About Ideal Option

Ideal Option provides substance use care for adults in Bellevue, Washington. They specialize in opioid recovery with flexible treatment plans. One of the primary services this facility offers is medication assisted treatment.

Convenient Care in Bellevue

Some guests may find seeking treatment for addiction a daunting process due to a lack of flexibility. They often have busy schedules and tons of obligations. Ideal Option offers outpatient treatment that works with these schedules.

Guests have a thorough medical assessment to help the team determine their specific needs and recovery goals. Case management is available to provide connections to other resources or agencies for ongoing recovery assistance. Care managers can help with options such as safe housing, healthcare and transportation.

Withdrawal Assistance For Long Term Recovery

Another reason some guests avoid treatment is due to the withdrawal process. They offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT), using FDA-approved medicines to help ease symptoms and reduce drug cravings. This service can make clients more comfortable and allow them to focus on recovery without distractions.

Medication is combined with counseling sessions to help uncover the potential root causes of substance use. Guests can work through past traumas and events that may have contributed to their addiction issues. Former clients have praised the center for the caring, compassionate atmosphere and kindness shown by staff members.

They accept most commercial health insurance plans and work with Medicaid and Medicare. They also offer a sliding scale for guests without healthcare coverage. Ideal Option is near Mercer Slough Nature Park, where guests can enjoy wetlands, walking trails and a serene environment conducive to healing.

Drug clinic designed to monetize your addiction with sub par practitioners ( didn’t read chart, constantly argued until she READ THE CHART. Being a HCP, I never shared my story, just to see if they were just a drug clinic. They are. They don’t have doctors, just PAs with dea numbers. They don’t communicate with pharmacies making it days before you get meds, and despite major back surgery treated me like I was a street addict. Asked me if I had problem with fent everytime. I’ve never done fent. I was referred for. Pain control. Coming off I would say the practitioners are not ever gonna make it in anything but a dope clinic. President: call me. I have enough information to get you on joint commission radar. Marianne, still waiting for my callback. Don’t let these people do anything for you other than provide medication‘s that you need they are not a practicing doctors office they do not know medicine they have no clue of anything other than addiction and that’s what they’re propagating you’re comfortable with you staying on that and paying them that money. not to mention the current lawsuit against Suboxone that is making its way through the courts right now and looks to be banned probably sometime next year as the DEA is due recommendations going to affect Suboxone is just as much of a racket is OXY just makes the money and won’t kill you it’s a perfect combination they just switched your addiction and you’re paying them to do it make sure you challenge these people medically when they go in because they have not been practicing medicine at all their addiction specialist they write for doubt you got any kind of comorbidity or serious diagnosis and you need to speak to a MD who specializes in addiction not a PA who writes for it

This was a few years ago, but still feel it's relevant. I went in for an assessment for opioid addiction. I had been prescribed methadone for pain for MANY YEARS in the past and weaned myself off it. I had done it before and had no doubt I could do it again. On the other hand, each time I tried Suboxone I got sick. I told this to every person I spoke to and in the end they said, "We are going to have you try suboxone." So I never went back.
Response from the owner1 week ago
Hi Brooke, we are so sorry to hear about your negative experience! Unfortunately, we do not prescribe methadone, only buprenorphine. But we now have injectable medications available, so if you are interested in becoming a patient and trying that instead, we'd love to get you started!

Accepted Insurance

Ideal Option works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Inpatient rehab enables clients who are exiting detox or who are at an increased risk of relapse to focus on their recovery in a highly structured and supportive environment. Inpatient rehabs provide intensive clinical supervision and high-level treatment. Clients remain at the facility through the length of their program and typically receive multiple addiction counseling and education sessions per day. Holistic therapies, such as yoga, message, and meditation, may be used to relieve stress and ease discomfort.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Effective drug rehab in Washington integrates care for the whole person, offering comprehensive solutions to addiction. Treatment methods address mental, physical, and relational aspects of substance abuse.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Ideal Options provides a terrific way for people struggling with addiction to regain control of their lives. No judgements, no pressure, no elaborate hoops to jump through. Staff is friendly & helpful, providers are kind & knowledgeable. Ideal also has an amazing program for uninsured with a reasonable flat rate for appointments & in-house labs. It's so unusual in healthcare and an absolute lifesaver for so many addicts such as myself. I highly recommend Ideal Options!

Finding a different clinic and I recommend you all do aswell, this place cannot figure their scheduling out for the life of them. This place should be a walk in clinic with how messy “appointment's” are. For example, you schedule your appointment for 3:30 but hey guess what a new patient is in before you! That means ur appointment isn’t actually until 5:30. New guy taking forever? Don’t worry you can also stare at a computer screen for who knows how long before some random provider from who knows where picks up ur video call and talks to you. Save ur time and find a more organized clinic. I’m only coming back one more time because I have to. Oh yeah! Can’t forget, they only have one in person provider to see you and administer your meds only one day a week and everyone who works there tells you different days!

Response from the owner
I am so sorry you have had negative experiences with our staff, Jake. Our expectations of our staff and providers are that they are passionate about addiction medicine and love helping patients rebuild their lives, families, and relationships. We are a judge-free, safe place where everyone should feel welcomed and loved. If this was not the the experience you had, then it does not meet the expectations of Ideal Option - and for that I am sorry.

To get ahold of us for any reason at all (including complaints or about Rx times), you can email info@idealoption.net, text us at 833-694-0368, call us at 877-522-1275, or send us a contact form on our website: www.idealoption.com. We will get back to you ASAP.

Thank you so much for taking the time to send us this feedback. Ideal Option welcomes all feedback and uses feedback like this to continuously make improvements to provide the best experience and care possible.
