Alter met all my needs and exceeded expectations. I had Anxiety/PTSD flashbacks that would bring me to tears daily, during treatment I have learned many different effective meditation techniques for use when ever I need them. I finally have the right mix of medications when every other doctor before them failed to find the correct prescription. I am now stabilized and living my life normally, no more crying, and feeling better every day. Staff is understanding and friendly, the house is comforting and relaxing. If you are looking to alleviate stress from traumatic events, this is the most helpful place possible.

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and cared for. Having a private room was a huge plus it gave me the personal space I needed to focus on my recovery while still managing my work and school. The fact that I could use my phone and laptop was incredibly helpful, allowing me to stay connected and on top of everything while receiving the care I needed.The staff were incredible not only professional but genuinely caring. They treated me like a friend, making the whole experience feel much more comfortable. The facility itself is very comfy. Plus, there were plenty of fun outings that kept me active and distracted in the best way possible.If you're looking for a place where you can focus on recovery while still maintaining your responsibilities, I can t recommend this place enough!

Gratitude lodge was so supportive and helpful while being in treatment. The staff is beyond helpful and always there for you in hard times . Tiffany and Tony work very closely with you , showing you the amazing side of sobriety. I appreciate this program and every little thing they have done to make my recovery a success story.

Proud to be a life long alumni member of 2022!!!! This place gave me the tools and knowledge to deal with my inner lining problems that caused me to use in the first place. I would say it saved my life but it was ultimately me who put the work and made the changes in my life to have a happy life now. I will give all the credit for this place giving me the opportunity, accountability, resources, structure, housing, tools, food, memories, experiences and live long bonds with people. That is something I will never forget. If you re serious and truly willing to wanna change. I highly recommend giving them a call and stop suffering. Thank you Kayla for greeting EVERYONE with positivity and that smile I will never forget. Gal as my case manager was at times my therapist. She was amazing and really humbled my ego a few times. Always called me on my BS. Bianca was a fire cracker but when you needed to talk she would listen. I would compare her to a sweet and sour gummy. Chase was one of the dudes who you wanted to get a pat on the back from for doing something good and who all the girls crushed on. He was just such a perfect fit for that program. If you ever met him his presence carried this purity you can t fake. He just had it and could tell was never going back to his old life. I really do miss everyone and if things were different back home I would ve moved out there and stayed with them however I could. This isn t something someone paid me to say for all you skeptics. I m saying this from my heart. No BS. You got nothing to lose and everything to gain. I hope everyone is doing well and wish everyone at Renaissance nothing but the best. Thank you guys again.

This Rehab facility was absolutely life-changing for me. There are so many great things I could list about this place. The staff were knowledgeable, compassionate, friendly and MOST of all: EXTREMELY accommodating and understanding with requests. The house was located in a quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood with absolute stunning views overlooking the ocean. The fun activities and experiences/outings were extremely helpful coping skills for my mental health and cravings.At Laguna View Detox it is evident that the staff care about you from the time you walk in the front door.I would like to point out that while this experience was amazing, there are a couple of things I would like to point out as areas for growth and improvement.1. Food - the food was sub-par in my humble opinion. While they do cater to dietary restrictions and allergies, there were many occasions that felt like the same food was repetitive, less-healthy, and lacked the right amount to serve everyone to their satisfaction.It would have been nice to maybe have the option for meal prep or an activity cooking course to teach people the skill and value in cooking together as well as considering a part-time chef position to develop those skills in staff and clients alike.2. Staff/clients - While 90% of the staff/clients were absolutely amazing, there were a couple that maybe could ve brought more value to the table or fulfilled their duties so others wouldn t have to suffer the consequences. It s not fair nor realistic to expect perfection from everyone but it is possible to differentiate those that are there to just collect a paycheck or take advantage of the care the system provides.These problems will undoubtedly always arise in every work environment and company alike thus should be expected time to time. The higher management can hopefully take more proactive measures to prevent the house becoming a toxic environment as well as addressing the problems at the core of the individuals.Once again I would highly recommend this place to anyone seriously committed to attaining a peaceful and healthy life of sobriety. I am forever indebted and grateful to LVD for my experience. I am also proud of myself for making the best of this opportunity and utilizing all the tools, skills and knowledge taught from the wise and relatable staff.I have made life-long friends, relationships, coping skills and knowledge that I will carry throughput my lifetime toward sobriety.
