Jcs was so great for my recovery. They brought me back to god and were genuinely caring about my well being and recovery. All of the staff are very welcoming and supportive. Almost everyone there is in recovery themselves so the have a real life perspective on what you are going through. Jcs showed me what a real life of recovery can look like. I m forever grateful and highly recommend this treatment center to anyone struggling with any type of addiction or mental health disorder.

Use to think JC was legit, until they had their employee rewarded for relapsing and going to detox . Ryan Weitzel admission director gets to be rewarded for getting high and keep his position. What kind of place thinks it s okay for a man that has less time then the people he s getting into treatment from detox okay? That s the real question. I know for a fact that JCs has kicked people out for less but smoking crack is totally fine.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program
Often referred to as "day treatment," a partial hospitalization program (PHP) offers an intensive treatment option that allows individuals to return home at night. PHP treatment typically requires a minimum of 20 hours a week for an average of 90 days. Participants attend daily therapeutic sessions, receive medication management, and have access to skilled medical professionals. While costs can vary, most insurance will fully or partially cover a partial hospitalization program.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
The first step of the recovery process involves the removal of all drugs and alcohol from your system while under 24/7 medical supervision. Known as a medically assisted detox, you are closely monitored by medical staff who can provide medications, if necessary, to help alleviate any potential withdrawal symptoms. Medical detox is usually followed by a period of inpatient addiction treatment.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

One benefit of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) in Florida is variety. NRT comes in multiple forms that you can use in different ways. This allows you to choose the form that works best with your needs and lifestyle. Your options include gum, patches, inhalers, and prescription medication.

JC S has become a great place to me to continue my journey with recovery. The staff in my opinion are very helpful, loving and professional. I m finally getting what I need, recovery from alcohol and helping me to get back in touch with my higher power. That being God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. For me recovery, the 12 steps and reestablishing my connection with God go hand in hand!! I love JC S and what they have to offer!

JC's Recovery Center was an answer to prayer and key part of our daughter's recovery from her addiction. The staff were caring , and very professional and the executive staff1w, owner Stevie B and his leaders gave her the faith building tools she needed so my daughters faith grew and she got her life back. It is a great place and our daughter learned to cope with her mental health issues and be strong in a faith based approach to sobriety. I would recommend JC''s recovery center without hesitation to any parent looking to find a place for their son or daughter where faith is strengthened and there is indeed a way out of the darkness of addiction. Thanks to JC's Recovery Center and their help with my daughter proves there is a way out.

I honestly don't even know where to begin. JC's is my family! I honestly wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for them. The love and care that they show their clients is beyond compare. If I could give them 20 stars I would say they are that good. please trust me when I say if you or a loved one needs help you will find it here. Never in my life have I ever been to a treatment center like this I can barely put it in words God the father has his hand over this facility and I'm so happy to have been a part of it. Love you guys.

Jc recovery has saved my life as well brought me closer to our lord Jesus Christ. This is the ONLY treatment center in Florida that cares for its actual clients, the whole staff is like family. Also the therapist and staff will always be there for you no matter it is. As well the owner Stevie B is the only owner in Florida that will actually run groups, be available for support and guidance, genuinely care about you and your well being. I have been here for 90 days and I could never be at this point of my life without JC recovery center, Jesus, and friends/family. I would recommend this facility to anyone who struggles with addiction. This place is and will always be an extension of the lords hands and heart for aiding in miracles and recovery.

I am writing as the mother of an addict. My son started substances specifically marijuana at age 14. He is now 27 and he s been using since 14 years old so needless to say it s been an uncertain and scary journey. We tried everything, of course, and I was there to support him through getting a GED and engaging in various substance abuse treatments. Nothing ever worked, and in his mid 20s, his addiction escalated to the point where he was using meth daily and living in a homeless camp in the bushes. We prayed for a miracle, and God answered and got him to agree to go to Florida for an inpatient medical treatment program which was Beachway therapy. Unfortunately, his stay there is limited to six weeks so we did not want him coming back to Hawaii, where we live because of the triggers and high possibility of returning to his old lifestyle so we needed a place for him to continue being treated and supported. He did a stent at an outpatient program for a while, but when the time ran up, he still was not ready to return home and we found him another program in Fort Lauderdale. However, after one day, he ran from the program because it was too restrictive and rigid and so fortunately, someone recommended JC s Recovery Center among other sites but JC is the only one that answered the phone and Mr. Brandon Hammer answered. We were desperate at the time, because my son was determined to come back home prematurely, and I was afraid for the worse. Brandon agreed to pick up my son from the side of the road because his heart softened for a situation. As soon as my son went to the program at JC s, you could see growth and motivation. The program supported him in a spiritual and practical way, and I am so happy to say that my son is still sober after 14 months, and is gainfully employed and thriving! I am very grateful and thankful to the caring and genuine staff at JC s Recovery.
