outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Wyoming Recovery's program consists of psychotherapy group, step and group process, and didactic and specialized educational groups such as spirituality, anger management, cognitive behavioral therapy, stages of change, smoking cessation, grief, pain management and MD group.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Instensive Outpatient programs are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

12-step icon12-Step

12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Heart icon Treatment

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

The programs offered at drug rehab in Wyoming address the underlying issues of addiction, with the goal being to get to the root of the problem. By learning to manage issues without substance use, you are empowered to live a healthy, drug-free life.

check iconDual Diagnosis

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

substance-abuse iconSubstance Abuse

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

inpatient-file iconCognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

intervention iconGroup Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

desert iconMotivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing helps you recognize the importance of change and your capacity to make change. It empowers you to change rather than providing warnings or directions to change. This method is often used in the treatment of substance use disorder.

house-medical iconTrauma Therapy

Trauma therapy allows you to regain control over your life and gain a greater sense of safety and Trust in your environment. Within a safe and supportive space, your therapist helps you understand your responses and process the emotional and physical effects of trauma.

family iconFamily Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation Family sessions are an important part of Wyoming Recovery’s program. They feel that the family of the addict/alcoholic has been strongly affected by the illness, and as a part of their services, they provide family centered therapy.

nicotine iconNicotine Replacement Therapy

Several types of nicotine replacement therapy have been approved by the FDA. Nicotine patches, gum, and lozenges each contain nicotine, without the other harmful chemicals found in cigarettes. The prescription pills bupropion and varenicline decrease cravings and withdrawal symptoms.

9 days after checking in I was asked to leave the facility due to insurance issues. 9 days prior I was told I was covered at almost 100% upon further investigation on my part it appears my leaving was due to negligents on the nurse and front office staff who did not comply with my insurance policies. Required paperwork was never submitted to insurance by the office staff. It was a holiday weekend and they could not be bothered by coming into work for 4 consecutive days to comply with my insurance. My 9th day I was called in the nurses office at 3:20pm and was told I only could stay until 5 pm. Was offered a 9am-9am 7 days a week program at $150 a week. I do not live in Casper and getting a ride to and from and a place to sleep as well as money for meals was not in the cards for me. She also stated they had exhausted all options unless I wanted to pay cash of an ungodly amount that day. Which was just not an option for me. My insurance has assured me in writing I am covered at 100% for 90 days a calendar year. I would like to add the tec s Martha, Troy,Jeramy,Jesse, Dana, Carlene were absolutely wonderful as well as the therapists. I was extremely sad to leave. Had I not been treated so poorly I would have liked to return. No one will accept or admit a mistake was made, I was talked down to and treated unfairly in addition too poor communication and laziness and for those reasons I have to leave this review. It s seems new front office staff is desperately needed at this point.

This place is great. I have been through several other treatment programs in the past and this by far is the best. The staff is great, especially Kristi and Brittany. Those two are an asset to the the establishment and I hope they are viewed as such by the facility. They help you get to the root of the issues that are preventing you from living a healthy productive life. They not only give you the tools to help you manage the issues, but they also are there to work through them with you. They don't give up on you and are there through every step of the recovery process and beyond. They helped me see that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that I am worthy and deserving of a happy drug free life. If it wasn't for Wyoming Recovery and Kristi and Brittany, I don't think I would be here writing this review. I would more than likely have become a casualty of my drug use.I am forever grateful
