When starting the recovery process, everything is overwhelming, scary, and difficult. Luckily I found myself in the right hands. The people at Chapel Hill were kind, unbelievably helpful, professional, and understanding. They made me feel comfortable and cared for me at a time where I needed kindness the most. I am immensely grateful to Chapel Hill for the part they played in my recovery. I cannot recommend this facility more.

Chapel Hill works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

insurance iconInsurance accepted

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care
At certain points in the recovery process, it's important to have support available 24/7. 24-hour clinical care offers a safe environment in which to recover from drug or alcohol addiction in peace, knowing medical detox and other treatment will happen with professionals on hand.

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program
A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a short-term form of intensive rehab, usually for those with acute symptoms that are hard to manage but don’t require 24-hour care. PHPs have structured programming (i.e. individual and/or group therapy), and usually meet 3-5 days a week for around 6 hours (i.e. 9am-3m). Some PHPs are residential (patients sleep on site) and some are not, so patients sleep at home. PHPs can last from 1-6 months, and some offer transportation and meals.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal. The length of stay at the detoxification program is determined according to the specific needs of the patient.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

Chapel Hill detox changed my life. I was reluctant to go because I ve had such bad experiences at other local facilities, but made the decision anyways after talking to some of their kind staff. Right away I felt comfortable. Plenty of people to talk to who have been in my shoes before. Very clean and comfortable rooms. I would recommend Chapel Hill to anybody looking for a fresh start. Everything I have today is because of the decision I made to walk through that gorgeous wooden doorway. Thank you for everything.

Chapel hill detox was very good for me! The staff there is amazing and very well connected in the recovery community to help with after care and serve as a consistent resource!Lastly, I want to make note of the attention you get on an individual basis. I have been to detox s before where your voice mattered less than a mail in ballot. It was helpful to have therapy sessions and feel like they actually cared!

Chapel Hill Detox was an absolute class act! It is more than a 5 start detox. I'm 42yrs old and this was my first time ever in a detox center. I am so very happy that i was placed in this detox. I went in 4-14-20 and i was there 21 days. the first tech i came into contact with set the pace for the rest of my stay.i didnt meet one single person (from the techs to the top) at Chapel Hill that didnt love what they did!i was treated with the most respect and compassion. very clean, very polite and caring staff, i had the best doctor in the world! Mo is the man! Joe Nester, Jake Skee i love you guys so damn much, you guys saved me! if i had to recommend a detox center to ANYONE it would be Chapel Hill!!

One of the most dangerous places I have seen when it comes to mental health. On a walk of the facility I pointed out many items that are potential threats to patients and the response was, I don't want to hear about this. Patients went hungry rather than eat the food that was catered. The only concern for the owners, is that they get their money, they think they deserve for poor services rendered, $3500.00 a day is what they bill. I observed the mental health services, poor, does not even come close to describing the program. You have been warned if you go to this place.

Response from the owner4 years ago
Every Patient's experience is very important to us. Every suggestion is considered and discussed in our daily meetings. Regarding the food, not a single patient has gone hungry at our facility. It doesn't happen often but when a meal isn't up to our standards, we replace it immediately with whatever our patients choose. We would never discuss a specific patient's experience, but suffice it to say that we're very surprised to hear this from you Jim. Hope you're doing well.
