This place is terrible at getting back to clients/patients. Emails go unanswered for days on end. Thing is, most people seeking mental health services need support and accountability. They shouldn t be left hanging for days or weeks, especially after a practitioner has agreed to work with them . (We re not calling a retailer to see if they have an item we desire. Then a lack of a response wouldn t be very important.) But mental health care is medical care. Most doctors would never behave like this. What s the story with this place?

My provider left me hanging when she joined your team during a med taper and it was one of the most ridiculous things to ever happen to me and destroyed my taper schedule

Inpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Clinical Services

Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

My life has quite literally been saved, and has depended on, the care I ve received from the treatment course at Expanse. I have bipolar 2/substance use disorder. I have seen my therapist with Expanse for 4 years weekly (formerly at Alltyr) and am prescribed by their psychiatrist. I cannot stress enough the benefit of their modern approach to both therapy and medication treatment. I promise no matter where you are in your journey, no matter what recovery means to you, no matter what your goals are, medication or not, this is truly the place for someone to go who wants recovery on their own terms. If you do not, or do not want to, fit into a box of recovery and/or do not prescribe to the mainstream models and programs of what recovery looks like, I beg you to reach out to Expanse. If you want and need a treatment plan accustomed to you, this is your home.This is the modern era of recovery. Please let these incredibly qualified and competent mental health professionals take the reigns so that you can live your life. Take it from me, I would not be alive without this incredible care.
