Unfortunately, I had to leave unexpectedly and faced challenges with the personal belongings policy. I couldn't return for thirty days, and there was a 72-hour hold on my items, which made it hard to get my license and insurance card for another treatment center.Hal, the behavior tech supervisor, went above and beyond to help me; he photocopied my important cards and emailed them to me, demonstrating that he and the staff genuinely care about everyone s journey to recovery.While I appreciated the support, a revisit of the 72-hour hold policy should be considered, especially if items are needed to transition into a new treatment center. Overall, Discovery is a nice place with great staff, and I hope they can improve this aspect in the future.

I arrived by ambulance and was treated in the emergency room, admitted and prepped for surgery. The surgery was done less than 7 hrs after my arrival and I was home the next day! Which happened to be Christmas Eve! Everyone I encountered was professional and kind. To the emergency staff and doctors, to the surgical team and Dr. Jane Park and especially the nursing staff on 3B ( special shout out to Lauren (RN) I want to give my sincere thanks! I feel like a new woman! I would definitely recommend Community Medical Center to anyone in the Ocean County area.
