All staff, nurses, mha's etc were awesome in helping me with my condition, the only negative things were more communication needs to be done for your loved ones at home that are not sure how you actually are and what your treatment plans are. Also some of the security officers at the front desk are rude and abrasive to family members trying to bring needed supplies as they're not sure what to do or where to go. Lastly when things are brought in to security it shouldn't take a full day to get it to you. The staff who cared for me in Short Term Care were all phenomenal, but Kelly and Jakob(sp?) stood out in particular. I came in to the facility with a horrible attitude after spending a terrible night at Community, and they turned me around. And the food was good! Bibaway is truly a blessing from God. My uncle, Nelson, suffered a severe stroke, and we were told that he only had about 24 hours to live. Dr. Joseph M. Bibaway stayed with him and worked throughout the entire night, doing everything possible to save his life. Today, by the grace of God, my uncle is alive and doing well, with very little physical damage from the stroke. We are incredibly grateful and thankful to God for giving Dr. Bibaway the knowledge, dedication, compassion, and perseverance to be there for my uncle when he needed it most. I was told that it wasn't an issue. They were ordering mouse wads as far as drug testing goes then I find out weeks later, but that's not going to be allowed and I can get a doctors note and they may or may not honor it. Then I was told the groups were 6-9 Tuesday Wednesday Thursday. I had inquired about afternoon groups as that's really late at night, I was told that Tuesday morning there was an afternoon group and there was an instrument in Friday morning group. Oh well again Jake gave me misinformation because he didn't even bother to look in my files to know that I was at level IOP not OP therefore I wouldn't be able to do the Tuesday morning or Friday afternoon. Intermittent Group, and also not telling me that Monday night was also an option as well as Friday nights being an option. Edit to update my review. Although there was weeks of misinformation given by Jake, I decided to just ask to speak with someone else I've been in contact with Carissa and she has been extremely kind and has been very helpful into getting this process started. Thank you Carissa Edit again: all though getting enrolled wasn't the most ideal process I can say the groups are really great and the counselors are all so kind. Dana has such a huge heart as do they all and they do all truly care about the clients. He was in consistent contact with me on our concerns, listened not only to my son but me as a mom and my other son as a brother and took all of our concerns and feedback into his sessions with my son. He helped my son work through not only the issues he was having but gave him the coping skills to tackle hard things going forward. We will miss him and the staff greatly. The person I've been paired with genuinely cares as well, and is trying her damndest to find me a job where my skillset and knowledge would be best used. I took them out and switched her to preferred and now she sees Megan and WOW she is doing so much better she’s so much more communicative and open her behavior has drastically changed and I feel like I’ve got my child back. I recommend them to anyone that sees that their child is going through a rough time. Julia makes it feel more like a friendly environment more than your average text book counseling which I find very comforting. I have been to treatment several times throughout my lifetime and for the first time I feel like I’m actually doing something with my recovery. I actually look forward of going and having my sessions with Julia . You can actually feel the attention Julia gives she caring and pays close attention on whatever you need help with . My sessions with Julia do not feel like I’m sitting with someone listening to my issues for a paycheck you get that sense of talking to someone really does care. Take it from a 42 year old that has been in many rooms and always feeling a sense of not belonging. I’m glad this time around I met Julia as my counselor and I really couldn’t be more grateful to have her treating my issues I never thought feeling so good about counseling existed. At times being employed by and other times as a patient. By far the counselors that break their tail every day for their patience to have a positive outcome and fair shot at a good life. Is second to none. In tandem with their psychiatric services and on the ball medication treatments. The only response in what they do for their patients, Is first class, five stars all around every time.
