My mother was placed here for rehabilitation services after a fall.Nurses would average 5 to 15 minutes between a call. The facilities are old and run down. The physical therapy people were good, but my mother needed more than 1 hour a day of physical therapy. All in all, it was a terrible experience. You know, you're in trouble when they bring the beverage cart before lunch and dinner. And your choice is ice tea, water or Kool aid.....

Therapy does not happen on a regular basis! In fact, my friend has had only 1 visit from any kind of therapist. Even as a fall risk, she is expected to walk the hall by herself!! She s still not comfortable getting out of bed by herself. She still experiencing weakness in her legs and doesn t trust herself to get to the toilet which is shared by her roommate and the people next door,. The only way to know if someone is using it is to check to see if the door is locked from their side. And, they sometimes forget to unlock the door so no one can get in without alerting someone to assist. The other "resident" is not necessarily capable of correcting the situation.Attempting to alert the staff is difficult at best. Because of the lack of response to the light/buzzer , I have encouraged my friend and her roommate to try and get a response by using both their little red buttons simultaneously. There is no intercom so they must wait until someone eventually arrives to ask for anything. Essentially the patient resident is on her own. This not the level of care or therapy expected or sought for $7000 (yes, seven thousand dollars) a month!!!!I do not recommend trying this establishment for even basic, remedial care!!!!! They do deliver the prescribed medications and 3 meals a day ..linen changes and 2 showers a week. All that for only $7000 a month. Besides harassing the "resident" for payment, they also expect to be paid $10,000 in advance ($10,000!!!!) There is no contract and no specific things (therapy) they have done nor any they re expected to do. I have read the stack of paper copies they left in the top drawer where her chargers, connections and cords are attached for her tv, phone and computer .none of which she uses. Well, they told her the tv was broken and stuck the remote on top. She can t reach the drawers. It took me a month to accidentally find them.Do NOT put anyone you care about in this facility!!!!!!! I can t be more emphatic. I believe this may not only a safety issue but LIFE and DEATH decision!!!!! Please do NOT place anyone here!!!!!!!!!!

Accepted Insurance

Valley Health Care and Rehabilitation Center works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Arizona is the process of treating individuals who are dependent on a particular addictive drug. Because addiction is complex, this treatment typically includes a variety of interventions that address the many physical and emotional issues involved.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Don t let a loved go here. My sister was neglected from the moment she arrived. I tried calling the front desk all day on the Saturday after she arrived. No one answered the phone all day and in the evening. All I wanted was to hear how she was doing. She died the next day. St Joseph hospital sent her there to rehab and she never should have gone.

The place has gone down hill with the current employees. The staff themselves manifest situations out of delusions.. Cause problems for no reason,

Nobody will answer the phone to get an update on a patient. I had to call the police to have a welfare check for my husband. I still can not get anyone to answer the phone as of today. This is completely unacceptable for a health care company.

PSRC is a great facility. Do they have their problems? Of course, they do, just like every facility, but they are always looking for ways to become better. The administration and staff truly care about their residents, and they greatly desire to give them the best care possible. Keep up the great work, PSRC!!!

I have been interacting with Pueblo Springs for over a year and have found that the therapy team do a fantastic job of delivering high level treatments and truly care about improving patient function and independent prior to discharge. The case management team are knowledgeable and always happy to help with any questions or concerns I have. I would recommend this facility.
