The owner needs to upgrade this place. It's such a gloomy place. TV is never on. Consider getting some bright pictures to bring the place out. Other wise the therapists there are awesome. No disrespect intended

Accepted Insurance

Key Point Health Services – Outpatient works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

teen-program thumbnail image
Teen Program
Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.
adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
seniors-program thumbnail image
Seniors Program
Nearly one million adults age 65 and older live with a substance use disorder. Treatment providers who specialize in senior care understand the social, psychological, and physical effects of aging and how they relate to recovery. They can help clients address particular challenges and risks they may face as they get older such as overdosing and medication interactions and dependencies.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

Very unaccomadating in the mental health field. Your patients need to be seen in person. I'm not a mental health professional but I know that phone and virtual appointments do not work for them. In person isn't even an option for Key Point patients at this time, even though everything else has been reopened since Covid. My son's psychiatrist has never seen him face to face. I rarely get call backs and if there is an emergency we need to go to the ER because the on call doctors are never on call. If you are seeking help for yourself or a loved one please look elsewhere. Key Point will NOT help you.*Edited post* I have removed my son completely from Key Point services. After his therapist left he was assigned two new therapists whom he never saw because they quit before he had the chance to. No one from Key Point bothered to inform me of this change until I relentlessly called them to see why my son wasn't receiving care. After finding new health care facilities for him I requested his medical records. More than two weeks later and STILL we don't have those medical records. (2/19/24)

Disorganized business. Waited 3 months for appointment. Just for it to be canceled a week before scheduled. Terrible waste of time. Do yourself a favor. Find another place to get help. No more real doctors. Now nurses only. Time to find a new business. That deserves to be paid.

I think Key Point Health Services is a great place to receive care for mental health - I know I'm not the only one! The staff have always been kind and courteous and have shown great compassion! My therapist, Mary Ellen, is amazing! For the first time in my life, I have been able to open up and have been honest with myself and my feelings thanks to her. I'm a work in progress, and for me progress is cherished. Sometimes I don't want to talk about the tough stuff that I need to face, which she understands, but she has a way of helping me think about it in a way that makes it hurt not so much. She has shown so much empathy and compassion! I think that's a huge reason I am able to open up to her. She understands! My psychiatrist is also great and is always on board with what is happening in my life and helps maintain the meds I need to make a positive difference in my life. Key Point has helped save my life more than once through their therapies. Bless everyone there and thank you with all my heart

This is the most unprofessional, irresponsible, compassion lacking, Poorly trained facility out there for mental health. The receptionists are clueless and barely coherent. They only have one staff member to do intake and it takes months to get in to be seen. They cancel appointments within an hour notice and dont care about the inconvenience it causes. We wonder why there are so many suicides and mental health issues in the world today Maybe its because of facilities like this one that could care less about your mental health as long as someone is getting paid .

Key Point is a decent place to seek help for counseling and therapy. The staff and front desk workers are kind and hard-working. Disregarding that, one women yelled at me because I didn t do what she wanted me to do. My therapist, Ms. Kati Lane does a good job in keeping up with my problems and progress from Bipolar disorder. She s non-judgemental and seeks to help me move forward and continue ways to cope with my emotions. From keeping peace between my parents and I, she knows what to do in these situations. However, my psychiatrist, Dr. Rosinsky he s good at giving me the medication that I need but he s rude. He called me names and didn t listen to what I had to say about what I wanted in my treatment. He was insensitive considering I have moods swings in my diagnosis and continued to berate me. Though, Key Point is a good place to help you with your problems, from depression and ADHD to external issues. I don t recommend this place for medication and physical issues, but I do recommend therapy. My favorite therapist, Ms. Kati Lane she s good. Give her a try. Good choice. Overall, Key Point is decent I guess. If they had better organizational skills and more fit doctors this place would be a great choice; if they had the comfort of a happy place it would draw many people seeking caring mental help.
