Medical briefcase icon Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Clients in outpatient rehab have often completed inpatient treatment and are stable and progressing in their recovery journey. Others may have elected to move straight from detox into outpatient care to minimize disruptions to their work or family life. Because outpatient clients' needs may vary widely, treatment programs and levels of care are also often diverse. Clients requiring more frequent and substantive psychotherapy and recovery support may enroll in intensive outpatient (IOP) or partial hospitalization (PHP) programs.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Clients may enroll in an intensive outpatient program (IOP) immediately following detox or after completing inpatient treatment. IOP programs involve a step-down approach in which treatment frequency and intensity gradually decrease until the client is stable enough to enter standard outpatient (OP) care. Most intensive outpatient programs offer a minimum of nine and a maximum of 20 treatment hours. Therapeutic modalities typically include medication assisted treatment (MAT), psychotherapy, recovery skills training, and complementary care.

aftercare iconAftercare

Clients receiving services in a rehab aftercare program have typically completed detox or an inpatient treatment program. Aftercare programs provide customized, wraparound care to support recovery as a life-long process. Case managers, the recovery care team, and the client work together to identify and access services the client needs in order to support sustained sobriety.

12-step icon12-Step

The 12 step program model has become standard in addiction recovery programs around the country. It combines peer coaching with spiritual development to address the root causes of addiction while providing those in recovery with robust, judgment-free support. Participants self-select a sponsor to guide them through their recovery journey, engage in regular group meetings, and "work the steps" to achieve healing emotional, psychological, and spiritual growth. Though 12 step recovery is spiritually-focused, religious affiliation is not required.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

There are many benefits that come with choosing a sober living home in Delaware. Also referred to as a halfway house, this form of transitional housing offers accountability, structure, 12-step programs, and sober fellowship. Residents have the opportunity to develop positive friendships that encourage them to abstain from substances. These relationships provide crucial support when individuals have completed inpatient rehab treatment and are preparing to return to normal day-to-day living.

heart-hands iconIntervention Services

It's appropriate to organize a drug intervention in Delaware when a person cannot stop using drugs or alcohol or when their substance abuse is causing physical harm. Intervention services can provide a professional who helps the individual understand the damage they are doing to themselves and their loved ones. This expert can explain how treatment works from the clinical perspective and help the individual see how rehab could be beneficial.

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

Offering an intensive form of rehab tailored to those who don't need 24-hour care, a partial hospitalization program (PHP) is ideal for serious addiction disorders that may not fully respond to regular outpatient therapy. PHP can serve as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or as a step-down option and is often fully covered by insurance. With daily sessions lasting six to eight hours, up to five days a week, PHP treatment can provide medication management, relapse prevention strategies, and behavioral therapy interventions.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

At certain points in the recovery process, it's important to have support available 24/7. 24-hour clinical care offers a safe environment in which to recover from drug or alcohol addiction in peace, knowing medical detox and other treatment will happen with professionals on hand.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

The place is good, it has an accessible location for the people of DE. The bad thing is that many people attend that what they want is to make you relapse into addiction.

The place is dirty and so uncomfortable especially news trying to detox. The beds are 2 in pads that hurt. Everything in the dorm rooms smell like nasty old cigarette smoke from people sneaking smoking, they blow the smoke in the air ducts vents, paper towel holders in rooms and even in the room or bathroom not caring about the other patients. The staff isn t allowed to bring patients outside

I went here last year. My clothes were wet when I left they forgot about them in the shed after washing them. Had to stay 6 days cause I had no insurance .Black workers treat black pateits better than white. Coolest guy is Rob a white guy he's really nice and a good guy. Overall it's ok still sucks but it's detox just make the best of it. Oh they never gave me my discharge papers or any phone numbers when I left. The black workers do not care if you are white just to warn you there rude.

Called Wilmington Kirwood detox and spoke with Kishawna at 11:00p.m, in dire need to have a loved one admitted. When asked the drug of choice she consulted with someone in the background . They are talking back and forth and then she said "yea we do not deal with that, that messes with the head. You have to go to the emergency room that's bad " all while laughing! I finally said it wasn't funny and hung up oh, but I hope these calls are recorded because I'm calling patient relations in the morning.
