Medically Assisted Detox Upon admission the client enters Sheer Recovery Detox and Residential Phase. Sheer Recovery's detox properties offer the following accommodations: sweeping ocean views, private and semi-private rooms, well prepared meals, 24/7 staff support, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and many other amenities.
The support of a comfortable environment is important, but only supplements the overall process. In Detox the physical and emotional withdrawal symptoms must immediately be addressed. They begin with a comprehensive toxicology report.
Once they have an understanding of what toxins are in the body you will have a face to face meeting with their Doctor. The doctor and staff will provide a customized detox plan that will work best for you individually. A typical detox process will range from five to ten days. Their goal is to remove all of the toxins in your body safely and comfortably.
Intensive Outpatient Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
Outpatient Outpatient programs are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Sheer Recovery's most successful clients complete all three phases of the Treatment Plan. The 3rd and final phase is completed on an out-patient and part time basis. This final phase is only recommended with completion of 90 days consecutive treatment.
A safe and secure environment for living while participating in an out-patient program should be established. Their case managers will assist you when discharge planning. It is at this time that the client should return to work, school, family and other responsibilities while supporting their recovery with organized meetings and therapy on an out-patient basis.
Inpatient Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives.
