MCCA mcdonough was my 4th rehab and probably my last chance to get sober. It was the best place for me to come to in the state I was in and honestly Jenni, Heather, and Michelle are THE best counselors I ve ever met and worked with out of all the rehabs I ve been to. They believed in me when I didn t believe in myself. And they all go above and beyond to help any client with whatever they can. They are the reason I have remained so connected to the program, as well as helping me get back on my feet and in sober living and building a community and network in recovery. I cannot recommend The Center for Discovery enough. I had the pleasure of working in collaboration with them, supporting their clients through psychological evaluations. What I appreciate most about the Center for Discovery is that the clinicians don t just sit across from you in a clinical, detached way they are in it with you. They share in your tears and your laughter, offering both empathy and strength in equal measure. They genuinely want what is best for their clients and are not afraid to actively pursue that even if it goes outside of the box. What sets the Center for Discovery apart is their unwavering commitment to walking alongside you on your journey, offering a sense of companionship and healing that is rare to find. Words can not explain the healing that I have experienced at Hoving Home. I truly found my identity in Jesus Christ. I witnessed His mighty power in restoring families and lives. The leaders within the home are truly being used by God to show His love to many women whom have never experienced true love before. I absolutely recommend this ministry to those battling addiction. There is hope. Jesus can do a work in everyone. He did not call on those that we consider "qualified" to carry out His will, He uses the unqualified. He used me. He can and will use you.

I would give 5 to the Doctors but to the nurses NO, NO!. if those nurses from the day shift that gave me hell on 8 B Floor could have been more human I would had given 5. Those nurses on day shift are really dehumanized, mean, disrespectful, unprofessional nasty with me. And only because I keep complaining asking for supervisor who they never have on the week end they keep getting mean it as mean. Then the day doctors discharge me another hell during the day around 4:00Another set of problem. They try to know everything they don t let you talk I requested many time transportation across the street the hospital where I reside and keep telling me it was fine. But they never did the arrange the they left me at the lobby or the hospital for 3 hours waiting for a taxi service apparently the social worker that day Dic. 27th, 2024. I had to call police to intervene because I was in pain on my knee and me waiting for a taxi that never arrived. Then a man at the information desk from Metropolitan came out his front desk counter and started scolding me that I was not paying attention on the taxi that they taxi came and left. Bunch of lies from this person. Is unbelievable that a hospital with fairly good reputation and small cannot give their patient a professional accurate and without bias a compassionate services. You could be begging 45 minutes for a wheel chair waiting out side in a uber and that was the Saturday prior to that in the ER they did nit has a wheel chair. Doctor are okay polite they very to do their job and some are very compassionate. But the service overall the hospital lack supervisors managers social workers professionals. The social workers and supervisor they are there just doing nothing. They say they will call you and help you I and do something and they never do. That happened also to me in the dentist department in the 2nd Floor. They are really bad with appointments they don t give appointments. Unless you go at 6 am at the beginning of the month after a long line I d 15 or 20 people you may get an appointment. And that is like that at Metropolitan, primary doctors are fine but they only have 15 minutes with each patient. The the tests and x ray or MRI ultrasound again the sameThing no appointments after your doctor give you a referral you could wait 3 months to have a study of MRI something you need right away. No good this hospital I have been dealing with them for convenience since they are next to May home. That it, I would give 5 to doctors but hospital is horrible service no good!.
