care teams may include obstetricians, pediatricians, and social workers working collaboratively to give women, children, and families a healthy future.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I'm going to give this place a 4 out of 5 This treatment center helped me tremendously!!!They are absolutely amazing here!New Seasons helped me change my life forever for the better on 3-19-24! And I will forever cherish that!!& also be forever thankful & grateful! I would not be where I am today without them! Since i was 16 years old. Almost 14 years i battled with addiction toopioids(pain killers) and as of 6-11-24,I am, 2 months & 22 days clean! Methadone ONLY! So Thank you New Seasons for everything you guys did for me!I appreciate you guys so much!. Thank you for helping me change my life! There are a few downfalls though..1. is the intake process..Which takes 3-5 hours!!! & it will seem like it's taking forever & a year lol but that is the worst part & once you get through that the hardest part is over!!!I was hoping & praying so hard that the methadone was going to help me & I am beyond thankful that it did & it still does! I dont think about a pill, i dont wish for a pill, i dont want a pill & i dont NEED a pill!!! 2. All the nurses go on break all at once except for 1 so there is only 1 window open for you to dose at so you have to be there before 10:30 or 11am if you want to get in and out quickly. I always made sure i got there at 8am because it wasn't busy at that time.3.They don't take my insurance which is,(Wv medicaid) and that's why I had to be transferred somewhere else. But,I live in Wv anyway so I don't have to travel as far now.4. If they did an update and remodeling to make it feel warm, cozy and welcoming It would make people feel a whole lot more comfortable when you walk in..But, on a great note,Which is the most important to me is,Most of the staff are nice..They do know how to communicate with one another which is a big plus for me!My counselor Merisa was awesome!I was truly blessed with her! I definitely recommend her as a counselor! The dosing nurses are great! I enjoyed making their day just as much as they made mine! Especially Ashley!!! She is the best & will always be my favorite! Most importantly I got a dose of medicine every morning that kept me clean which means I was able to live and see another beautiful day without fighting a battle that I fought with every single day i opened my eyes for almost 14 years! So yes, I would definitely recommendNew Seasons treatment center when YOU or anyone you know are ready to get clean, healthy, happy & change for the better! I also recommend methadone instead of suboxone! It helps me tremendously!

Now that I've been going to this particular location for going on 5 years... (Will be years this November 2O24)... I've had time to process a whole lot. The counselors are very caring. They're really helpful and kind. They want to see you do well. The nurses are super friendly. So are the doctors. As far as wait times, well, TBH, that all depends on what time you get there during the morning. Like me for example. I go daily now and I try to go before 6am, if I get there before 6am, and I don't have a UA, I'm usually in and out in about 5-10 minutes. In my opinion, this is one of the better clinics in the Hagerstown area. They all want to see you do good and stay clean and sober for the rest of your life. Not saying you'll have to be here that long, but, just enough to get stable to where you feel safe and comfortable with yourself. I also wanted to say that I've had about 4 or 5 counselors since I've been going there and IDK why the counselors keep leaving or getting let go. The one I have now, she seems pretty nice. Also, FYI: As of June 1st 2024, their hours will be changing. The cutoff time for dosing will now be 12 Noon, instead of 1pm. I think it's because of the lack of counselors and nursing staff.

Has anyone else ever heard of a TREATMENT FACILITY that does NOT care if patients lose their jobs because of their ever changing (WITH NO NOTICE) requirements? . Yeah i haven't either until now! A close friend of mine is in construction & is literally never late for work unless this place causes it, which is frequently! His counselor tries to help but they create stupid rules like: drug screens must take 5 minutes per patient & there s only 1 drug screen line with 1 person working but she takes a break so you can t take drug screens from 9-9:30am, they just shut it down for 15 minutes. Physicals every 90 days & I m not sure why besides for the money because I know of a patient who was encouraged to increase her dose daily & complained constantly of symptoms that ended up being cardio problems & she almost died from a toxic mix of xylazine & methadone & they don't bother testing for xylazine & they know little about it. I could go on & on! It could be a good choice for maintenance if that s what you re looking fot but not if you have a job or responsibilities!

Used to be a great place and would have previously given 5 stars. However, they have now hired a horrible director and now the business has completely gone downhill.Just pray they hire a new director or I would absolutely go elsewhere. Unless you docare about your sobriety being less important than his wallet.Owmy own business and would never treat my clients the way thus joke of a leader treats his! Just hope he gets fired and never gets the opportunity to be considered a leader, because believe me he is far from it.

I ve been going here for treatment since 2017. I ve had my ups and downs throughout my early treatment as most do, but New Seasons has always been great to me. My only complaint would be how counselors seem to come and go at a rapid pace. You ll have a counselor for a few months and as soon as you get comfortable with them the counselor is quitting and you have to be switched to a new one. I ve had my current counselor for over 1 year now thank goodness. If I had to do it again, I would choose the same treatment center. I plan on phasing out of the program hopefully by next year and I thank New Seasons for helping me stay clean!

Let's address the elephant in the room: it feels like a lot of people around here are missing the mark when it comes to doing their job correctly. I find myself facing a significant balance due to their failure to check my insurance coverage. Shouldn't verifying insurance be the first step in the process? It's a basic expectation that seems to have been overlooked.Furthermore, despite being a patient here for almost a year, I've only had the opportunity to meet with my counselor twice. This lack of consistent support is disheartening and undermines the potential for progress. It's hard not to view this situation as a joke, and it's no wonder that some individuals may opt for a different path. However, let's not lose sight of the bigger picture. It's essential for all of us to be part of the solution rather than perpetuating the problem. It's crucial to give credit where it's due, and in this case, the credit belongs to each individual who has taken steps towards their own recovery. While this place may have played a role in your journey, ultimately, it's your personal determination and resilience that have truly saved your life. So, let's strive for improvement together. It's time for this place to take a closer look at their processes, address the gaps in care, and prioritize patient well-being. By doing so, they can empower individuals to reclaim their lives and foster an environment that truly supports lasting recovery.
