ACTUAL TOOLS I CAN PULL OUT AND USE WHEN TRIGGERED. i have been promised this several times but never have i ever actually been given actual coping skills. the lady who teaches DBT is a god send... her classes are powerful and she gives clients things to practice that for me have actually work. my therapist has pulled things out of me that i never thought i had the strength to share with another human which lead to an ultimate surrender and peace i have never known. the case managers are rock solid and make me feel seen heard and cared for. Banyon was the last house on the block for me.... I had burned everything down and expected to get clean and sober the same way i had tried 20 previous times but the staff and the group of men and women that were there with me literally saved my life. i HIGHLY recommend this treatment center. im writing this review with hopes that someone who has never been to treatment before will see this and let Banyon palm springs be there first and last... i Pray you dont have to do this as many times as i have had to do or burn everything down like i have. please give these people and honest shot cause they care and are the best i have ever seen in this field. If they can help me....a hope to die junkie/drunk... then they can help anybody (if you just follow and trust what they tell you)thank you Banyon.... you have given me the tools to be happy no matter what life throws my way

Having a private room was a huge plus it gave me the personal space I needed to focus on my recovery while still managing my work and school. The fact that I could use my phone and laptop was incredibly helpful, allowing me to stay connected and on top of everything while receiving the care I needed.The staff were incredible not only professional but genuinely caring. They treated me like a friend, making the whole experience feel much more comfortable. The facility itself is very comfy. But they make it so welcoming and understanding with numerous counselors holding sessions all week. We had outdoor yoga, a gym membership, money allotted each weekend per person to have a free day. Equine therapy was every other week we'd drive to the canyon and play with all the ponies and horses! The house we were in was brand new and super nice. All the staff was above par. The staff cared, the program worked. There were phone calls allowed daily. You got to walk to a local store daily, you got one family day on Sunday for a few hours. I went to a house in Orange County. The staff were the kindest, most genuine people. The therapy was incredibly helpful. They listened to me with all of my fears of residential and made it a beautiful experience. The house was amazing, the other clients I still stay in touch with. Best experience. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because my insurance cut and I was given 12 hour notice to leave. They helped me find another place but that place was awful and I booked a flight home within 48 hours. Newport the facility was beautiful and amazing. I would go back in a heartbeat if I could. I wish they would not have referred to such a bad second place.

The fact that I could use my phone and laptop was incredibly helpful, allowing me to stay connected and on top of everything while receiving the care I needed.The staff were incredible not only professional but genuinely caring. They treated me like a friend, making the whole experience feel much more comfortable. The facility itself is very comfy. Plus, there were plenty of fun outings that kept me active and distracted in the best way possible.If you're looking for a place where you can focus on recovery while still maintaining your responsibilities, I can t recommend this place enough!
