As a healthcare organization, Aris Clinic is not able to reply to any specific concerns publicly. What we can say is that all concerns are welcome to be addressed by calling our main line and asking for our General Manager. We have been helping kids and families since 2011. Mental health is a complicated and challenging area of practice. We do our best to meet each family where they are at and deliver the best care possible despite many challenging circumstances. Overwhelmingly our success stories do not want to share their personal health information publicly through an online review, and instead we receive numerous messages of gratitude in the form of baked goods and heartfelt cards to our staff. If you are in need of mental health care, please take the time to come see us in person and decide for yourself if our services and approach are right for you. If cost is ever a concern, we do have a financial assistance application available as well.

This clinic is such an amazing place. They do everything they can in their power to help children & adolescents grow and overcome whatever mental illness they may be struggling with. As an intern there last summer, I got to witness first hand how kind, empathetic, and life-changing this staff is. They were so welcoming to me, and to every child that walked through those doors. Watching the therapists at Aris Clinic do their work has been my main motivation for the future. I can only hope to be half the therapist that the ones at Aris are one day!

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

I am not one to bad mouth or leave bad reviews unless the experience was extremely poor. Needless to say I was NOT impressed with this clinic at all... they tried pressuring me into putting my daughter on a med I wasn't comfortable with and then when we decided not to they told us she couldn't stay. In addition to that when they took her blood pressure they squeezed the cuff so tight it bruised her arm.I tried more than a few times to talk with Dr Kennedy however I was never able to. Her employees made it seem like her time was so important that she couldn't take a few minutes out to talk with the parent and figure out a possible different solution. I'm happy for anyone that has had a positive experience with this clinic. I'm sad to say we did not. I pray that the children that have gone or will go there get better treatment than my daughter did.

The psychiatrist has horrible judgement. You meet with her once a week for maybe 5 minutes before she diagnoses you or prescribed medications and she takes as many shortcuts as she can. She would rather prescribe a child with antipsychotics that accurately diagnose them even if she knows that they have horrible side effects. I came out much worse than I was when I was admitted. Do not send your child here.

This clinic is a sorry excuse for mental health care. The staff are poorly trained and it is a wonder to me what could possibly make these people qualified. To make things worse, there is a wide range of age groups at Aris, which makes it impossible to treat patients appropriately according to their age. The mental health issues that small children suffer from and the mental health issues adolescents suffer from are completely different. A seventeen year old with social anxiety shouldn't have to listen to a five year old's screaming and crying all day long, and a seven year old child suffering from trauma from abuse shouldn't have to watch as angered teenagers swear at the staff, begging for a cigarette or a blunt to dull the pain of being in such a despicable institution. The actions taken against 'insubordinate' patients are in nearly every circumstance unjust and unprofessional, and the staff are incapable of handling even the mildest of cases without calling the authorities for help. Patients there are over medicated and under cared-for. My associate who was at one time a patient at Aris clinic was put though far more than necessary in order to cure her of her condition, and her condition has only deteriorated since she went there. But by far the worst thing about Aris clinic is one staff member in particular. Chad Cartier, the 'Director of Psychotherapy' whatever that means, is a terrible man with terrible judgement, a man who thinks it's better to send someone directly to a psych ward when they have a mental breakdown rather than allow them to talk it through with a therapist they trust. He is disrespectful, unprofessional and entirely repulsive. Please, for your own sake, do not choose Aris for you or your child. It will only do them harm.

We are so grateful for the investment everyone at Aris made in not just our child but our entire family. The staff was caring, involved, concerned and helped greatly...even after discharge. Thank you!!!

As an ARIS technology partner, I ve had the pleasure of visiting with the clinic almost monthly over the past few years. Every time I go back, I m reminded of how much I enjoy working with the staff at the facility. Of course, the facility is beautiful, set in a gorgeous location and very well maintained. But the heart of the practice is its wonderful, warm staff, who care about everything they work on and take personal pride in their results.
