outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Heart icon Treatment

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

house-medical iconTrauma Therapy

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. Ken is seriously the best person ever. Prices are fair and every single session I had I felt very comfortable telling him things. If for whatever reason you have to use this place I highly recommend him.

Rick has years and years of experience as a counselor. He truly helps you understand things from a scientific view and connects with you on an experiential level. I couldn t recommend Rick highly enough, whether it is for relationship issues or substance abuse problems. I saw Rick for my drivers license substance abuse evaluation. He was thorough, and he knows the forms required by the state extremely well. If you are trying to win your life back, see Rick as your first steps and you won t be disappointed.

Rick is a wonderful counselor. He is down-to-earth and very easy to talk to. He has so much life experience himself, that you truly do feel that he can relate to how you feel. Can honestly say I am grateful I was referred to them. It was bittersweet when I finished my program. The reviews about parking are ridiculous. His location is in downtown Howell so finding parking is the same as any place that is in a downtown area. I personally have never had a problem finding parking.

I got to know Rick as a counselor, when i was paroled from MDOC. We put together a plan for recovery. After a couple years went by and i became eligable to apply for my driving privelages back, i went to rick for my assesment. We talked about what that would mean for my sobriety and the challenges i would face. We divised a plan and implemented it. Today i am driving. Thank you Rick and the complete counsilng staff for the work you did to make this a reality! Need to get your licence back? Don't call saul. Call the Complete Counsilng team. Aho, Mitakuye Oyasin!

This place packs people in and they do NOT have the parking for them. You cant even drive through the street. They dont belong in that building for their buisness. Neighborhood nucience . this is a residential street. Howell needs ordinance. Please move to a adequate location.
