Sunrise Detox Lake Worth

About Sunrise Detox Palm Beach

Sunrise Detox Lake Worth is an alcohol and drug detox center for adults in Lake Worth, Florida. Here, you can find inpatient care to help you remove harmful substances from your body in a safe, supervised way. They offer medically directed detox along with individual therapy and peer support groups to provide a complete continuum of care. You can pay for your treatment on your own or through your private insurance plan.

Detoxing on your own can be very dangerous and even deadly. This can be a painful and difficult experience, but it’s not an impossible one. It’s best to take this step in a facility that can provide round the clock monitoring and care, like this one. Here, you’ll become a full time resident while you’re undergoing this process. Your care team will keep a close eye on your health, administering medications as necessary to ease your pain, minimize your symptoms, and control your cravings.

Something I like about this facility is how much they made it feel like a real home. You’ll have a semi-private bedroom and bathroom and there’s even a TV in your room. The residence also features a patio, group gathering spot, and multiple conversation areas where you can hang out and connect with others.

Along with medication, they also offer one on one and group therapy sessions to help you explore more about the disease of addiction. Your therapists can also help you identify your triggers, work through any underlying issues, and develop healthy coping skills. Before you leave, they’ll create an aftercare plan to connect you with other local resources for ongoing support.

One former client compares this facility to living in a very nice home while also receiving life changing treatment. Several clients note that the chef prepared meals are a special perk of the program.

Accepted Insurance

Sunrise Detox Palm Beach works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Rehab aftercare programs are a collection of highly individualized services designed to promote long-term recovery. These services evolve as your needs change. Case managers and recovery teams typically begin formulating the rehab aftercare service plan early in the recovery process to facilitate your reintegration back into the home, workplace, and community.
12-step icon12-Step
12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
A sober living home in Florida often serves as a transitional residence for individuals coming out of inpatient rehab. This helps those in recovery avoid isolation that can sometimes happen after they return home from treatment. It offers a supportive environment where they can practice skills learned in rehab. Offering a combination of structure and freedom, men's or women's sober living is a good stepping stone to independent life in recovery.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
If a person with a substance use disorder continually denies their problem or refuses to get treatment, a drug intervention in Florida may be necessary. Intervention services can help mediate the intervention by providing an addiction expert. This professional can de-escalate situations and facilitate a healthier discussion between the individual and their loved ones. Specialists can also help families handle issues they don't know how to navigate on their own.
24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care
24-hour clinical care in Florida is an essential part of treatment, particularly with medical detox. Withdrawal symptoms can be severe, and supervised detox provides around the clock access to medical professionals who can adminsiter proper medications and treatment to address these symptoms and step in should an emergency occur. This intensive clinical care will help curb the withdrawal effects, minimize substance dependence, and prepare you for the next step of treatment.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
seniors-program thumbnail image
Seniors Program
Nearly one million adults age 65 and older live with a substance use disorder. Treatment providers who specialize in senior care understand the social, psychological, and physical effects of aging and how they relate to recovery. They can help clients address particular challenges and risks they may face as they get older such as overdosing and medication interactions and dependencies.
postpartum-program thumbnail image
Postpartum Program
The postpartum period is a sensitive time, especially for women in addiction recovery. Rehabs with specialized programs for new mothers will offer compassionate, personalized care to meet each client's needs as they transition from pregnancy to this season of life. Care teams may include obstetricians, pediatricians, and social workers working collaboratively to give women, children, and families a healthy future.

Clinical Services

Therapists who apply cognitive behavioral therapy in Florida believe patient thoughts and behaviors are closely linked. They use this treatment method to help clients change their thought patterns so they can also change behaviors and break free from substance abuse.

Dialectical behavior therapy in Florida consists of individual therapy and group instruction. This structured program is a form of psychotherapy that incorporates the development of skills for managing emotions and relationships.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a clinical approach to helping people with substance abuse issues and other conditions shift behavior in positive ways. It is more goal-oriented than traditional psychotherapy, as MI counselors directly attempt to get clients to consider making behavioral change (rather than wait for them to come to conclusions themselves). Its primary purpose is to resolve ambivalence and help clients become able to make healthy choices freely.

During family therapy sessions, you navigate the complexities of addiction and are provided tools to help improve communication and resolve conflicts. When you work together, families can better support their loved one's recovery and restore balance and harmony within the household.

Life skills are the core skills you need for daily success. They can include self care, stress management, daily routines, and emotion control. Rehab treatment includes the development of these skills so you have the tools you need for long term recovery.

Substance abuse creates biochemical imbalances in your body and brain. By implementing dietary changes, you can restore that balance. This is the goal of nutrition therapy in Florida. You'll gain an understanding of what nutrients your body needs and learn best self care practices.

Recreational therapy helps you recover from addiction by giving you structured activities that promote your physical health and mental well being. These activities could range from sports and fitness to creative arts and provide a constructive outlet for your emotions and stress.

Types of creative arts therapy in Florida include playing music, writing poetry, journaling, dancing, painting, and sculpting. These expressive activities can help you process emotions and work through challenges with the guidance of a creative arts therapist.

