outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

aftercare iconAftercare

Rehab aftercare programs offer customized, wraparound support for clients in the maintenance phase of recovery. Many clients enroll in drug rehab immediately after completing intensive inpatient or residential care. Services encompass outpatient treatment but often extend long beyond the completion of a formal recovery program and typically include a variety of medical, mental health, and social service programs. Peer coaching, relapse prevention, 12 step program induction, and related services are commonly available.

12-step icon12-Step

Recovery models based on 12 step programs feature extensive peer coaching and emphasize personal growth as a key to sustained sobriety. Regular attendance at 12 step meetings, which are anonymous, free, and available daily, is expected. The 12 steps of recovery are based on spiritual principles and support participants in addressing the root causes of their disease, accept responsibility for their choices, and accept that which is beyond their control. Self-selected sponsors provide one-one-mentoring.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

A sober living home offers a supportive environment where individuals in recovery provide mutual support as they share household responsibilities. Residents participate in 12-step programs and offer accountability for sobriety. To remain in men's or women's sober living, individuals must remain drug and alcohol-free, contribute to chores, attend support group meetings, and help cover expenses to live in the home.

heart-hands iconIntervention Services

A drug intervention in Massachusetts provides friends and family the opportunity to share how a person's substance use has caused problems in their lives. The goal of the intervention is to encourage the person to get the treatment they need. Most rehab facilities offer intervention services that can help families prepare for the intervention and facilitate entry into treatment if the person agrees to get help.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one’s body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

First time in methadone treatment clinic and this place has consistently gone above and beyond anything I expected. Was on suboxone at a different clinic then relapsed for past 2 years til I found this place. Everyone has been supportive and none of them cynical, I feel like it's actually possible to get lasting and helpful treatment here. I don't know what others expect or consider important, but they listen and have been clear with me so I can learn what to expect and work toward short and long term goals. Front desk staff has been especially amazing. Learned quickly not to rely on anecdotes and just talk to them directly

Yes I also love an hate thing w the stuff that brought my life to a constant relay race which put everyone in my life last, especially me. When moving to Lowell I went to this clinic an it hit me. I don't have to be on a cat an mouse chase every minute of everyday.Moving on those nurses at Habit OpCo. R remarkable and they do what ever I ask especially if you want help they will be there for you if u need a band aid or if you r freaking out about your dose not being enough. They do not practice social distancing inside. The place has a bad feeling, very tense. Like a fight is about to break out at any given time. There's new security guards just about every other week. Very high turn over rate for employees. The ones that are there look like they hate their job. It's a very sad sight.

I think that with the covid 19 situation the clinic at habbit optco should consider doing temperatures reading at the entrance. For everyone's safety .not every one is going to be honest if they do contract the virus.

AVOID this place at all costs! Derek the counselor needs to be fired, he s completely incompetent and has no idea how to do his job. It took him a month to send the wrong paperwork to the clinic I was trying to transfer to in Boston, and when I called him to fix the problem he discharged me from the clinic for no reason because he didn t know how to do the paperwork. He s going to be responsible for someone going out and using because they can t receive their medication because he can t file simple paperwork. Mohammed the clinical director knows this and let s him continue working there.
