Cannot recommend Multi Concept Recovery enough. I've heard a lot of horror stories about outpatient programs, but my experience at MCR was life changing in the best possible way. I credit their staff, therapists, and owners with paving a path for me to establish meaningful, long-term recovery. I came to MCR after decades of all-consuming addiction and left with a set of tools and resources that I desperately needed. If you are in need of help and want a place that is serious about recovery, reach out to them.

Accepted Insurance

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Clients receiving treatment at an outpatient rehab typically do not require hospitalization or intensive supervision and support. Outpatient addiction counseling and recovery education are often offered during the morning, evening, night, and weekend, allowing clients to tailor treatment to their own schedule. Partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs are the most time-intensive and are designed for clients who are at an increased relapse risk and/or who need more robust therapeutic support.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) support a client's sustained sobriety as they exit detox or step down from an inpatient program. IOPs are also designed for clients who are at an elevated risk of relapse. Intensive outpatient treatment typically requires clients to engage in a minimum of nine hours of therapy per week, but clients may receive up to 20 therapeutic hours weekly. IOP treatment modalities often combine psychotherapy, recovery-focused life skills training, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).
partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program
Commonly known as "day treatment," a partial hospitalization program (PHP) is an intensive form of outpatient treatment where clients meet during the day and return home in the evening. PHP treatment doesn't require 24-hour care and often serves as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or a step-down after a residential program. With PHP treatment, you can receive daily support for 6 to 8 hours which includes evidence-based therapies and medication management. The cost of PHP treatment typically varies but averages 90 days.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy in California is a method that therapists often use for the effective treatment of substance use disorders. It is based on the principle that substance abuse stems from unhelpful ways of thinking and patterns of behavior, which can be changed by helping the individual learn better ways of coping.

While participating in dialectical behavior therapy in California, you'll focus on four key areas of skill development: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. Treatment includes weekly individual and group sessions.

During group therapy, men and women learn to express their emotions openly in a non judgmental setting. This helps you process your feelings and reduces feelings of social isolation that are often associated with addiction.

Individual therapy for drug addiction includes a customized treatment plan that considers your history and life circumstances. During your therapy sessions, the therapist helps you uncover underlying issues and triggers for addictive behavior that support a holistic approach to recovery.

For clients who are struggling with ambivalence toward change, motivational interviewing in California can help strengthen their commitment to change. Using a conversational method, the therapist helps you explore your motivations and empowers you to make the changes you desire.

Trauma therapy is a structured approach used by therapists to help you heal from a past traumatic event. Your therapist works with you to identify the traumatic memory and process the information so you experience emotional healing and a sense of safety and stability.

The goal of couples therapy in California is to strengthen the couple's relationship. The therapist may take one or more approaches to counseling which may include the Gottman method, emotionally focused therapy, behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic couple's therapy.

eye-movement iconEye Movement Desensitization And Reprocessing

Family therapy offers a platform for members to have an open dialogue about the challenges that addiction has placed on the family unit. Through guided sessions, therapists can help families develop healthy communication skills and address unresolved issues. By working together toward a common goal, they help to support their loved one's sobriety.

MCR saved my life! The staff, the curriculum, the knowledge and hope they provided all helped me at the lowest point in my life. I never felt anything but love and support from the moment they answered my call when looking for help. I am forever grateful to this place. If you are in need of help, do yourself a favor and call them. It s not a one size fits all type of recovery, they meet you wherever you re at in life and help you find what s going to work best for you in your recovery journey. It s a safe and warm space to get your life back on track and get to know yourself better than before. Thank you to everyone at MCR, and if you re reading this considering help - good luck to you and your recovery journey.

With the help of this program, the therapist, psychologist, medical doctor I would not be where am I at now! This program changed my life and not only helped me with work but with my personal life. I recommend this program to those that need help. Because of this program I am able to help people at work and those around me.

MCR is my beacon of hope. Their amazing, holistic and warm approach to recovery created the path for me to save my own life. The staff is incredibly talented, intelligent, and thoughtful, and every single person provided me with a sense of belonging, acceptance, and safety at a level I ve never fully experienced in any other community, recovery focused and not. MCR gave me the space, compassion, insight, and coping gems that have allowed me to rediscover myself. I was able to find true self-love. I am eternally grateful to the whole team and could not recommend this wonderful place for folks seeking help more.

MCR is much more than just a recovery program. It is an awesome opportunity to re-discover yourself, get your dignity back, put your life back on track and regain the trust of family and friends. The flexibility of their program is perfect for all film industry professionals as well as anyone with a busy schedule. The entire staff has your back from the moment you enter the program as well as after completion with their empathy and compassion. I highly recommend to anyone who is ready to change their lives forever!

MY LIFE WAS SAVED BECAUSE OF MCRThis place helped me get my life back together from being in a complete ship wreak. I'm in my mid20s and I was looking everywhere for an outpatient that I felt could actually do that job right, so that I will never have to go through the process of getting clean again ; but instead i will forever remain clean. This is my second time around getting clean I was 17 the first time and remain clean for several years without any hiccups. But as life happens, tragedy struck me and I felt the only way out was to go back to what I knew best when I was younger; drugs. When I began going to MCR to try and get clean of heroin I was filled with so many different emotions: Nervousness, shame, regret, guilt, resentment, and anger to name a few. But as I walked through the doors of MCR and the two gentlemen(the owners) welcomed me, almost immediately some of those emotions started to dwindle. They greeted me with a smile and honest handshake, and a comforting "welcome". Before I was going to make the commitment they brought me in to their office which is very home like and broke down every part of the process and what they were going to do to get me to where I needed to be and achieve my goals. At first I didn't think I would even stay a month, but within the 30 minutes of talking with these gentleman I immediately I decided i wanted to go for a month. During the years of my drug use age I had been in three different outpatients and two different inpatients; And this is the only place that changed the entire way of looking at addiction. This system they have would be hard for someone who does not want to get clean, but for someone that does, it's not only easy, but it's actually enjoyable because you feel the change in your self and not only being clean but being free through mind-body and spirit. The other reviews that may have not bee The other reviews that may not be great, the reason could very well be possible because that individual(s) wanted to do their own program and not just simply let go and let someone else show you a better way, one that works. I am so grateful to MCR and all they have done for me and continue doing for me the connections I've made there with the staff and different clients, will forever hold dear to my heart thank you MCR for saving my life.

I have witnessed Eric's skill and expertise for many years now. And I am thankful that our paths crossed. What stands out most about Eric is his commitment to helping others achieve recovery. Clearly, this is his passion. This passion, coupled with his knowledge of treatment programs and his credibility with users, is the reason that I confidently refer others to him.

These people go above and beyond and offer highly effective tools that work. They have decades of experience, sobriety, and offer the best of virtually every kind of therapy and treatment. It s not one size fits all like so many other places. I was truly a lost cause and since recieving treatment at MCR I have been sober now almost 8 months for the first time in 17 years. If your looking for treatment options, give this a try they work miracles.
