Extremely high turnover rate makes it difficult for patient to build a rapport with counselor/case manager. Since the new practice manager has taken over the last few months have been horrible. He called me to do a "Quality Assurance" check on one of the counselors and one of the case managers. He asked literally 2 questions about the counselor and then interrogated me the rest of the 30 min phone call about the case manager that had been with my family for 2 years and literally saved my daughter s life, then not long after this phone call she was gone. I would consider her a major loss not only to my family but also to this company. When he called me the second time because I had notified them that I wasn't going to utilize the case management services for possibly 3 of my children I told him how I felt about him interrogating me the first phone call and about this case manager being gone and he told me that this is a business, which it true to him, but to me this is my child's LIFE. Also, while on the phone (not sure if it was the first or second call) I felt like he continuously tried to get me to say something bad about this case manager until I finally told him that if that was his goal it wasn't going to happen because she was the only person my daughter trusted in the most difficult time of her life thus far. I am not one bit pleased with the current management because I don't feel that he has the patient s best interest at heart he only looks at the practice from the money/business aspect. I also informed him that if my daughters current counselor ends up not employed there any longer that I will pull my 5 children from their practice and find services elsewhere.

Accepted Insurance

Pinnacle Point Behavioral Healthcare System works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Clients undergoing treatment at an inpatient rehab receive extensive therapeutic support through daily addiction counseling and recovery-focused services. These often include addiction education and life skills training. Many inpatient facilities also offer evidence-based holistic therapies, such as massage, yoga, acupuncture, creative arts therapy, and experiential therapy. Inpatient care is typically best suited for clients who recently completed detox, are in early recovery, or at a heightened risk of relapse.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.

Child Program
The providers who specialize in the children's rehab space understand the specialized needs that this population faces. Child programs may also address the needs of youth experiencing substance abuse in the home, including a parent's or sibling's addiction.

Program For Men

Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

Program For Women

These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

Developed in the 1970s, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a type of psychotherapy based in cognitive behavior therapy. DBT is designed specifically to help people who experience emotions intensely. It is used to treat substance use disorder, anxiety, and depression, among other mental health disorders.

Do NOT take your kids here. We have had nothing but issues since we started going here. They have changed my child s therapist 3 times after she gets to know them well enough that she s comfortable with them. She just got a new therapist and had me email a consent form for her to see my child at the school. She told me she received it and would see my child the next week and a month past and my child still hadn t seen her. I tried emailing, texting, and calling the therapist and she would not respond. Now I have received a letter in the mail that states they are discontinuing services with my child because she didn t receive my signed consent form.

Children and young adults being taken advantage of in this place 2 of my grandchildren dropped after the age of 18 I firmly asked them if she would be dropped like they did my grandson and they just did it I would not consider this place if your child has severe emotional problems

They will put your child through multiple therapists and case managers all of which seem to only be there to get a check an not to help or care for your child. As soon as your child bonds with a therapist they leave or switch them to a new one. They constantly tell you their case load is too high.
