About New Season Treatment Center – Savannah

New Season - Savannah Treatment Center is a private rehab located in Savannah, GA. New Season - Savannah Treatment Center specializes in the treatment of opioid addiction.

During MAT, FDA approved medications are combined with mental health counseling to treat the mental, emotional, and physical aspects of addiction. The medications help mitigate withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings to reduce the risk of relapse.

The outpatient counseling program supports MAT by helping individuals identify the root causes of their addictive tendencies while they practice new coping skills and strategies. This treatment allows clients to live at home outside of counseling.

New Season- Savannah Treatment Center accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance plans, which may include Amerigroup, Anthem, Beacon, Magellan, ComPsych, Aetna, HCSC, and more. Out of network benefits may vary, so it is important to verify coverage with the provider prior to starting treatment.

Nurse Mary is amazing! She is one of most professional, caring, and sweet nurses I ve ever met. You can tell she really cares about her job and her patients. The counselor I was assigned, Constance is also very kind, knowledgeable, and caring. I would recommend this facility to others in need. My only issue is that when a patient wants to come down on their medication, it should be up to the patient and not the doctors and counselors. As long as you re doing it under the care of them and slowly, coming down to eventually come off the medication should be encouraged. If your new to this place, keep in mind the higher you go dose wise on your medication, the longer it will take you to come down and off IF THEY LET YOU.

Location

Accepted Insurance

New Season Treatment Center – Savannah works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Inpatient rehabs feature intensive clinical supervision and a highly structured and supportive environment, meaning they are especially well suited for clients in early recovery and those at risk of relapse. Clients reside at the treatment facility and engage in various therapeutic sessions throughout the day, including addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training. Many programs also offer evidence-based complementary therapies, such as meditation and massage.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Clients enrolled in an intensive outpatient program (IOP) travel to treatment centers for specialized care multiple times per week. Intensive outpatient treatment allows clients to receive robust care while continuing to live at home. Most programs require between nine and 20 treatment hours per week, with the frequency and intensive of sessions decreasing as clients stabilize. Services generally include a combination of addiction counseling, medication assisted treatment (MAT), recovery-focused life skills training, and holistic therapies.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

A quality drug rehab in Georgia can help you overcome addiction. This environment is designed to help you address the complex issues contributing to drug dependence. The goal of treatment is to give you the tools you need to make a full recovery.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Where do I start? This place is very understaffed they have been through 5 pds, so many nurses and counselors can't count on my hands and toes. And let's not forget the attitude that comes when u say something they don't like, and I have watched the staff try fighting patients very unprofessional. The fact that this place is even open is beyond me. The attitude of the staff is awful. I feel like they are racist toward their patients. The best thing they got going for that place is the nurse Mary she is so respectful, tries to always let you know what's going on if there a wait and there most certainly is always a wait. They recently had to close the doors because there was no one to dose. But this pd just won't give takehomes to anyone she won't close for any holidays and lies constantly to her patients and even tells her staff to lie. I find this place very unprofessional. Please don't waste your time if you're serious about starting treatment. This place will make you wanna do drugs, not stop because of the unprofessionalism and attitude given. Oh, let's not forget I WAS a patient there for 6 years. Within the last few months, I changed clinics, and now everything is going smoothly, and I've already phased up.

Where does one start? I'll start here, the TRUTH, If you want to know about New Seasons (Savannah GA location) listen up. I am a (6) year patient of this Clinic, and I have seen the New Season Savannah Clinic, go though at least four Project Director's Four+ Peer support Coordinators, and over ten+ counselors, and I lost count of the prior nurses! With that said let's hit the raw factsNew seasons of Savannah GA, is now running smoother than I have ever seen it run in my six year at this clinic. OUR current Project Director is leaps and bounds above the three that came before her. Mrs. Sonya Minor-Herron, has not only turned the sails all the way around at her clinic, she even sees patients, does treatment plans, then she has her mountain of task just being a Project Director. So lets please clear the air. Anyone who complains about New Seasons of Savannah GA. Clinic, over a 20 min dose time, or the Clinic being busy??? Let me inform you Before Mrs. Sonya the dose times would be over a hour if you were lucky, that's if there was even a nurse on shift. In my personal opinion as I stated New Seasons of Savannah is well balanced, treatment focused and care oriented and is in the BEST running order ( even with a staff shortage) than I have ever seen it, and that goes to leadership and a solid team. If you are looking for a place that does NOT follow Cooperate rules, the state and DEA policies, rules ,and laws, than just maybe you should find a center that does not care about you or your recovery, and well being.New Season's of Savannah GA saved my life, PEROID! If that alone is not a good enough reason to stay if your are a patient, or give them a try if you are A new PATIENT, then what will?.The team Mrs. Sonya has right now which includes Mrs. Melissa the senior peer support Counselor/coordinator, Mrs. Michelle who handles all insurance claims and the federal grant, and Mrs. Mary the senior, and full time Nurse manager are all top notch and the best at their respective jobs and positions. So Please if you want a solid place to find a recovery program consider my review and my comments about what NEW Seasons of Savannah has to offer. Thank you for reading my review, it is a year over due! I am a pleased (6) year patient of New season of Savannah, and under the current Project Director and her strong, and over worked staff you cannot go wrong! Patient # 10297, Thank you to all that read my review and I give great respect to the leadership and strong staff at my clinic New Season of Savanah! good luck, and GOD BLESS!#10297

Do not come here!!! This place is highly understaffed and there isn't any way to hold a job and report here in mornings. One nurse every day that is constantly held up with intakes. Expect to wait 45-hr to get a morning dose. It's crazy....no clinic anywhere tries to serve hundreds of patients with only one nurse on staff. This treatment center needs to come of all that money they are making and actually staff this facility. Still no improvements, still waiting 45+ for dosing. Seriously? You've got 4+ dosing windows and u just shut everything down to admit a new patient whenever they feel like showing up? I can't even dose every day like I should , I don't have a "free " hour to hang out every morning.

I was rock bottom when I started treatment a few months ago. On my intake day I was scared and nervous as well as in withdrawls. I met the most delightful nurse (Mary) when it was time for my intake. She was kind and didn't judge me although I was judging myself. This lady sat and listened to me while I cried for I know 30 or more minutes. That was a very big deal to me to know there was one person who accepted me even though I was disappointed in myself. This nurse deserves to be over it all. She deserves a raise. I have told my friends to come to New Season for treatment.
