CBH or as of now BGH has honestly save my daughter's life!! When she finally decided to get help CBH made her feel welcomed and they're all very understanding, not judgemental. Within 1 year my daughter got her driver's license back, got a job, her own place and she got back full custody of all three of her children!! Now she has a beautiful home, a nice SUV and money in not only her checking account but in her savings account as well!!! Had it not been for CBH I know in my heart that my grandchildren & I would've lost her.. So a Big thank you to all the nurses & staff for saving my daughter's life. A special thanks to my daughter's counselor Kristy for actually caring about my daughter, always being so helpful and even when you're busy you make time for Sarah. Thank you all so so much

Accepted Insurance

Center For Behavioral Health works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Clients engaged in a rehab aftercare program are in a more advanced stage of recovery. Many have already completed inpatient detox and/or rehab and have returned to their home, workplace, and community. Rehab aftercare services are designed to support clients' recovery over the long term and typically include a broad portfolio of resources, such as peer coaching and 12 step program induction. Clients may collaborate with their case manager and care team to create their care plan.
12-step icon12-Step
Persons engaged in a 12 step program regularly attend group meetings in their communities, though online sessions are becoming increasingly popular. 12 step recovery is rooted in spiritual principles that enable participants to address the root causes of addiction and to foster self-awareness, compassion, acceptance, and accountability. Peer sponsors support participants as they work through the steps of recovery. Most programs are non-denominational, but specialized formats, including the faith-based Celebrate Recovery! format, are available.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Choosing a drug rehab in South Carolina helps you overcome drug dependency, learn how to manage cravings, and obtain the tools needed to prevent relapse. This is accomplished through individualized treatment that addresses a full spectrum of physical, social, and emotional needs.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

The main basis of cognitive behavioral therapy in South Carolina is that all your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected. Therefore, the therapist will help you change your thoughts, which will lead to different emotions and actions.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Men and women in South Carolina undergoing individual therapy work closely with their therapist to address the personal challenges and lifestyle changes that can help address addiction triggers. You have a unique situation and your therapist will spend time helping you develop healthy coping strategies so you can work toward achieving and maintaining sobriety.

There are four fundamental processes to motivational interviewing in South Carolina. Engaging involves careful listening to understand the client's perspective. Focusing involves reaching an agreement on the purpose of the treatment. Evoking is the process of exploring the client's ideas and motivations. Planning explores how the client can make changes.

They have improved so much that there are hardly any waiting times anymore. Nurses, receptionists, and counselors are great and treat you with respect all the time. I know it may be a cliche, but this place seriously helped me saved my life.

I have been going here for a year and have found sobriety with this place combined with other changes in my life. The nurses are always nice to me and the one on one with my counselor has helped a lot. If you call ahead if you are going to be late they will give you some time to get there. Saturdays are crowded as well so get there early. Im really thankful for this clinic and believe that they are caring loving professionals and people.

Been going to this clinic for years and the staff and nurses are wonderful. Really great people that are truly there to help you in a time of need. The only downside of going to this clinic is all the people that constantly ask for money, cigarettes, or whatever else that they need at that time. I will say that it is not all the time that this happens but there are certain weeks that it can be everyday.Thats the only part that gets very very annoying. Especially when your just trying to get in and out of there quick. There are a couple of people that tend to hangout in the parking lot and will literally come up and knock on your window. ( never the people that actually go to the clinic )Other than that if you need help, then this is the staff and nurses that will be there to help you any way possible.

I had a college assignment to complete that relates to the accommodation that takes place at this facility. Counselor LW was very hospitable in supplying information. She has a heart for the people she serves.

The nurses, counselors and pharmacist are all wonderful here. I have been in treatment for quite sometime and I have never even thought of going back to using drugs again. Everyone is so helpful here and very caring. With as much patients that they have, trust me it's alot of us, they make each and everyone of us feel as though we are their only patient. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful souls on my team. Nurse Christina is an absolute angel sent from heaven and my counselor Ms.Virgina is the sweetest most beautiful person I think I've ever met. If it wasn't from them I would have lost my children a long time ago. I am very grateful to have them in my life. Thank you all so much for everything you do and have done!!!

I have been going here for well over a year! It has been the best decision of my life. If you want to get clean, stop thinking about it, and DO IT! I went to college after going here, start my externship this month in medical, I have had some of the best paying jobs since, held my own car and my own home since, and even started going back to church! Became a better full time mother and better friend, daughter, sister, aunt, and person all around. You may not think addiction ruins you but if you are reading this than you probably are already at the bottom! I love me now. It wasn't easy. I lost friends, family, relationships along the way and even faced with a tragic loss and I stayed coming back! This program, the STAFF, all of it is amazing. The nurses are wonderful and the counselors are pretty great too! Yes, it is early in the morning and the 24 hours before is hard but nothing compared to a comedown or a withdraw of opiates. Idk about herion but I know once you start injecting pills it's time to get your life back in your OWN control! This place saved my life and I will FOREVER be thankful for helping me be me again. Saving my children from a life of addiction through their mommy. Allowing me to become my fullest potential! Thank you Center For Behavioral Health you saved me, my kids, and my family!! Thank you!
