I ve never had such a positive experience with a therapist. I feel so listened to and cared about by my therapist, my med tech, and even the receptionists.

The practitioners here make up stories In their documents, my child claims were never said by her. The office also refuses to give us our records. So many privacy violations as one practitioner once disclosed diagnosis of other children who were in group therapy with one of my kids to me. One of the evaluators told.me.of my child.who is now diagnosed ASD that " everyone is a little autistic " . This place is an absolute joke, they don't want to actually help, they only create problems for their clients to continue their government funding

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Poor communication. My child has had two councilors from here. One mostly wanted to talk about her own life experiences instead of listen. The second one we had high hopes for, my child really liked her and felt comfortable with. After a few visits she started canceling her appointments last minute or wouldn't even be there when my child arrived, wanted to end therapy before my child is ready even when the school has suggested she continue. My child also informed me that she would cut visits short because she had to go pick up her son or would be texting her son throughout the visit. Since the school has requested more counseling she has had two appointments both canceled and no follow up since the last one. MY CHILD STILL NEEDS COUNSILING! How do you think this makes a person feel especially in times of depression?

My children's counselor is amazing. My kids actually want to go talk about their past traumas. We have never had someone my kids wanted to talk to. My son is growing and starting to open up more. Thank you B.M.
