Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

There are many types of drug rehab in North Carolina. To receive treatment for addiction, you can choose from many inpatient and outpatient programs. Often, participants start with detox and work through a full continuum of care that continues with ongoing support for long-term recovery.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

New seasons definitely made it possible for me to change my life around and to get it back. They have traveled the journey with me of getting clean and making a recovery. That is wonderful and extremely noticeable to all of my peers and family. I m proud to say that I m excited to see the faces Through new seasons every morning when I go, they help brighten my day and remind me that I have a lot to live for and to fight for and stay clean. I haven t met one single person from new season that works there or even that attends there with me that isn t a wonderful person , I ve never met such a group of people that works somewhere in that type of Field that is completely as genuine as the staff at new seasons is about their patients recovery, they want to give the best service to each and everyone of us. I wish I would have known about new seasons because I would have been able to make my recovery a lot sooner I want to find a way to get it out there to others in that new seasons is here and ready to help them. If they re ready for the help they definitely do not make you feel embarrassed or bad about anything that brought us here. They re just glad to have us here and help us recover and be the best person that we can be for ourselves and our loved ones from the time I walk into the door and check in with Miss beautiful I call her, but Miss Taylor, Miss Teresa, my counselor, Mr. Steve, the Director, Mr. Preston, another counselor, Mr. Alicia, my head, nurse, and the nursing staff, Miss Tonya, and absolutely everyone that I missed putting in this review because I m running out of space I could give 10 stars I would give 20 but I can only give five but their way more than a 5 Star Treatment Center. I just wanted to give a big shout out and thank you to my hero, new seasons, treatment center and the entire staff there as well as the entire patient crew and I m gonna do my best to get the word out for others to know about new seasons, and how wonderful, they are and how hard they work to make sure we have a better life a huge thank you and much love!-Abby

I experienced a nightmare of controlling counselors with little or no training who felt any conversation was a lie and coming from a street level drug addict. I tried desperately to form some type of relationship with Dave, who had the longest run at counseling. He took everything I said and made it into something even I could never imagine being a part of a person with this disease. I was so miserable going to this clinic, I filed a federal claim which is in review at this time (April 2023). If you have thick skin, or don't care about anything but getting high, you found your place. Otherwise, look for a company that cares about you....something I never found at Metro dba "new seasons"

Response from the owner1 year ago