Tonight dealt with the same rude admin I did before my last horrific stay. And sorry SR prob wouldn t have complained if he was not so rude.He admitted my last stay had no ice, unclean water and no sewage on an entire floor. I ve been to SR more than once & in different states. Last stay as mentioned above not great, but usually GREAT nursing and therapists, sad that this admin employee messed all that up for them, b/c even if I was going to oversee the last stay (read above & hard to get a good start back to sobriety after, also dipping into my retirement ), I was wanting info on staying long term but this specific employee has been detrimental to my last stay and even any further. I ve had other bad experiences, but never would have complained if it wasn t for this employee in admin you should be happy I m not mentioning your name, but SR review your recordings. We as adicts/alcoholics need the most support esp by past clients do better. PS the last one I went to was FT. Laud. that had all these issues.I will say I loved the staff there, too bad you can t get past the first call.

Hi Barbara, Please give us a call directly so we can get this addressed ASAP. You are right; everyone deserves respect no matter what they are going through in their life, and if you experienced anything less than that, we apologize and will handle it accordingly.

If you are looking for nothing more then 3 meals a day, a bed, and a cold shower..then this place is for you. Otherwise, I would not suggest it. Facility ran very poorly, and nobody seems to know what's going on. You are obligated to go to whichever treatment center they choose for you....and you have no say. This facility has so much potential if the owners would care more about the patients as opposed to being apart of the Florida shuffle.

Response from the owner4 months ago
Hi Tasha! Thank you for your feedback. We think it's important for you to know we don't and can't force anyone to go anywhere. We don't participate in the "Florida shuffle" whatsoever and never have. Nor do we work with other locations that do. We hope you're doing well.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I forgot the 2 nurses names who did intake with me, but I could tell and smell one of them was drunk and he said he was a recovering alcoholic so I knew that was the case. Don t even believe they were nurses. It was a red flag as soon as I walked in. Saw a roach within 5 minutes. The person who asked me all these questions about my info seemed like she didn t want to be there and extremely lazy. Nurse or whatever she is with the buzzcut ponytail was rude during the inspection. Told them I was a victim of SA. Her and the other women took me into the bathroom and told me to squat, spread, and cough 3 times which I understand as I ve been to another rehab before. They did not make sure I was comfortable at all through the whole process like the other rehab did. I felt completely non heard and the one with the buzz cut ponytail and tattoos told me in a rude way you re hiding something because apparently I didn t squat far enough for them and cough like my lungs depended on it. I actually started to cry because of how they were speaking to me and basically said to myself that this is the not right place. They told me to get out, basically through my stuff out the door, a mid 20 s female, outside in a drug ridden area, alone at 12 at night. I fell as I m walking away from the property because one of my bags was quite heavy. The nurse with the buzzcut came over, didn t even offer to help me up (a decent person would do) and set my medication on the ground next to me like here you go and then told me to get off the property or they were gonna call the police in 30 seconds just because I wanted to be searched by compassionate understanding women as they have at other rehabs. If you want a rude staff who are on their phones most of the time, vape on the clock, do not care, and seem totally experienced this is the place for you. Was only there probably a total of 30 minutes and I m so so happy I did not stay. You re not cared for here, just a paycheck. Go elsewhere if you want to be treated like a human being.

Response from the owner7 months ago
Halen, Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry you fell over and hope you are alright. Under no circumstances do medications leave the nursing station so it is an impossibility that they would have been rudely placed on the floor next to you following your fall. We'd like to discuss these instances with you directly as our account would differ greatly. Feel free to call us anytime at 888-443-3869 to discuss your stay. We wish you the best!

My son came to this detox place to get admitted but they were taking their sweet time to admit him. He has been waiting for over 5 hours in and out the waiting room. The female nurse Mina doesn t care about the patients and treats them unfair. Why work in a recovery place when you re just making the patient worse and worse. She s also in recovery and the fact that he mistreats the patient wrong isn t right. What kind of place is this. They told my son he wasn t a patient yet so they threw all his stuff in the dumpster but 2 hours ago they were searching it. This place just wants your money. They don t care about your love ones. They are just a number to them and finding any way for you to pay more. Molly and Mina should get penalized for their actions. Nurses are supposed to help others And treat them with respect when said these two nurses had attitude and mistreated my son. It s sad to see humanity treat the ones in need badly. Don t recommend this place unless you like being abused

Response from the owner1 year ago
First and foremost, we would like to clarify that patient safety, well-being, and recovery are our top priorities. Although we don t have a staff member who goes by Mina, it is disheartening to hear that you felt your son was treated unfairly and without care. We strive to maintain a supportive and nurturing environment for all individuals seeking treatment, and we will investigate this matter thoroughly to ensure that our staff adheres to the highest standards of professionalism and empathy. Regarding the disposal of your son's belongings, there seems to be a grave misunderstanding there, and we would love the opportunity to clear up any miscommunication or misunderstanding that may have occurred because we would never discard someone s things. We want to assure you that we take your feedback seriously and are committed to continuously improving our services. We value every patient and their families, and it is never our intention to prioritize financial gains over their well-being; quite the opposite. We are here anytime to discuss the circumstances with you in greater detail. Reach out at 888-443-3869 24/7.
