I completed a full stay at the lighthouse sober living as well as went through their PHP, IOP, and SOP programs they offer. Lighthouse didn’t just get me back on my feet, but they laid the necessary tools to live a happy, sober, and independent life in front of me and showed me in depth how to use each and every one of them. I will forever be in debt to what this program gave me during the most formative year of my life. Lighthouse is one of very few places where every staff member truly just wants to see you succeed. I could go through the list of names, but it would be too long. Thank you lighthouse for giving me the why’s and the how’s on how to live a life beyond what I could have imagined a little over a year ago.

Navigating this past year with my child in recovery was incredibly challenging, especially with him being 12 hours away from home. From the very beginning, the team at Lighthouse Recovery made me feel supported and informed every step of the way. I could tell that they truly cared for my child, not just as a client, but as a person. Bryce, my son’s case manager, was always timely and compassionate in his communication, answering my questions and keeping me updated. Frankie, the operations manager, took the time to help me understand addiction and what my child was going through. Brooke, the Chief Clinical Officer, also offered guidance and support. I had to trust complete strangers with my child, and I can honestly say that Lighthouse became an extension of our family. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care made an overwhelming situation feel manageable, and I am deeply grateful for everything they did to support both my child and our family.

If you want to quit and haven’t been able to, this place can help. I was unable to stay sober until I took the sober living approach, and Lighthouse is the best option available. The team is excellent and you will get results if you’re committed. My life looks completely different now, and I have a fresh start with hope that my best years are ahead of me; Lighthouse was a key part of me getting there.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with this VA clinic. Dr. Ingram and Jamillah have always gone above and beyond to make sure I’m taken care of. They consistently help me stay on top of my health and any care I need. I truly appreciate their professionalism and support.

I have struggled with addiction for almost 15 years. I went to many rehabs in Texas & EXPENSIVE ONES in California. My Mom got sick of paying for pricey rehabs that didn’t help. Oh, you can bring your kid to Nexus too! They have a separate dorm for families and pregnant women. Homeward Bound was the first rehab/detox I went to in Dallas. They USED TO give you Ativan when withdrawing from alcohol or drugs. That's a Godsend and that's the SAFE way to do it. Homeward Bound stopped doing that - they take you off everything, even medication for your heart, blood pressure, antidepressants, even seizures. The new doctors are sadists. DO NOT GO TO Homeward Bound! Then I discovered Nexus. What a breath of fresh air! Helpful and safe detox - they give you a full week in a separate building before starting you in the dorms. It's weird to say, but I loved it! The doctors, the "techs", the teachers, they even have a program for people who lost their ID'S, birth certificates, etc (as many of us addicts do). They have a program to help you get housing and a job too! It's like a big family. I actually went twice. You have to be ready to quit. If you truly are ready for real, Nexus is the place. I finally got sober after 15 years. I am now ALMOST 3 YEARS sober and I still talk to people from Nexus. Parkland's mobile bus also comes so that you can get real help right away, if you have urgent medical issues. As of 2022 they offered MAT, which is Suboxone. Nexus is so great, there's usually a waiting list, but you can show up in person (go EARLY), they'll interview you and if they think they can help - then you can get in. Anyone reading this..if I can do this, so can you! Be stubborn and don't let addiction win. Do whatever you have to to get here!

Only because Shamille and Julianna handled an issue I've been dealing w for a month when my so called therapist/caseworker Mona flaked out on our therapy app.last month. After numerous attempts at failed contacts Shamille got it figured and jumped on it and got me to where I needed to be. Thank you Shamille and Julianna for handing it so beautifully.💜

Asking for help. letter "Emotional support animals (ESAs)", Trying to get letters from a licensed mental health professional (therapist, psychiatrist, etc.). This letter verifies that the animal's presence is a necessary part of your treatment plan for a diagnosed mental or emotional disability. According to My apartment staff, having a Cat or Dog in the apartment must 1. pay non-refundable pet deposit of $400. 2. pay pet fee $30. each month 3. must sign pet addendum include apartment lease contract. The Fair Housing Act (FHA) mandates that landlords provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities, including those with ESAs. This means landlords cannot deny housing or charge pet fees/deposits for ESAs.

i needed help BAD and i called the crisis after hours line and a lady answered the phone and when i was telling her my thoughts, she hung up in my face. i took a deep breath and called again and Clint answered the phone in a sweet loving voice and was able to calm me down. he listened, set me up an early appointment for the next day and even picked me up. i wish i could give this location more than 5 stars. my special thanks goes to Clint. he doesnt know how much he saved my life.

Homeward Bound was the greatest experience I have ever been involved with, I love the food and they bus the clients to church 2 times a week and they feed you at both churches, I love 2nd Chance over in farmers branch, the staff is Amazing, Ms. Stephanie, Ms Donna, and the counselors that I didn't mention I love y'all, Ms Michelle, Ms Melissa, Mr.Darrell , AC in detox the entire nursing staff Mr. Mark the driver, I am still doing well, may Homeward Bound continue to be Blessed to keep saving lives. Oh don't let me forget Ms. Jeannie, Mr. Russell, Ms.Evelyn, Ms. Flore

Misty was the most amazing person I have ever met and made me realize it’s okay to be who I am, and realizing I have meaning and purpose. It’s not about yesterday it’s about being you. It was an amazing experience and one that I would recommend anyone that is struggling to do the work with people that have walked in your shoes. I left over 6 months ago and I still think about the impact that people have had on my life. Truly mind changing and the best thing you could for yourself and your life. This was scary for me, being my first time going into treatment voluntarily. I wanted to leave. In the end, I didn't want leave. I created a bond with the staff and other residents. It was a family hard to depart from.

Please ignore my previous post it wasn't complete. This experience at Methodist Richardson out patient Service. 8/20/25 I was scheduled for surgery and this is AMAZING!!!! From my Doctor Stone who Prayed for us before surgery. Starting in Triage. Austin and the female I can't remember her name. These two individuals are the best. Very curtious,respectful, and good at what they do. It's no doubt they are doing what they love. Dr. Patel and Tonya were the best they were very thorough and professional. Great at what they do. After the surgery woke up to another Wonderful experience. Mark,Paulina and everyone in recovery. WOW!! This Hospital has to be so proud of this staff,if ever staff member doesn't operate like this one. I mean everyone!! They should be training others. This should be how every patient should be treated when Lyn call me the next day Wonderful Customer Service and positive attitude. It was late in the day time to go home and was still in a great mood and you heard nothing buy good nature and a caring attitude like it was 9am and not 6pm. Wow!! Hats off to them all. God sent. Dr. Stone is the best a Doctor that openly prays for himself,Staff and the patient. SPECIAL!! IF anyone that reads this one Doctor that has done this you before. Please reply you or anyone has had an experience like this with another Doctors. I have some health issues and many surgeries over the past few years with Wonderful Doctors and not one has prayed with me before surgery. From now on if I have choice I choose Methodist Richardson George Bush freeway. Yes sir I will!
