Idk where to start. I won't be coming here anymore because they except me to come once a week for a "personal goal" intake. I don't have time to take once a week off to do their intake system goal thing. So they said I can't keep seeing my psychiatrist anymore. I offered to come in every other week but no that's not good enough. They also can't keep staff and therapist.i have been without therapy for over 6 months and they still haven't gotten one for me.Not to mention when you get psych meds you have to call back and forth to the pharmacy and to your provider every single month to make sure you get your meds. I had another friend that went here and had a terrible experience with the pyschiatrist that recently got fired too.I was with you guys for 2 years and this is how you treat your patients making me come in once a week for a unnecessary appointment.

I do not trust them with my mental health and will never recommend people use Transitions as a tool/resource. These people are clueless and cannot be trusted..... Seek help somewhere else before these people make your life worse.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
When participating in an inpatient rehab program, you'll reside at the treatment center for the duration of the program. Your housing and meals are provided, allowing you to focus on your recovery without outside triggers, stressors, and other distractions. You'll receive daily addiction counseling, drawing on various psychotherapeutic approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing. Many inpatient drug rehabs also offer complementary holistic therapies, such as yoga, meditation, or animal therapy, and creative arts therapy.
partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program
As a flexible option, a partial hospitalization program (PHP) is tailored for those who don't require 24-hour care. PHP treatment can include daily therapeutic sessions and services such as relapse prevention and medication management. Based on your needs, PHP treatment duration can average 90 days and require a minimum of 20 hours of commitment weekly. While a partial hospitalization program typically requires a commute, telehealth may be available. PHP treatment costs can vary but are often covered by most insurance.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Trauma therapy provides you with a safe and supportive environment so you can address a traumatic experience. Your therapist helps guide you to understand your emotional, mental, and physical responses while developing healthier coping skills. This helps to improve your emotional resilience and ability to function in the community.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Life skills training in Illinois gives you the tools you need to meet daily demands. These fall into three main categories: personal skills, interpersonal skills, and cognitive skills. While in rehab, you'll work on each of these areas as part of your recovery treatment.

I gave this space a one star review because they didn t tell me over the phone that in order to see a psychiatrist you have to give a urine test I ve been seeing psychiatrists since I was in kindergarten And I m 46 now & have never had to give a P test in order to get help I reached out to the space as a customer, not any kind of court mandate nor ticket, nothing I don t do illicit drugs or whatever she asked me, but I think asking me to have a pee test in order to get mental, when I m so depressed I can barley leave my home, and am fully insured is completely ridiculous I have never ever had a psychiatrist Ask me to give a P test ever and I think it s a ridiculous violation of my rights my mother is seeing a psychiatrist and she doesn t have to give a P test, so what do I need to do? put a cross on and look like her in order for someone to not think I m on drugs? If you want to get treated like a criminal, even when you re not one, then sure go to this space and good luck to you.

Was going good until they lost their psychiatrist. Was on medication that was very much helpful. I got a job, my depression was on the decline, things were looking up. Then they hired some random guy from Florida. I was promised no changes would be made to my medication, the first thing the guy did was change the medications. Without a ln appointment on top of that. They then let him go and hired an ex Robert young psych. She prescribed a less effective version of the med that was working, but due to a disagreement and cancelation or an appoinement, then turned around and canceled the prescription out of spite. This cost me my $21 hr job as I no longer had the attention span to carry out the tasks I was being given. Really disappointed. Things were going well, but when psyc dr.s are allowed to cancel or change medications based on person reasons instead of cold hard evidence and witnesses it makes for a bad look.
