Levels of Care
Outpatient
Outpatient rehab physical therapy is designed for patients who are in need of physical therapy due to an injury or serious medical condition but are independent enough to receive these services while living at home. The focus of outpatient physical therapy is helping people improve their mobility and quality of life, so they can get back to daily activities. Visits tend to be between 40 and 60 minutes, with additional exercises that a patient can do at home. An outpatient physical therapy clinic may also offer other services such as aquatic therapy, biofeedback, massage, and more.

Clinical Services
Joint Replacement Therapy
Joint replacement rehab is designed for individuals who have experienced total joint replacement, such as hip and knee replacements. A physiotherapist will create a treatment plan which will typically feature a combination of manual therapy and gentle therapeutic exercises with the goal of increasing motion, flexibility, strength, endurance, and overall mobility. The goal of joint replacement therapy is to help with the recovery process and ease pain while also increasing overall functionality. It can be beneficial both before and after joint replacement therapy.
Knee, Ankle and Foot Therapy
Rehabilitation for foot, ankle and knee pain is designed to help treat pain, stiffness and joint limitations in the lower extremities. This includes treatment for conditions such as sprained ankle and heel pain. Ankle, foot and knee physical therapy may include a combination of electrical stimulation, gait training, infrared, hot and cold treatments, foot therapy, massage, manual therapy, soft tissue and joint mobilization, pre-and-post surgery rehabilitation, therapeutic exercise and ultrasound. The goal is to relax and stimulate muscles, increase range of motion and reduce pain.
Spine, Back and Neck Therapy
Physiotherapy can provide relief for cervical, back, and neck pain. A physiotherapist will typically use a combination of different therapies such as electrical stimulation, ergonomic supports, heat, ice, joint mobilization, massage for lower back pain, ultrasound, soft tissue mobilization, traction, and therapeutic exercises. The goal of neck rehabilitation and physiotherapy for back pain is to reduce pain and inflammation while increasing mobility.
