Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

The counselor is fine, however, the front desk staff are terrible. I always have problems getting through to talk to someone. When I do end up getting an appointment for my daughter, then no one seems to like to greet patients as they come in, or bother to open the window to see if the person standing there actually needs something. I was called today an hour and a half in advance to be told my daughter's appointment is to be cancelled and they couldn't work with my schedule to get us in in a timely manner after they have inconvenienced me. Don't waste time here, find somewhere that will actually care about your mental health needs.
