CLARE | MATRIX Outpatient Treatment Center - Ontario CA 91762

About CLARE|MATRIX

CLARE | MATRIX offers CARF accredited treatment for substance use and co-occurring disorders. They have three outpatient locations, including the location on Euclid Avenue in Ontario, California. They offer treatment for adult men and women. They have residential facilities for detox and inpatient treatment at the Santa Monica location. The Ontario location is outpatient (OP) only.

The organization strives to serve everyone regardless of ability to pay. They accept Medi-Cal and they’re in network with several private insurance providers. They also offer scholarships if you’re uninsured and don’t qualify for any type of insurance.

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) in Ontario offers flexibility while still giving you enough structure to maintain your sobriety. You’ll have time to work or go to school and be with your family. The focus of the program is to help you gain insight into your mental health disorder and substance use.

You’ll be in treatment 3-5 days a week. Each day is up to three hours of treatment. There’s also one individual therapy session each week. There’s a family group if it’s appropriate for your situation. They offer 12 Step meetings and psychiatric services.

As you learn more about your mental health issues and how they drive your substance use, you’ll see how your behavior and use affect your family and relationships. You’ll learn better coping skills for dealing with everyday stressors so you don’t have to turn to substances. They use group therapy, relapse prevention, family therapy, psychoeducation, and self help.

There’s also an individualized outpatient program. This is a less restrictive program for people who need care but are functioning in the community. You’ll have a custom treatment plan that includes an assessment and weekly case management sessions. There are also individual therapy and psychiatric services if you need them. Random drug testing is included in the outpatient programs.

The program is complete trash, they don't help you out at all with drug addictions, It's more of a "come and waste your time, but you give the impression to your family or friends you've 'gotten help' " kind of thing. No helping you getting over your addictions or issues, they're just there to get ur money and punish you if you use drugs. That's it. Save ur money and go somewhere else. They just want your money, and to waste your time. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because staff is very nice, they try to create a repore and all that, they're all very outgoing people (some more annoying and strict than others). My favourite was Chad <3 :)

Accepted Insurance

CLARE|MATRIX works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.

Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma therapy is a structured approach used by therapists to help you heal from a past traumatic event. Your therapist works with you to identify the traumatic memory and process the information so you experience emotional healing and a sense of safety and stability.

Family therapy offers a platform for members to have an open dialogue about the challenges that addiction has placed on the family unit. Through guided sessions, therapists can help families develop healthy communication skills and address unresolved issues. By working together toward a common goal, they help to support their loved one's sobriety.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

Recreational therapy is included in alcohol and drug addiction treatment to focus on engaging you in healthy activities that reduce your cravings and improve your overall health and well being. When you participate in group sports, art, or nature walks, you develop new interests and find a meaningful way to spend your time and reduce your cravings.
