About Treatment Center of Panama City

Treatment Center of Panama City is an outpatient opioid addiction recovery facility located in Panama City, Florida. They specialize in medication assisted treatment using Methadone and Buprenorphine. These FDA approved medications are employed in opioid dependence treatment to help minimize withdrawal symptoms and curb cravings. Methadone is usually employed in moderate to severe cases of opioid addiction, while Buprenorphine is often used in mild to moderate cases.

Typically, you’ll undergo clinical evaluation and intake assessment before treatment to help their care team determine the severity of your conditions and craft a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique situation. They provide medication therapy in conjunction with individual and group counseling. The counseling sessions help you uncover and address the underlying cause of your opioid addiction, develop effective coping strategies to navigate the triggers and support long term recovery by building skills for a healthier lifestyle. In addition, it aids relapse prevention by reinforcing healthy habits and strengthening relationships.

Upon completing treatment, they offer comprehensive transition planning and ongoing aftercare support to help you maintain your progress and stay on track. The facility also provides various addiction related services, including medication management, crisis intervention, physical examination, blood analysis, urinalysis and pregnancy testing. Additionally, they offer guest dosing services for individuals receiving Methadone treatment while traveling or temporarily away from their home clinic.

What stands out in this facility is the simplicity of their offering and how easily you can access these services. You can book appointments confidently, knowing that Methadone maintenance treatment is their specialty and they’re fully equipped to provide the focused care you need. Telehealth services are also available for added flexibility. In addition, the facility accepts multiple insurance options, including Medicare, Florida Medicaid, Ambetter and Sunshine Health. Past clients seem to have had mixed experiences with this facility; while some praise the supportive staff and consider them a great place, others significantly criticize the services they provide.

Accepted Insurance

Treatment Center of Panama City works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Rehab aftercare programs are a collection of highly individualized services designed to promote long-term recovery. These services evolve as your needs change. Case managers and recovery teams typically begin formulating the rehab aftercare service plan early in the recovery process to facilitate your reintegration back into the home, workplace, and community.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
If a person with a substance use disorder continually denies their problem or refuses to get treatment, a drug intervention in Florida may be necessary. Intervention services can help mediate the intervention by providing an addiction expert. This professional can de-escalate situations and facilitate a healthier discussion between the individual and their loved ones. Specialists can also help families handle issues they don't know how to navigate on their own.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Postpartum Program
The postpartum period is a sensitive time, especially for women in addiction recovery. Rehabs with specialized programs for new mothers will offer compassionate, personalized care to meet each client's needs as they transition from pregnancy to this season of life. Care teams may include obstetricians, pediatricians, and social workers working collaboratively to give women, children, and families a healthy future.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I love this place. The only thing I can speak negatively on about it is that they bring every patient down on their meds. However the injections they do here is top notch. Always a lot of patients here too but they do move very quickly. Staff is always friendly.
