I highly DO NOT recommend. The owners will lie to you to get you to come there just to be disappointed. Nothing they say is true. The pictures on the website aren't even what it looks like in person. There "so good staff" took my wallet home not once but twice. They told me they go out and do stuff all the time. I went to 3 AA meetings the whole month I was there and went on a couple walks. Mostly you sit around the house and do nothing. You would think as much money as they get out of your insurance they could pay to take you out. Hardly ever food in the fridge and no "personal cheif" like they told everyone. Might as well buy your own groceries like some people did. They told me 30 days then tried to keep me longer and when it was time to go home they kicked me out in the street and made me get my own plane ticket and Uber to the airport. These people are only in it for the money. And most of these reveiws are their staff or people they got to review for them! This place is a joke! I truly feel sorry for anyone who goes here!

Accepted Insurance

California Wellness Center works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Clients receiving treatment at an outpatient rehab typically do not require hospitalization or intensive supervision and support. Outpatient addiction counseling and recovery education are often offered during the morning, evening, night, and weekend, allowing clients to tailor treatment to their own schedule. Partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs are the most time-intensive and are designed for clients who are at an increased relapse risk and/or who need more robust therapeutic support.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) support a client's sustained sobriety as they exit detox or step down from an inpatient program. IOPs are also designed for clients who are at an elevated risk of relapse. Intensive outpatient treatment typically requires clients to engage in a minimum of nine hours of therapy per week, but clients may receive up to 20 therapeutic hours weekly. IOP treatment modalities often combine psychotherapy, recovery-focused life skills training, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Rehab aftercare programs offer clients in addiction recovery a robust continuum of care after clients have completed active treatment. These services address recovery as a life-long process and are designed to evolve with clients' changing needs. Clients may partner with their case managers and/or addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services that are right for them. They may receive career counseling, housing assistance, peer coaching, 12 step program induction, among many other services.
12-step icon12-Step
Participants engaged in 12 step programs receive intensive peer coaching (sponsorship) and community support. Spiritual development as a means of achieving psychological and emotional healing and growth is the cornerstone of 12 step recovery, but religious affiliations are not required. Meetings are free, anonymous, and open to the public, though specialized formats are available, including groups for seniors, teens, and family members. Evening, night, and day meetings are conducted year-round in most communities.
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
Sober living homes in California offers an intermediate sober environment that has less structure than inpatient rehab but more than typical home environments. This makes it a good option for those who have concerns about transitioning back to the "real world" after treatment. Residents can typically live at the halfway house as long as they want, if they are willing to follow house rules. These may include a curfew, chores, and maintaining a job.
24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care
During the first phase of recovery – detox – it is crucial to have 24-hour clinical care in California. This care provides constant monitoring in order to ensure your safely and comfort as you progress through the withdrawal process for drug or alcohol addiction. Licensed professionals prescribe medications to treat withdrawal symptoms and provide frequent monitoring to ensure your safely as addictive toxins leave your system.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
When addicted, quitting your drug of choice suddenly can be dangerous. That's why experts agree a medically assisted detox is the safest way to remove addictive substances from the body. Usually done in an inpatient setting, your vitals signs and overall well being are consistently monitored and rechecked in order to keep you safe and ensure the detox is successful.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy in California is a method that therapists often use for the effective treatment of substance use disorders. It is based on the principle that substance abuse stems from unhelpful ways of thinking and patterns of behavior, which can be changed by helping the individual learn better ways of coping.

While participating in dialectical behavior therapy in California, you'll focus on four key areas of skill development: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. Treatment includes weekly individual and group sessions.

During group therapy, men and women learn to express their emotions openly in a non judgmental setting. This helps you process your feelings and reduces feelings of social isolation that are often associated with addiction.

Individual therapy for drug addiction includes a customized treatment plan that considers your history and life circumstances. During your therapy sessions, the therapist helps you uncover underlying issues and triggers for addictive behavior that support a holistic approach to recovery.

Trauma therapy is a structured approach used by therapists to help you heal from a past traumatic event. Your therapist works with you to identify the traumatic memory and process the information so you experience emotional healing and a sense of safety and stability.

The goal of couples therapy in California is to strengthen the couple's relationship. The therapist may take one or more approaches to counseling which may include the Gottman method, emotionally focused therapy, behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic couple's therapy.

Family therapy offers a platform for members to have an open dialogue about the challenges that addiction has placed on the family unit. Through guided sessions, therapists can help families develop healthy communication skills and address unresolved issues. By working together toward a common goal, they help to support their loved one's sobriety.

While in rehab treatment, you may work on developing various life skills to help you in long term recovery. These may include resilience, interpersonal skills, and self awareness. The focus will be on developing healthy habits for self care and relationships so you have the skills you need to manage day to day life.

Recreational therapy is included in alcohol and drug addiction treatment to focus on engaging you in healthy activities that reduce your cravings and improve your overall health and well being. When you participate in group sports, art, or nature walks, you develop new interests and find a meaningful way to spend your time and reduce your cravings.

The goal of creative arts therapy in California is to encourage growth and transformation. It can be used in individual and group settings with both children and adults. Options include movement, music, and painting.

Highly recommend California Wellness for anybody struggling with addiction and or alcohol abuse. Hands down the best facility I have ever had the pleasure working for. Owners and staff go above and beyond for the clients and definitely put the clients wellbeing, recovery journey and needs first. I would recommend this facility for any and everybody struggling with alcoholism or drug abuse. So grateful to be apart of this facility and the CWC family.

I did not have the experience as those before me had. I would rate them negative stars if possible. I was mislead not once but twice by the owners and staff. They lied to my husband and I on numerous occasions. You can stay at home and watch TV to get more treatment then you will receive there. They lie and manipulate family members about your treatment. Which lead to many of the reasons I left. They ordered my medication and did not give them to me upon my departure. Nor do they even care if you make it to a safe place when you leave. Not even as much as a phone call! Make sure you take plenty of extra money as you will need it. My advice is do your research before you buy into their "salesmanship" strategies. I had to file a quality control complaint with my insurance company when I got home. Just be cautious and research all your options. Someone that has to try so hard to "sell" their facility, doesn't typically have much to offer.

I highly recommend and support everything this Center does to actually help those who want to change their lives for the better. Will has not only mentored me but has become a pivotal person in my life, I can t thank him enough for helping me kick my alcohol and substance abuse issues. There is no better place to start sobriety than at CWC!

I can't even begin to explain what a great decision CWC was for me. I have never been to rehab, and when I realized I needed to go the jump was scary. Connor and Will walked me through everything making sure I understood how it was going to work. When I was admitted the staff- absolutely phenomenal. Everybody was so caring. Between groups, therapy, the doctor, meals, down time and "family movies and game time" I would not trade it for the world. I can't thank CWC enough for the tools they have given me. I have such a new outlook on life. Thank you CWC

I reached out and spoke with them when my cousin relapsed and needed help. What I loved was the hours staff took to help find something that would work for her. And she is still clean today! I am beyond grateful and would definitely call them again if I know of anyone struggling with substance abuse.
