Accepted Insurance

Adolescent Substance Abuse Programs (ASAP) works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
TRIP (Total Recovery In Progress) is an intensive outpatient treatment program designed for teens and their families when substance use has begun to interfere with their lives. Intensive outpatient programs are by far the most popular option for people struggling with substance use problems. High-quality IOP programs are intense, effective, and reduce costs associated with treatments. Recovery takes more than just abstinence from use: it’s a process of rebuilding. The TRIP program utilizes a range of interventions to help teens achieve these goals. The TRIP program meets for 3 days each week for 3 hours per day. A typical course of treatment lasts approximately 24 sessions.
12-step icon12-Step
12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Upon graduation from TRIP, each client and family are eligible for Continuing Care. This weekly group is semi-structured around topics that: strengthen ongoing recovery, avoid a return to substance use, teach coping strategies, develop social skills, and promote emotional regulation. With support from the ASAP staff, participants are encouraged to discuss issues and challenges they are facing in order to advance their recovery journey. In keeping with ASAP’s commitment to whole family healing, parents are invited to attend the first group each month with their child.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Ohio provides comprehensive treatment to address the physical and psychological needs of those struggling with substance use disorders. This may involve inpatient and/or outpatient care.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

The biggest factor that makes group therapy a first-line treatment is the peer feedback that does not occur in individual therapy. Although teens often respond to the interventions provided to them by therapists, the modeling that occurs in group treatment offers significant benefit. Peer interaction helps the adolescent to recognize the ways that drugs and/or alcohol have controlled their thoughts, ideas, and behaviors.

Individual therapy is a partnership between the client and the therapist. Teens work with a trained ASAP professional to explore and identify problem behaviors, establish goals for change, and work toward completing these goals. Therapy is a responsive service that is adapted to the changing needs of the client. Through specific interventions, therapy helps clients to become more skilled at managing life stressors without turning to drug and/or alcohol use.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

ASAP is an amazing facility. The staff is outstanding and communicate with the families often. They treat the teen in need as a whole instead of focusing on only one issue. I love the support given to the families because it helps to know you re not alone in the battle to help your child. Speaking with the other parents during group helps with learning different ways to support your child. Tools are taught to teach coping skills that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend ASAP to anyone with a teen struggling with addiction and mental illness!

I have been looking for a long time for a program to help my daughter with her emotional regulation. After years of searching, I found this program. I am happy to say that it has changed our lives .If you were looking for top notch psychiatrist, and counselors that will work with you to help your child reach a better quality of life, look no further. I cannot say enough good things about this place. What I will say is that my daughter would not be where she is today had do we not found this program. Not only did my daughter learn a lot, but I did as well. I was also able to get a lot of support from the Parent group. if I could give this place seven stars I would.

Clarity/ASAP has been nothing short of life-changing, both for our teen and our family. The patience and compassion demonstrated by the clinicians has been extraordinary, and (seemingly) in exhaust able.Clarity's approach is Time-intensive, but far more rewarding than other DBT groups we have been involved with. I cannot recommend them enough.

Drug addiction took a tremendous toll on my family. ASAP was loving, understanding, nurturing and extremely knowledgeable in the area of substance abuse. ASAP helps the entire family. There were heart to heart discussions among the teens & therapist as well as helpful conversations among parents and counselors. Recovery is not easy and will take much will power and self discipline. ASAP helped my son realize that recovery looks good on him and provided ways for my family to help him continue down the road of successful recovery. Amazing environment!

My family was broken and I had no idea how to help my son. Traditional one-on-one counseling, groundings, interventions, hospitalization did not work. Finally, we were referred to ASAP. My son was VERY reluctant and resistant to group therapy, but we made it a priority and mandatory for him to go. A few weeks in, I was ready to raise the surrender flag once again and then something clicked! His drug screen came back negative, he started talking and thinking and feeling again. It was the combination of being with other teens just like him dealing with the exact same struggles and the amazing staff who don t just lecture but have lived it. This program is a total family rehab. This is exactly what he and we needed and what saved my family. Not only has my son completed the program, but he made a choice on his own to continue in the after- care program. This program works!
