About Jc Treatment Center

Jewel City Treatment Center is a private outpatient drug rehabilitation and mental health center located in Glendale, California. They specialize in helping people experiencing mental illness or addiction. They also provide dual diagnosis care for those with co-occurring conditions.

They have a complete continuum of outpatient care, including outpatient detox, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. They offer traditional and holistic approaches to addiction recovery, including cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy.

Their aftercare component consists of individual and group therapy in a safe and supportive environment. Dual diagnosis care is great for helping clients prevent relapse by understanding the connection between lasting sobriety and mental health.

Many who have gotten treatment there say that the staff are caring and responsive. Former clients have noted that the usual bumps in the road during the recovery process were much easier than anticipated when being treated there. One person credited them with saving their own life.

THIS PLACE IS NOT A GOOD PLACE THEY LIE TO WHOM EVER THEY NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU STAY. AS THEY DID TO MY FEDERAL PROBATION OFFICER TO WHICH ISNT GOOD ON THERE PART NOT TO MENTION THEY DONT CARE IF YOUR BELONGINGS ARE LOST BY THERE STAFF, THEY WILL TELL YOU THEY ARE NOT Responsible AS THEY DID ME. THEN QUIT ANSWERING OR BLOCK YOU. EMPLOYEES NOT ONLY LET PEOPLE USE AND HELP PASS U.A.s... ITS A REVOLVING DOOR OF THE SAME CLIENTS CAUSE THEY DONT CARE NOR TAKE Responsibility OF THERE FAULTS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THE "OWNERS" DONT CARE ABOUT CLIENTS WHAT SO EVER. I COULD NOT EVAN BE COMPENSATED FOR ANY OF MY BELONGINGS LOST IN THERE FACILITY. I WAS TOLD ITS PART OF RECOVERY TO HAVE TO START OVER BY THE "OWNER" IF I DIDNT HAVE TO LEAVE 1 STAR I WOULD NOT.

I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience with Jewel City Treatment Center. Not only did they falsely accuse me of failing a drug test, but their complete lack of care and compassion throughout the ordeal left me feeling utterly disheartened and unsupported.First and foremost, the center claimed that I had failed a urine analysis (UA) without any concrete evidence to support their accusation. As someone who has been consistently clean and committed to my recovery, this false accusation was a devastating blow. When I questioned the results and asked for further testing or clarification, the staff at Jewel City Treatment Center dismissed my concerns and refused to provide any avenue for resolution. What struck me the most was their indifferent attitude towards their clients. Instead of addressing my concerns, the staff seemed disinterested and even dismissive. It was clear that they had no intention of taking my situation seriously or ensuring that their accusations were accurate. This lack of empathy and willingness to understand the impact of their actions on someone's recovery journey is simply inexcusable. Moreover, the center failed to offer any form of support or guidance during this distressing period. As a patient seeking help, I expected a treatment center to be a safe haven, a place where I could trust the professionals to guide me towards a healthier and happier life. Unfortunately, Jewel City Treatment Center displayed a complete disregard for their responsibility to provide adequate care and support to their clients. In conclusion, my experience with Jewel City Treatment Center was nothing short of a nightmare. The false accusation of a failed drug test, coupled with their lack of concern and indifference towards my situation, has left me deeply disappointed and disheartened. I strongly advise anyone seeking treatment to consider other options, as this center fails to meet even the most basic standards of professionalism and compassion.

Levels of Care

aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).
12-step icon12-Step
12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

Treatments

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Recovery is hard for everyone and tends to brings out lots of fears and emotions. Were there some bumps along the way? Of course, but JC Treatment really has a good system in place, with an amazing team of staff, who really care about every clients recovery. I would highly recommend Jewel City Treatment to anyone in the Pasadena area struggling with addicition.

Jewel City Treatment Center in Pasadena was recommended to me by my uncle when I was looking for an outpatient addiction treatment center. The staff was professional and made me feel comfortable and safe throughout each program I attended at JC. I could not have asked for a better rehab experience.

Of all the clinics I have experienced on my recovery journey, the outpatient treatment programs at JC Treatment Center in Glendale, CA are by far one of the best programs I have invested in. They are structured and organized and are really trying to achieve stability and consistency for all. What ever they do, it's genuine and with the best intentions. Even at periods of struggle, they don't judge.

I have been trying to get sober the past 3 years and I have been to treatment 5 times. I came to JC Treatment for PHP and I am now 142 days sober. I was a handful and a hot mess when I got there but the team never gave up on me. They work with families and they truly care about them too. I cannot say enough good things about the team at JC Treatment and would recommend to anyone who needs help getting on the right path.
