Boca is an amazing place. The staff is absolutely amazing. I was fortunate enough to be able to work with Misty and Sondra. From day 1 until the day I left was a complete 180. Misty helped set me up for my next steps, and truly cares and checked in on me to make sure it was the right fit. She got to know understood me as a person and truly knew the right next steps for me to be set up for success. Highly recommend Boca.

Aria, Thank you for your review of Boca Recovery Center!
I have one complaint but, it made a big impact on my stay. The lead tech Alexis made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe! This girl went out of her way to do so just because she good friends with another patient whom did not like me. Also may have been because I was speaking up on the favoritism she was showing this patient by allowing her to stay up past curfew and walk with her around the halls, allowing her sit and hangout in the tech office all night, and allowing her to make unauthorized phones calls in the night. One night this particular patient was calling me out of my name and instead of arguing back, I went outside to blow off some steam. Alexis followed me out to the patio, called the supervisor right in front of me asking her to stay by the phone that night because I was being aggressive . She then got on the radio called in the techs telling them to keep a close eye on me because I was being aggressive. I did not say anything about it until the next day to the supervisor. From that point on she was taunting me for the rest of my stay! To avoid her I would go to bed early on the nights she worked but even then she found her ways all the way up to my last night there!.. But other than that I loved Kandela. I learned a lot about myself, new coping skills, and tools to apply to my life. I also loved ALL of the staff! I am grateful for my experiences with Kandela and if it wasn t for that one tech I d give 5 stars. As she is a lead which implies lead-er not just the techs beneath her but for the patients as well. I hope this post is not only seen but also taken very seriously. I was there to get help and I worked the program, taking all that I could from it! Shout out to Antonia who breaks her back everyday to be assure that all patients are cared for and that the place is functioning at its best!#TheKandelaEffect will always hold a place in my heart!
