Finding a different clinic and I recommend you all do aswell, this place cannot figure their scheduling out for the life of them. This place shouldbe a walk in clinic with how messy appointment's are. For example, you schedule your appointment for 3:30 but hey guess what a new patient is in before you! That means ur appointment isn t actually until 5:30. New guy taking forever? Don t worry you can also stare at a computer screen for who knows how long before some random provider from who knows where picks up ur video call and talks to you. Save ur time and find a more organized clinic. I m only coming back one more time because I have to. Oh yeah! Can t forget, they only have one in person provider to see you and administer your meds only one day a week and everyone who works there tells you different days!

Accepted Insurance

Ideal Option works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Effective drug rehab in Washington integrates care for the whole person, offering comprehensive solutions to addiction. Treatment methods address mental, physical, and relational aspects of substance abuse.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

teen-program thumbnail image
Teen Program
Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.
adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
child-program thumbnail image
Child Program
The providers who specialize in the children's rehab space understand the specialized needs that this population faces. School-based and social services such as tutoring and family counseling are often central to treatment. Child programs may also address the needs of youth experiencing substance abuse in the home, including a parent's or sibling's addiction.
seniors-program thumbnail image
Seniors Program
Nearly one million adults age 65 and older live with a substance use disorder. Treatment providers who specialize in senior care understand the social, psychological, and physical effects of aging and how they relate to recovery. They can help clients address particular challenges and risks they may face as they get older such as overdosing and medication interactions and dependencies.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

If you're looking to change your life and get treatment, just contact them ASAP.The staff at this clinic both Front Desk & Physician are very kind and intuitive. Even the online support staff is very kind and helpful. There was some issues when we started, such as hour long wait times, clunky contacting systems/methods, seeing a different physician every visit, etc... They have worked out pretty much all of the delay issues they were having.Appointments are quick and easy now. They try to be as flexible as possible once you have been seen a few times and have some trust built. My partner and I were so scared to reach out for treatment but we got help just in time. We were about to lose everything we had, now a year later we have an amazing job, a happy life, and reaching out to this clinic was one of the best choices we have made.I'm not familiar with other treatment places thankfully. But I can say that this clinic helped us immensely and I'm sure it can help you, but be ready to commit and get through it.

had to wait an hour to have a telehealth call inside the doctor s office. everyone in the office was annoyed not just me. being that withdrawal is a time sensitive issue this seems quite insensitive. the doctors obviously don t care as much as they should. front desk people are nice enough but not that bright.

Response from the owner3 years ago
I am so sorry you have had negative experiences with us. You bring up some very valid concerns. We know how crucial time is, especially for individuals experiencing withdrawal. It is our staff's priority to see patients as quick and efficiently as possible, while also providing each patient with the best quality care. We continue to make appointment times (including via telemedicine) a priority, as we value our patient's time. I apologize if your experience did not meet those standards. You are right that when you speak of the importance of time, and we're sorry. Thank you so much for taking the time to send us this feedback. Ideal Option welcomes all feedback and uses feedback like this to continuously make improvements to provide the best experience and care possible.

I have an incredibly long history with the building that now is Ideal Options. First; almost a decade ago it was PMO, then Integra, and one day it was abruptly bought by Ideal Options. My first meeting was their first day in the office, and it was pretty much.... mayhem. But they had one of the founding doctors there to do one-on-one intakes with ALL patients. This of course took time - but in my opinion was the only way they would have taken me. The intake introduced me to the first doctor in 20 years to truly seem like he understood my PTSD (and other mental illnesses), addiction, and unique situation. I have an INSANE individual set of circumstances that usually makes doctors run from me. But not this time, with understanding to make sure I keep up accountability and also continue (outside) long term mental illness help, they were prepared to help my plan to taper off medication. At first the telemed and new prescription policies were just something that took some time getting used to (as I benefited from stability of seeing the same provider in person to talk to). This eventually evolved to more in-person provider visits and a time table and plan that worked for me very effectively, and at my own pace. Plus a quicker prescription pick up time. When it comes to Ideal Options I had a provider who was the only individual to move over from Integra, so I was lucky to have trust already built. Though that provider recently left. With COVID, and a new provider, they've been very patient and understanding. For MY experience as someone who is 7 years into recovery I am always prepared to give blood, or whatever needed to show the work I'm doing on my side. They even put up with my sometimes VERY 'ocd' proactive nature. Double and triple checking things so I always know what's going on. So overall, this place was more than just important to me - and though every place goes through their bumps, I do believe they are taking measures to evolve to help me and people like me.Each person's recovery is an individual journey where the people treating you need to fit who you are and what you've gone through. So with my experience; be honest, ask questions, make known what YOU need and for *me*, this has made it so I can live and thrive and also focus on the (also) nonstop mission to take on my mental health. I truly am thankful for their help. I also look forward to see how things continue to evolve.**I'd like to add a special thanks to the Bellevue clinic staff, Dr. Egli (co-founder of IO), former provider Wesley Sassaman who was my main provider (until of late), provider Geoffrey Godfrey (whom I would usually saw while my main provider was on vacation), and my current provider Marianne Wahba.

My experience with Ideal Options has been really good. I've been with them for almost 2 years now and I started out at the Mountlake Terrace office. This place is definitely what you make it. I havent had any trouble with them because I've stayed clean and jumped through all their hoops. They even helped me get Hep C treatment and now they are helping me with Smoking cessation. If you want to change your life and you're willing to do what they ask, like start out with twice a week visits, then these guys can help. Plus you move up to 3 week and monthly visits pretty quickly. The staff is very friendly and the appointments are usually pretty quick.
