My recent stay here was nothing short of amazing - between the staff specifically Angie, Kristie and Brooke who always went above and beyond for me. The nursing staff specifically Lisa and the entire overnight staff who constantly helped me get through the worst part of my life. I can't thank you all enough for your help. The kitchen staff for preparing the meals on time and in a mannerly order. Thank you Malvern for helping me on my new Journey.

If you need to satisfy DUI requirements in order to get your license back or are simply seeking treatment to help better your life, LOOK NO FURTHER! If you had a Drug & Alcohol assessment and they determine you need to complete outpatient treatment, intervention, etc. , Right Direction is the ideal choice. The CHEAPEST option out of all the facilities in the area that Rise Above recommends. The counselor Tom is a down to earth person and has years of experience in the field. I've been in the game for a long time, and it's simply not just how some of these other facilities charge you potentially thousands of dollars to enroll and complete their program in order to obtain a certificate. One example is Livengrin. If you don't have good insurance, or aren't on welfare, they will require $130 a week, every week, for a minimum of 3-4 months or possibly longer,and that's just for GOP. Do the math. PLUS like most other facilities, they charge you around $250 just to start the program. Right direction is $50 a session, minimum 6 sessions, and NO additional intake fees to start. AND you don't have to pay a penny until you finish the program. Individual or group sessions(whichever you prefer) can easily be coordinated around your schedule. Save yourself potentially $thousands$$ and schedule an appointment asap.

I was in one of the smaller groups, so my review will be biased by that. I found the staff to be responsive and sensitive to the needs of the patients. Therapists tried hard to engage even the most reticent patients. I was personally very pleased with my psychiatrist and psychologist. Some staff in particular were very kind during a tough time (Harry?) The food was pretty good and they offered choices. When you are away from home that is something to look forward to. Sleeping conditions were tough and they can work on pillows and noise, but otherwise my stay was not unpleasant and I feel as though my treatment was successful and I was well-treated.

I went to the agency called Campaign for Working Families. They help people file taxes. They serve people who are poor, old, disabled & more. Jasmine, one of their staff, made my experience so easy. The person who greeted me at the beginning was also wonderful.

I used to volunteer services at Teen Challenge. In 2009 the cost for the entire year was 800.00. I would assume it has increased with inflation but the information stating a cost of $12,000 monthly is inaccurate. If you need help you should consider reaching out to Teen Challenge. Lives are transformed at and through Teen Challenge, do not let the inaccurate information about the cost deter you from getting help. Also, I believe they have ways of acquiring financial assistance if needed. If you have a problem and your tired of it and / or you have been to multiple rehabs, this one is different. Don’t go back to what you know doesn’t work. Heart transformation vs’ behavior modification. Anybody can change their behavior for external reasons, like they got fired from their job, fighting with spouse, ect. and they really believe that they’ve stopped., but two months after getting a new job and the coast is clear guess what creeps back out? When there’s a transformed heart, the desires are abolished, not tucked away for later. Hearts are transformed at Teen Challenge. In 2009 the program was12 months. You might think that’s a long time. If you do nothing 5 years will fly by and you will be where you are now, or worse off, or even dead. Make a move now and imagine the endless possibilities that can happen in five years. Great place if you want to recover and work and stay clean .I been to cbh clinics all the same Folks selling this and that and going because it's free and they still complain .......
