We guarantee that if you embrace this process, do the introspective work and follow our loving professionals’ recommendations, as well as the 12-step predecessors we introduce you to, that you will remain clean and sober and transform your existence from a place of scarcity, degradation and misery, to a life of happiness, joy and true freedom from the prison that is addiction and mental illness.
Life Vessel wants to pass on the hope and freedom that comes with the gift of recovery. From our family to yours, and from generation to generation, there is nothing more gratifying to us than to witness the rebirth and redemption of a broken spirit. The only thing you have to do alone is make the call. Once you do so the Life Vessel family will hold your hand throughout the rest of your spiritual journey!
Our staff is composed of doctors, nurses, master’s level therapists, and behavioral health technicians, and we are equipped to treat the many different forms of addiction and co-occurring disorders. Each of our facilities offer around-the-clock care and supervision, ensuring the safety and support of our patients at all times.
The Life Vessel Philosophy
Life Vessel’s clinical approach to treatment is to address our patients’ substance use disorder alongside any co-occurring mental health disorders and life issues in an integrative, multi-disciplinary fashion. Treatment planning is designed to meet all of our patients’ needs and is delivered as a team. Patients will interact with assessors, therapists, case managers, doctors/nurses, and other support staff to ensure that each of their needs are met in the most appropriate fashion. In conjunction with the 12 Step model (and alternatively, in which all of our therapists are certified), our therapists utilize the following therapeutic approaches in their groups and 1:1 work with our patients:
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
Motivational interviewing
Rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT)
Client-centered/humanistic interventions
Empowerment counseling
and Solution-focused counseling
Some Benefits of Treatment at Life Vessel?
Enhancing Self-Confidence Not only does progressing through the steps of recovery make you feel more confident, but your self-esteem will also improve. Simply put, if you feel good about yourself, you are more likely to be successful in treatment.
Strengthening communication skills One of the most significant aspects of recovery is communicating thoughts and feelings more effectively. When you are able to communicate more clearly, the need to use drugs or alcohol as an outlet for anger or despair lessens.
Repairing relationships One of the negative effects of addiction is damage to relationships with loved ones. It is critical that your recovery process includes mending relationships with family and friends.
Establishing a support system Effective recovery doesn’t happen in isolation. A crucial part of recovery is having a team of people that you trust. When you have positive people in your corner, you are less likely to relapse.
Learning Coping Skills When you are enrolled in addiction treatment at Life Vessel, we ensure that you acquire coping skills. These skills will help you deal with the stress and pressure of life in positive and healthy ways
Identifying triggers “Triggers” are people and places in your life that make you want to use drugs or alcohol. If you identify these specific triggers in your life, you are able to develop strategies to avoid them once you leave treatment, which decreases your chance of relapse.

Other Forms of Payment
Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.
Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.
Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.
While participating in dialectical behavior therapy in California, you'll focus on four key areas of skill development: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. Treatment includes weekly individual and group sessions.
During group therapy, men and women learn to express their emotions openly in a non judgmental setting. This helps you process your feelings and reduces feelings of social isolation that are often associated with addiction.
Individual therapy for drug addiction includes a customized treatment plan that considers your history and life circumstances. During your therapy sessions, the therapist helps you uncover underlying issues and triggers for addictive behavior that support a holistic approach to recovery.
For clients who are struggling with ambivalence toward change, motivational interviewing in California can help strengthen their commitment to change. Using a conversational method, the therapist helps you explore your motivations and empowers you to make the changes you desire.
Trauma therapy is a structured approach used by therapists to help you heal from a past traumatic event. Your therapist works with you to identify the traumatic memory and process the information so you experience emotional healing and a sense of safety and stability.
The goal of couples therapy in California is to strengthen the couple's relationship. The therapist may take one or more approaches to counseling which may include the Gottman method, emotionally focused therapy, behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic couple's therapy.
Family therapy offers a platform for members to have an open dialogue about the challenges that addiction has placed on the family unit. Through guided sessions, therapists can help families develop healthy communication skills and address unresolved issues. By working together toward a common goal, they help to support their loved one's sobriety.
